The design the shape everything was exactly what I wanted. The only reason I didn't get five stars is because of the cleanliness. The area could take some sprucing up but overall the machines were clean and the area where your nails were actually done are clean. It's the area around it that needed some cleaning. Such as the floor being swept, organization of materials on the back counters.

Somehow, my son and I ended up getting talked into "guy manicures" too--and I'm glad we did. Mary runs the show, and she and her team were fantastic. Everyone was friendly, upbeat, and professional, and the whole place had a very relaxed, welcoming feel. While we were there, I saw several customers come and go, and everyone seemed genuinely happy with their experience. I had never had a manicure before, but I work with my hands a lot--both outdoors and at work, where I wear gloves constantly. I didn't realize how nice it would feel to have everything cleaned up and smooth, especially without hangnails catching on my gloves or getting torn. Great service, excellent workmanship, and a really positive atmosphere. Keep up the great work, Mary. We had a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely recommend Borgata to anyone.

I've been going to this nail salon for a while and usually have a decent experience, but…read moreunfortunately, this visit really missed the mark--and it wasn't the first time I've had an issue with this particular nail tech. He seems to always be rushed and not neat. My pedicure was great. The woman who did it was kind, professional, and took her time. I really appreciated that part of my visit. However, the experience with Peter, who did my acrylic full set, was disappointing and uncomfortable. As soon as he sat down, he made a comment about my hair, asking if I "didn't feel like doing it today." For context, my hair was styled in a natural curly, half-up, half-down look. When I let him know that curly doesn't mean undone, he doubled down and suggested I try straightening it. The comment was rude and unnecessary, but I chose not to make a scene and let him continue. The nail service itself was not much better. I asked for an almond-shaped French tip set. He cut me with the drill, and when I pointed out that one nail was crooked, I had to push for him to fix it. While painting, the white polish ended up all over my fingers and even on my wrist--and he made no attempt to clean it until I asked. The finished nails are lumpy with uneven shapes, and the French tips have no crispness or precision. Overall, they look rushed and messy. When I mentioned my dissatisfaction at the front desk, I said I was happy with my toes but not with the nail service. The response? Silence. No apology, no concern, just complete indifference. At this point, I think it's time to find a new salon. I don't expect perfection every time, but I do expect professionalism, respect, and basic attention to detail.

As a woman of color, I've noticed a pattern where I'm not treated with the same courtesy as other customers. For example, on several visits, I've seen non-colored customers immediately offered water when they walk in, while I have to ask -- and sometimes wait a long time -- to receive the same courtesy. Today, I brought my daughter in for a pedicure, and again, no one offered her a drink until I asked. The owner told me "give me a few minutes," but then new customers of another race walked in and were immediately offered refreshments. When I eventually asked again, I was able to get water myself and gave it to my daughter. The owner then came up to check what I had taken, which left me feeling uncomfortable and singled out. This kind of treatment has happened to me more than once, and it's disappointing. I truly wish the salon would treat all customers with the same level of respect and hospitality.

Everything at this salon has an add charge that was not explained or noted prior to the service. So it is what it is.. is the attitude. The techs were mostly fine-- though both girls needed their finger fixed multiple times. The designs were not done correctly, it was a whole thing. There wasn't much that could physically be done to make it right because it was closing and the techs left. But the guys at the front desk were less than helpful and basically tried to convince me the cost of the supplies is what warranted the +$15 +$20 +$10. A $5 discount for an outing that was suppose to be memorable for two little girls was ruined when they couldn't execute the SIMPLE vision and then the solution was "it is what it is". If you come here on the regular, I applaud you for navigating the system. As a new comer we are definitely a once and never again.

I've been going to this salon for four years, so I'm disappointed to write this. Their prices have…read moreincreased, and I expected better work for what I paid. I went in for a shellac pedicure and a short almond builder-gel French manicure. The services came to $164, and I paid $187 including tip. I was told the pedicure was $65, so the manicure came to about $100. My complaint is about the manicure, not the pedicure. Jennifer was great. During the first attempt, Kimmi cut my thumb. The nails were also different lengths, the base looked clear near the bottom, and I could see white spots through the pink. I raised my concerns during the appointment. The owner stayed late to adjust the nails and added tips to two that were too short. I arrived around 5:30 p.m. and left at almost 8:30 p.m. I waited, talked with her, and still tipped because I appreciated her effort. After the adjustment, I was still unhappy with the finished set. The builder gel looks thick and bulky from the side, the shapes and lengths don't look consistent to me, and the French tips vary. I'm posting photos of the first attempt and clearer photos of the finished nails taken four days later. When I called back, I was told they had already tried their best. The owner said she had asked me how things looked throughout the appointment. I appreciate the time she spent trying to fix them, but being polite and tipping didn't mean I was happy with the result. After four years as a customer, I expected a cleaner manicure at this price.

It is extremely important to book correctly, if you want a detailed design you have to book "Nail design" and if you have nail removal you also have to include that when booking. To account for the time you need. If you book incorrectly, the nail tech wouldn't know until next client arrives and then they rush or switch you to another nail tech to finish. Although they are still very kind about it, it is clear you have to book correctly. I came for birthday nails in late April and expected it to be pricey but didn't realize nail asking for a 3-D nail design increase price significantly. Normal French tip charge at Adore is $20, so anything additional like polka dots or another color is added on the $20. Total nail design was $60, gel x short is $70, nail removal $10 = total of $140 for nails alone. Although I realize you are paying for art, for their time, dedication, expertise and their patience to design the nail how you want. It is pricey in my opinion. I would go back but only for solid color or French tip only.
