The boys and I came in on Tuesday evening and found out it was $10 butter chicken and naan night! The staff were friendly and efficient, each table is supplied with a "call button" to call your server. In addition to the butter chicken, we ordered goat curry, lamb seekh kebab, smoked eggplant bharta, garlic naan, and steamed rice. The bone-in butter chicken was amazingly tender and served in a flavourful, creamy sauce. The goat curry was wonderfully seasoned and falling off the bone. Although a bit on the spicy side, the eggplant was perfectly complemented with the garlic naan and rice. The lamb seekh kebab was more like giant meatballs and came with a refreshing mint chutney. Don't judge this unassuming restaurant by its exterior, the interior is actually tastefully decorated. We will be back! read more

We never come into Surrey but had to run an errand so of course, we stopped to get some Indian eats. Found Chefs Kebab while searching for cheap lunch specials. We dropped in on a Wednesday afternoon (around 1:00pm) and it was about a third full. The inside is modern but their seat layout is slightly bizarre/tight. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. Sad they didn't ask us about spice level. The lunch menu is split into lunch special meal, lunch special combo, specials and drinks/desserts. Prices are reasonable ranging from $5.00 to $12.99. - Masala chai ($2.50) - this was disappointing. Weak flavour and they charged us more than what's on the menu. - Lamb seekh kebab meal ($12.99) - meals come with pulao rice, butter sauce, salad, mint chutney and naan. You get 8 pieces of lamb kebabs; good bite to them. The mint chutney was excellent to dip the lamb in. Naan is a perfect amount for one person. The butter chicken sauce was a nice touch as it accompanied the naan perfectly. Sauce was more tomato based. - Palak paneer combo ($8.99) - combos come served with lentil, rice, salad and naan. Lentil soup was standard but healthy. Flavour wise, the palak paneer was underwhelming. No spice, no punch of flavour. It was okay but unmemorable. Average food at CK. I doubt I'd come all the way to Surrey for a return visit. read more

When you enter ,you are greeted by the people at the bar as its in the entrance. They will make you seated and ur server will take ur order. Absolutely delicious! My guy and I live in Blaine right on the Canadian/US border, and every time we go to BC this is a must stop. They have a good menu, lots of great choices. I always order the butter chicken and my man loves the masala. The portions are just right size, we always leave full but never stuffed. The condiments are so delicious. The naan is freshly baked, I order the plain naan and dip it in the condiments or butter chicken sauce, yum!! The staff is friendly and helpful if you have any questions about the menu. And have no interest in expanding there buiness by offering Uber eats And there not even on skip the dishes. They could easily expand there sales by 35% with this alone. Especially being at the edge of town. They do well even though they have little Buiness experience and lose a lot of Buiness. Now for there food. Most of there dishes are no different than so many places in town. There kebabs are good not amazing just better than anything else in town. But not as good as Manchester England. Someone could easily take there bread and butter buy opening up near them and doing even better kebabs and making it easier for customers to use skip the dishes etc. Come in to to the 21st century. read more

This restaurant serves some yummy lunch specials. You do not find typically find kebabs at an East Indian restaurant in the Lower Mainland. I have also tried the chicken curry and chana masala combos and both are very good as well. I ended up taking my family there for on a second visit. Service was courteous and food arrived fairly quickly. The restaurant was clean and only a few tables of customers were dining there during the weekday when I stopped by. The only downside is the prices are similar to East Indian lunch buffets if you do not care for the kebabs. I wanted to order some veggie samosas to bring to work and was quoted $1 each. Usually, nearby places charge 50 cents a piece so I did not buy any. Otherwise, this restaurant is a good option if you are in the area. read more

This is probably one of my favourite Indian restaurant in Greater Vancouver area. Excellent customer service and amazing food. My friend and I order a small salad, one butter chicken, one chicken tikka, one garlic naan, and one butter naan. The portion is perfect for both of use to shared. I love sweet items so I highly recommend the butter naan. It is a must order. It is a bit hard to find so slow down when you are near by. For this visit I tried: Bhindi Masala (okra tossed with onion, tomato and tangy spices). Lamb Vindaloo (hot good delicacy lamb cooked in roasted spices and gravy). Palak Paneer (farmer's cheese cooked in garlic and cumin spinach purée). Chefs Special Dal Makhani (black lentils cooked in creamy tomato base sauce. Stuffed Naan (spinach, onion, potato, and cheese). The food is well seasoned and the portion sizes are shareable. This is a great place to share a family meal. Checked this place out on a whim last night because my partner's and my dinner plans fell through. We ordered the lamb kebabs, chicken vindaloo, eggplant bharta, with tandoori roti and stuffed naan. We really enjoyed the lamb kebabs - just bursting with flavour! The stuffed naan was very good as well. The curries were good but we were lacking a kick and asked for some hot sauce. We've tried the lunch combo they had since I guess 11.30 or so and it was excellent. Not a lot of food, though but it was very good and worth the visit. Their chutney is awesome and I was impressed. The service is attentive and nice. You won't be disappointed. Weird location between parking lots of cars on sale, the outside does not invite to get in. However, the place is quite big and clean. The service is fast and correct. Many options for a quick lunch, the food is good for the price. Only can complain about the pulao rice, which was just warm and looked like reheated. You get great tasty food with good portions if you were to eat there however several time s my takeout orders failed impress me.
