I'm actually really surprised at the rating on yelp for this place, it's much better in other review platforms and i would agree this place is top-notch. We stopped in here on a long road trip and were seated right away. The restaurant feels intimate and family owned with a caring personal vibe. They had a good variety of flavored margaritas that we sampled. The peach and raspberry were our favorites but the banana was also good. The chips and salsa hit the spot and the servings for lunch were very generous. My husband had the appetizer sampler, which was big enough to feed a family, and he took plenty of it home for late night snackage. The carnitas tacos I had were hands down the best tacos of my life... I'm drooling a little thinking about them now. Great place, friendly service, awesome food. We make this road trip to see family about twice a year and this will always be our lunch spot from now on. read more

Used to love Sergios, but the last three times we've been in, we've been quite disappointed. The food has become bland and just barely warm. Last time the salsa had been watered down so much it tasted horrible and would not even coat a tortilla chip. Service remains good. I'm sad to see this happening to what was a very nice restaurant, but after three experiences I am reluctant to return. I hope they read this review and bring the quality of the food back up to what it was in the past. read more

I was on a 2 Day Rd. trip, I needed a place to eat when I stopped in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I was craving Mexican food, so I did a Yelp search and it showed me to go to Sergio's. It was right down the street from my motel. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a young lady who sat me within 30 seconds of arriving. In under five minutes from the time I walked in the door, they had served me chips and salsa, taken my drink and food order, & served me my drink and salad. My food arrived about 10 minutes later and it was really good. I did the Chicken Mole enchiladas. It had sour cream, avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, beans, &!rice on the side. The food was very tasty and the service was spot- on. I will definitely come back here when I'm in Klamath Falls and looking for really good Mexican and great service. We don't eat out very often and hadn't been to Sergio's in years. Ambiance was fine, a little dark at 5:00p.m. Were seated promptly with only four other people there. Order was for drinks was also taken timely. Ordered shrimp fajita and a chicken fajita. Our beans and rice came, but not out platters. When they got there the beans were cold. I asked for some sour cream for my shrimp fajita and received a small dish with a scoop of sour cream. Had to ask for glasses of water. The fajitas came with one flour and one corn. I got two flour and my husband got three corn tortillas. The shrimp and chicken were plentiful, but it was nothing but green pepper and onion slices with no seasoning of any kind on it. The bill came and we were charged $4.50 for the sour cream and $12.50 for my Pina Colada. Not able to read the fine print on the ticket as to the low light in the room, you are charged $1.5% if you use a credit card. We won't go to Sergio's again. read more

Fantastic food, great atmosphere. Party of 5, 4 of us were there for first time. We ordered something like a taco salad, and the rest were combo plates of enchiladas, tacos and tamales. So good! Someone at another table ordered fajitas, oh Lord, they smelled amazing. Beer comes in the bottle with a frozen glass, root beer the same. Loved the watermelon margaritas, one of our friends said it was a bit sour/salty and she preferred a sweeter margarita, so keep that in mind if you like a sweeter drink. Cozy little restaurant with very attentive friendly wait staff. Had the chimichanga, guacamole for our chips. Both were good and tasted very fresh. I even liked the beans and rice. This is the only Mexican restaurant I've eaten at, since I've been to Klamath, where the beans and rice actually tasted right. I've tried two other Mexican restaurants in town, who always get good reviews for some reason, in which the beans and rice tasted funny and not fresh. I will go back. read more

So a friend and I decided to stop here for lunch since it's been years since the last time we were here. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken which was great. Our server came and took our order fairly quickly as well. Sadly though the food really wasn't as good as I remember, I ordered a combo enchilada and chille relleno and my friend ordered the burrito ranchero. Our plates came out hot but the food was barely warm. The burrito was apparently good but the chille was inedible, it tasted of burnt or deep fried egg, the chille was ripe almost to the point t of being rotten. The enchilada was very typical not really anything to stand out. I think it's going to be another 20yrs before I come back.., this town offers much better Mexican food for the money elsewhere. read more

Decent food. Very friendly servers. But it seemed like they lost our ticket, since food arrived long, long, long after we had ordered. We watched as table after table arrived later than us, but was served quickly. Especially if they ordered margueritas. We are non-drinkers. Is there a connection? Not sure. Also - I have traveled quite a bit in Mexico and enjoy a good fish or prawns in mojo de ajo style. I wouldn't recommend it at Sergio's where it featured 6 small shrimp (not prawns) slathered in melted cheddar cheese and a slight flavoring of minced garlic. Let me be honest, I haven't had a real meal at this place in years. I'm more of a happy hour kinda gal here. The waitstaff are always so polite and friendly! They always greet you and smile. The lighting is low and relaxing. Perfect place to unwind with a drink after a long day of work! As soon as you sit down, a man will come bring you free chips and salsa. The chip are home made, crispy, and not too greasy. The salsa has amazing flavor! It's spicy and has a good texture. The margaritas are cheap and strong and come in a variety of flavors: strawberry, mango, peach. For two margaritas during the happy hour, you'll pay $5.50. They also have deals for bottles of beer and well drinks! My favorite part about happy hour here? Free food! They have your regular crudite platter (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers), but then they also have... FREE TACOS! FREE FRIED BURRITO-LIKE THINGS! AND FREE SPICY PORK! With free food and cheap drinks, I'm definitely gonna keep coming here to unwind after work. read more

We hadn't been to Sergio's for a while so we dropped in tonight. I don't know if it was even on the menu or not but I ordered a veggie burrito and that was that. A perfectly delightful burrito with beans, mushrooms, green peppers and who knows what else. Also - I asked if they had any extra hot salsa and they brought out a small bowl of greenish salsa. I've been complaining for years that nothing I ever order in a restaurant is ever hot and spicy enough - but this salsa was certainly had a lot of heat, and I was sucking ice cubes. My meal was absolutely perfect, and the service was excellent as always, and it wasn't expensive. We noticed many people coming in and heading into the lounge - the Happy Hour is popular. After our meal we decided to check out the Happy Hour (just for a peak). It was full of people who appeared, well, pretty happy. There was a table of complimentary food which included veggies (carrots, cucumber slices, etc.), tacos, chicken wings, and some fried things (not sure what they were). I called to place an order over the phone after picking up my food and driving home I realized majority of my order was wrong. The chips and salsa were perfect for pre dinner appetizer. We were a little disappointed in that they will refill your soda but beware it costs extra do so.
