Avoid. I tried to use a two-for-one coupon here and they refused to honor it, blaming the coupon company. The kicker is, typically Online coupon companies require an owners approval and signing off before they post a coupon. Bare minimum any business owner with a shred of acumen would do the checking on their own as soon as the coupon was posted. The food tasted okay-ish, but it was pretty cold comfort at that point if you know what I mean. Management made no effort to apologize or come to some kind of reasonable solution. For an Indian place in Surrey, this is the place to go for a good quiet business meeting. It's not really all Indian (think more Hindu than Sikh), as the feel to it is some Pakistani as well. You will like it too if TV's are your thing, there must've been a half-dozen or so yet it's not a bar atmosphere. A cozy medium-size restaurant, with nice booths on the left. And a private section in the back too. Was here only for a casual biz meeting, ordered the mango lassi which passed the test, and surprise surprise, their specialty is their kebabs. They offer delivery for most of Surrey, which is amazing in itself, albeit with a high minimum $35. At these prices, that's a heckuva lot of food for 1 person lol. Kinda hard to find, especially if you're coming the opposite way as there's an island in this busy road, so you have to make a U, beside some car dealership. We love to dine at Chef's Kebab before or after we take advantage of the wonderful produce at TWO EE's Farm. The lunch special is 7.99 I believe and it includes: Soup, a small salad, naan, rice and your chosen dish. I love the fact that the menu is laid out in an organized fashion and there are plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. I like starting out my meal with a Vegetable Samosa order, which comes with 2 samosas, 2 different kind of chutneys and a small bowl of Chana Masala. They are exceptionally made with a balanced flavour and artisan quality. The service is good and the wait staff is very prompt. The only reason I have missed one star is because visually, it needs work. The paint at the bar is chipping away and the exterior of the business has "Chef's kebab now open" spray painted in a very hasty, unprofessional manner. If they maintained it a little bit better and fixed it up it would earn that one extra star. That's all that's missing! read more

Best Indian food joint in the area. Their kababs are specifically very yummy!. We used their services for our wedding reception event. It was a huge success. Everyone liked their Chikken afghani tikka, fish pakora and mutton curry. Really very mouth watering. Chef Viren needs a special mention here. He is very accomodating of customer's taste and needs. We had the " Malai chicken tika" and Kadhai lamb curry with Garlic naan. We asked for mild spice but we will definitely go for medium spicy next time as we like things hot from time to time. I love this place! I've eaten here over 10 times in the past 6 years. It also helps that my sister lives walking distance away from it so whenever I'm visiting I have to get my Chef Kebab fix! The last time I ate here was for lunch and wow it is good value! You can upgrade your naan to a cheese filled naan for a couple bucks and it's worth the upgrade but it is very filling so you may have to pack some leftovers. Over the past 6 years I've seen this place change quite a bit. It's latest look definitely makes you feel very welcoming and the booths, tables, and TV entertainment are good for business lunches, family dinners, and date night. The chef/owner is the most amazing part of this place though. He doesn't use the same base curry gravy and make different dishes out of it. Instead he makes each dish unique with the appropriate spices, base, seasoning, etc. He is classically trained and you can tell by the quality of his food. You can't get better quality Indian cuisine in all of Surrey! And when you factor in the affordable prices this place can't be compared to any other Indian restaurant! read more

I have been to this place for lunch on several occasions however after my experience last week, I will think twice about returning. I'm not sure if there is new owners but they have change there position in the lunch menu. I usually order the parantha lunch special and get a second parantha usually at a cost of $2-3 dollars. Now the policy has changed and they bill you for a whole second lunch plate ($8). It didn't help the server that was helping me spoke no English or Punjabi , I think she she spoke Thai. I sent the second plate back and I heard the manager yell at her. Another server came and told me they will charge me $8 for an additional piece of indian bread. I told her that was ridiculous and to stop wasting my time. As a courtesy they gave second piece for free but I will Never go back. I was shocked at how the manger yelled a waitress that seemed to be new. Be ware if your eating here, appears to be under new management - Check your bill as they are actively ripping people off. As well the food was not as it tasted a month ago, the quality was different. read more

Outstanding food. We had the jackfruit kebab, makai kofta, garlic naan and rice. We ordered the jackfruit kebab with a lot of trepidation but were blown away by the awesome taste of the dish. The koftas were soft and full of tasty filling underneath the potato layer. The sauce in which the koftas were swimming was absolutely tasty which our child ate with great relish. Great neighbourhood find! Very unassuming from the outside but the food was delicious!

We went there, I with my 2 sons, today because I've been reading the reviews here and wanted to try this place out. We came in around 8:20 pm, the restaurant was about half full. We were directed to one of the booth tables and that was the last interaction we had with staff. We sat for 15 minutes with no one offering us a menu, no one asked if we've been helped, or even offered us water. The wait staff just kept passing by our table not even glancing in our direction. We left after 20 minutes when the big table right next to us was given a menu even though they were obviously still waiting for the rest of their party to arrive and nowhere near ready to order. I tried to get a couple of wait staffs' attention but they barely glanced in my direction. The staff that saw us leave looked like they couldn't care less. I can't say anything about the food as I never got the chance to try any but I can say their service leaves a lot to be desired. I don't see any reason to give this place another try. read more

I am not an expert on Indian food at all, but I know what I like and this one was just average. I had a lunch lamb kabob special for $13. Came with a small salad (think garnish size), green yogurt dip in a small dipping sauce cup, and a bigger cup of curry sauce. The main part was ground lamb kabobs on rice and naan bread. It was a bit expensive for what I got. The sauces were just as good as others I have tasted and the naan was very good. The kabobs were not what I expected - expecting chunks for some reason - and a bit chewy, but ok. My friend likes this place and took me here. I guess I was expecting better since my friend, who is East Indian, likes this place + the reviews seem high. It wasn't much different then other similar restaurants nearby, and more expensive. Think I like the Indian food buffets better for the same price. read more

One of the best Indian restaurants at an attractive price point. While I was working in the area I used to frequent it quite often for their lunch specials and other family gatherings. They are fairly isolated and don't appear to receive a lot of foot traffic but don't let that stop you from eating at this hidden gem. read more

Hidden gem in Surrey. I am a frequent visitor from SoCal. I have been to most of the Indian restaurants in this area. This one stood out.
