For those of us from Phoenix, be aware this is Chelsea's in name, but the quality of the food and service are not up to the same standards as the original restaurant. It's decent as long as you set your expectations that this location is more like an above average airport diner. read more

Serious Greedflation and shady business at Chelsea's. Food is fine but do not order wine. I had four hours to kill before a delayed flight so I asked the server if it was alright if I camped for a while. Server said no problem and was gracious and personable and checked in just often enough. I had a Sauvignon blanc and decent ceviche and spent a few hours knitting a hat and listening to music. It was a lovely and relaxing evening. Would have been 4 stars, then the bill came. Friends, they charged $18.75 for a GLASS of wine. Server grimaced and told me it was good thing I didn't order the merlot. That's $21 a glass. Seriously, I thought I was accidentally charged for a bottle. I was told they aren't allowed to hand out drink menus or warn customers of the prices unless they specifically ask. Tipped the server $20 for letting me warm the seat so long, but holy cow. I'll go anywhere else preflight for a meal or snack, geez. read more

The lady behind the bar-forgot her name but she is from Detroit and loves the Lyons football team. She was super friendly-just over the top service and she was the same with all her patrons. I love her spirit-she is amazing!!! read more

It always surprises me when good restaurants risk their reputation by having an airport location where it's inherently tougher to maintain brand standards. I love the 40th & Camelback location which is why I've given the Terminal 4 location a 3rd try to get it right...which they couldn't. Pricing is high which is not unusual for an airport so that gets a pass. However the quality of the food & drinks at this location is inexcusably bad. Additionally, all 3 times, the host & servers gave off the attitude & body language that they simply don't want to be there and providing decent customer service was an inconvenience. The kitchen is consistently slow and 2 of the 3 times we've gone, we sat for almost 15 minutes before our non-alcoholic drinks were brought to the table! We won't be giving this location another try. read more

I torn right off stopping at location BEFORE security, but I had the time and it was WORTH IT. Typically I want to get on the other side of security then live in peace knowing it is just eating and flying left on my bucket list for journey. That being said the food court in terminal 4 when you arrive in my mind is your best bet. They have wait times posted so you can get a feel for it. My first reaction is the portions are great size. I opted for the short rib tacos as it seemed like most people had mentioned them (reading up on other posts, insider tip...so basic lol) Still it didn't disappoint, great flavor and they let me swap out to fries with me meal. FRESH/HANDMADE tortillas were the real game changer here and put the tacos over the top. Fries were ok, but man on man. I STUFFED my tacos and I still had enough for another two with guacamole. Back to guacamole and avocado. I went for the Shrimp Ceviche. That was a hit in another review, it was ok. I think the shrimp was fine, but the avocado they had in it I almost needed a knife it was so hard. Waitress was super on it with me and other customers. Nice and relaxed. On the high end price wise, but hey you are at the airport, gonna happen. Worth a stop in. read more

It's one of the last restaurants outside security. The hostess took 7 minutes to even acknowledge me. And then I asked to sit at a high top. And she said fine and did not walk me to the table. I waited another 5 minutes for a touch and went back to the hostess to see if I needed to order at the bar. She said the server would come to me. The bartender hit three tables and finally came to me. Where he proceeded to tell me the table only gets served if two people are there (it's a four top). Three tables in his section all with one person and he is not willing to serve them. I said the hostess said I could sit here and he said 'well, she lied'. Got a table for one in a different location. Ordered a soda and a taco plate. Got my soda. Saw my taco plate go up in the window. The cooks started hollering for the server to come get the plate. No go. The manager who was the expeditor, went to the window, checked his case for something and then realized the taco plate was in the window. The tortillas were crispy and the kale salad warm from sitting under the lamps so long. I suppose the service sucks because they know they are the only full service restaurant any longer this side of security. But the level of service is less than. And the attitude was over the top. Happy Thanksgiving to a really unthankful bartender, a server who tried, cooks who yelled, and a manager who seems to set a low service standard. I get it is a holiday and no one wants to work and those that do seem to work have lower standards... but that is because we as patrons allow it. The Howie burger with havarti cheese and carmelized onions was delicious....so good we're gonna try making it at home! Apparently this burger is only available on the airport menu. However the crispy chicken sandwich wasn't as good. The meat to bread ratio was off (a thinner cut of chicken would work) and it needed more sauce/slaw. The service was friendly albeit a little slow after getting our food. The ambiance was clean and roomy. We'd go back and give it another try as there are lots of menu options. read more

This is my idea of what a restaurant and meals at an airport should be like, and why can't we get more places like this elsewhere? It's got atmosphere, it's got charm (and a large part of that was the hostess who seated us) and it's got great food at reasonable (for airports) prices. There was evidently a miscommunication after we were seated, because it took a while for our first contact by a waitress. Once that was resolved there were no more problems. We opted for a pitcher of white sangria, of which I was wary. White sangria can sometimes be really sweet - theirs was not, though I was not quite sure just how much wine was actually in the sangria mix. The dinners tasted as delicious as they looked. I will argue that for my meal, the rotisserie chicken, the side of "colcannon potatoes" is supposed to have cabbage in it, which was not discernible unless it was really finely chopped and cooked or pureed. The other nice thing about Chelsea's Kitchen is that it's before TSA, so that you can visit it before going to wherever your gate is, regardless of whether it's Terminal 4 or not. read more

Hey! They're opened. I was sat before 10 am. They opened the kitchen at 10. The staff is friendly and efficient. Food is good. Not an extensive menu. But get a look at today's heroes. WORST Caesar Salad I've EVER had in my life! Only positive thing I can say about it is that the romaine lettuce looked "fairly' fresh. *Croutons were like bricks. So hard, I half expected one of them to crack a tooth. * Dressing was a wattery absolutely bland white/yellowish liquid. Even though the very cordial waiter brought me extra dressing, the flavor was worthless. * I've NEVER had a Caesar Salad that lacked ANY parmesan cheese. This one did. I would have taken a photo of this wattery mess and complained to management but did not want to embarass my date. BOTTOM LINE: You can flush $16 down a toilet or buy this disaster at the Phoenix Airport. FYI: I did end my airport stopover with a decent $12 dinner: Flatbread Pizza from Panera. read more

Had 5 hours to kill on Saturday. Wanted to see the penn state Oregon football game on one of their screens. The man behind food prep said yeah it should come on right after Georgia game . no one came to the front to seat me so i sat myself. Sat dodown and ordered a hot tea. Ordered a green chili burger right at end of Georgia game only to find out they can't change the channels. Not what I was told and was the primary reason for picking this place. I ordered side vegetables instead of fries but they brought fries anyway. The server said she would fix and she never did.....never even came back to the table to see if I needed a refill tea or anything. The burger was decent but the green Chiles seemed like bland watery Chiles out of a can. Fries were terrible. Horrible experience. Like so many other reviews, the service was abysmal. read more

I actually really enjoyed the food here. The kitchen and the prep staff were amazing to watch. It was so busy but they all worked as a team. Our server wasn't the friendliest at the beginning but towards the end she seemed to finally smile. I really enjoyed the Shrimp Ceviche, I had them remove the avocados and had it with crackers instead of chips. My husband order the smoked prime rib dinner. I'm not sure if I like the smoked taste on a prime rib but to be honest, all the plates coming out had large portions and looked delicious! read more

This location is pre security in terminal 4 in PHX airport. I work at one of the stores in the same terminal. Unfortunately, I just get into my car for dinner due to time and it's hard to order delivery at the airport. I decided to carry out from here. I was greeted immediately at the hostess stand. They were accommodating with my request. As I was waiting for them to prepare my food. I noticed the dine in customers were enjoying themselves as well. Seated inside you almost forget you're at an airport. With amazing decor inside. I highly recommend. read more

For an airport restaurant I have to say it's pretty darn good. My wife and I had a 6 hour layover with time to kill and were hungry. She had the turkey French dip and I had the crispy chicken. Wanted a nice relaxing lunch before heading home so I stopped by and they sat me right away. I sat there for about 15 min. and NO ONE came to help me. Bartender saw me, 2 different waiters that were in my section saw me, and nothing. After the 20 min mark I got up and walked out as the white female bartender snickered at me with her dumb ass smile. Tried the restaurant week menu and I was not disappointed! The Roasted chicken was definitely the star of the menu! Well...no Prosecco or Champagne so had to settle for a beer...the breakfast was just a basic one...nothing special. Breafast menu limited to 5-6 items, no oroblem. Classic version includes 1/2 english muffin(?) two eggs cooked well, fried potatoes and 3 strips of the thinnest bacon I could ever imagine. Nothing compelling but meets minimum needs. Very cheerful server. read more

Excellent airport meal! One of the tastiest sit down meals I've had in a terminal. Great service - we were immediately seated and the people were so polite, smiley & welcoming it was a bit over the top honestly but when you consider PHX is the "friendliest airport" it clicks. I had the Brussel sprouts salad with white chicken. Oh man was it as fabulous as it looks. I was stunned with the quality of the meal. Fresh veggies, tender, well seasoned chicken, an attentive server who regularly refilled our glasses. Good spot for sure! And so good it makes me want to try their none airport location. I had a short layover in Phoenix so I sat down at Chelsea's Kitchen. Social distancing was enforced and the table set up was a bit odd but what can you do. The didn't have my favorite tequila but the did have something close to it. They do mix a delicious cocktail tho! For food I tried the cheeseburger which was very good but their french fries fantastic. This is a great place to enjoy a pre-flight meal! read more

The rampant stench of mediocrity is at every international airport, and I mean EVERY international airport (list: http://bit.ly/2c4CL6X), but for some reason, Phoenix Sky Harbor has some good eateries should your Uber get you there earlier than you expected or maybe you wanted. With an hour to kill, I decided to enter this expansive restaurant in Terminal 4. I was lured in by the $14 Shredded Kale & Quinoa Salad, which turned out to be a deliciously healthy choice with sunflower seeds, grapes, chopped tomato, and shaved Parmesan, all of it drizzled with lemon juice (photo: http://bit.ly/2npmbl0). So many things went wrong tonight. The host, and the wait staff had zero personality. We ordered tomato basil soup and Caesar salad. Both were so bland! It came with a slice of dry toast. I took an early flight and decided to get some breakfast at Chelsea's Kitchen. As this is an airport venue, the breakfast options are limited but even looking over the menu, it was hard to decide. Everything looked so good! My husband and I ended up ordering the traditional breakfast (eggs, potatoes, protein side and english muffin) and the french omelet. We also ordered bloody marys and asked for extra olives. I also asked for some light cheese over my scrambled eggs and added havarti. Because my request of extra olives and cheese (on my eggs) our server brought over some additional blue cheese stuffed olives - just cause! I thought that was very nice and unnecessary. I appreciate the little things and that wasn't something I expected. Overall, we loved our breakfast! I'm quite picky with my eggs, especially with omelets and I was very impressed with the omelet they made. It was a good ratio of egg, protein and spinach and all the flavors went together very well. A few things to take into consideration, this location is at an airport so the prices are quite high. It's COVID time but I i happened to be traveling in Phoenix, decided to get food for pick up. I ordered the seared tuna taco with no tortilla, double salad but I got the tortilla and a single salad, however I'm kind of glad that they didn't get my order right and gave me tortillas! Everything was so good, the kale salad was amazing, guacamole was fresh and delicious, the tortilla tasted home made and so good, I ended up eating 2 of them, and the red salsa and the yellow dipping sauce were so good too, I was like wow the best tuna taco! This restaurant is outside of security, but inside the terminal. With a long layover, I would much prefer a place like this than battling the hordes inside of the terminal. Much more spacious and a lot less crowded. The food was decent, but not great- I had breakfast though, which is hard to mess up. My biggest complaint was probably the service- while friendly, it was surprisingly on the slow side. At an airport, plenty of people are in a rush so you'd think they'd design it to be a little quicker. read more

Menu is seriously limited during COVID-19. Friends rave about the original Chelsea's Kitchen locations, but this poor airport location + pandemic = not good. Not much on the menu, the burger was a sad sight, soup wasn't much better... and don't get me started on the service, which was a mixture of still good and attentive combined with a mix of extremely COVID-19-weary and indifferent. You have to feel for the staff, especially stuck in an airport all day, but in the end this was not a particularly welcoming or pleasant meal. read more

Honestly I'm surprised I haven't been here before. They had a lot of vegetarian options and it seemed like they were accommodating to every dietary restriction. There may not be overlap for people that are vegetarian and gluten free, but they might have something or an option off menu. Had a very enjoyable time here with friends. Met a friend here who had a 3 hour layover. Not too crowded at 11 am on a Saturday. We were seated quickly near the fireplace. Server approached us quickly. He was super friendly. We ordered drinks but were disappointed to learn that only 3 of the 6 drinks on the special drink menu were available. Bummer. What made up for it? The not to be believed awesome deliciousness of the vegetable tacos and the bomb kale salad. The corn tortillas were perfect. Both were delicious and frankly unforgettable.
