Great quality food and baked goods! Service was fast and friendly. Ambiance was cute and comfortable.

Beautiful pastries which I have yet to try. This is based on the raspberry vanilla buttercream cake which was absolutely gorgeous in presentation - the icing and ribbons of shaved raspberry/vanilla on top, slicing through you can see the beauty/work inside. And every bite was full of moist vanilla cake, with creamy but not too heavy vanilla icing and raspberry preserve. This and Mirabelles are my favorite VT bakeries. The rest of the menu and pastries looked superb too!

A MUST stop for a delicious breakfast, prices are a bit higher, but so worth ever penny. When you walk in you will need to place your order first and then they sit you down. They have a children's menu, the inside is super clean and cute, they also have outside sitting. We went twice and noticed the menu changed or perhaps it only changes on the weekend. Plenty of free parking this is a hidden gem for sure.

Such an awesome spot for breakfast & brunch! I've dined here a couple of times and the food is consistently delicious. Always get some bakery items to go after my lovely brunch.

If you are in Burlington VT area and not tasting these awesome meals from Chef's Corner, you are seriously missing out this hidden gem. Love their Egg Benedict (especially salmon one) but everything else is truly delicious. We tried many breakfast places in Burlington area but nothing can't even come close to this place. Lunch menu selections are great and their to-go menu options are incredible as well. Pastries are out of this world, too. Every item is perfect - not too sweet, not too salty, not too greasy. I wish I can learn how to cook from them. :) Highly recommend this place!

Let me start by saying that this was by far one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The best thing about it was how soft and fresh the bread was. The cappuccino I ordered was prepared well and they even had milk substitutes which was great. The dining room was clean & spacious which allowed us to fully enjoy our breakfast. The cashier was friendly and cheerful which added to the wonderful atmosphere this place has to offer. I would love to return and try some of the other food on their menu.

The salmon eggs Benedict is my favorite. But If you want to justify cake for breakfast, I strongly suggest the French toast

The cashier and the 'cook' were putting the sandwich on a plate when they saw me. They both glared at me for daring to do this. Instead of bringing the sandwich to me the cashier wanted to know what I wanted. I should have said 'my sandwich.' i Just asked if it was ready. She then asked if I wanted something else, like I had no business there. I said no and took the sandwich. I ordered a BLT, which was barely toasted, and it tasted like a lettuce and tomato sandwich. When I opened it I found what amounted to 2 strips of the thinnest, dry, broken up slices of bacon imaginable. The cup of cheddar soup was tiny. I was still hungry 30 minutes after I left and got some fast food. They probably ate most of what was supposed to go in the sandwich. Disgusted by the nasty attitude and RIP OFF of $15.00. I could have gotten a nice meal for that amount at the nearby Texas Roadhouse. A couple days later I called to complain and the Gardeners Supply manager wanted to field the call even though they don't manage the cafe, saying the manager was a 'close friend' of hers and she would relay my complaint. When I explained what happened her response was she would let him know. I asked if that was it and she said yes. It wasn't until I challenged that did she take my name and number. Both places will be sunk before too long, especially now that Gardens Alive bought out Gardeners. The buyer for GS must have changed because it's all mediocre goods now. Don't waste your time and money.

When we arrived, the parking lot was busy, which felt like a great sign. It was a Saturday morning, so there was a short wait to order and to grab a table, but the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The interior is eclectically decorated and has a cozy, fun vibe that reminded us of the coffee shop in the Friends TV show. We ordered a brewed coffee and an iced coffee--both were excellent--and really appreciated the option of Vermont maple syrup and oat milk. For food, we ordered a regular breakfast sandwich and the Forager vegan breakfast sandwich. We were especially impressed to see a vegan breakfast option on the menu, as many places don't cater to vegans at all, particularly for breakfast. Both sandwiches were delicious, and it was great to feel so thoughtfully accommodated. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would happily recommend Uncommon Coffee to friends. We just wish it were closer to home so we could visit more often!

I was not sure what to expect from this flavor combo but it was really good and balanced. The latte was smooth and perfect amount of creaminess as well. I really enjoyed it. The next day I ordered an iced latte with vanilla from Essex Resort which uses the beans from here and that latte tasted great as well!

All cookies are made fresh right behind the counter, the kitchen is open and very clean looking. Flavors change weekly, some popular core flavors like sugar cookie or chocolate chip do stay on the menu as more permanent items. The cookies are very big, for almost $5 a pop - these are on the pricey side but make a nice treat. Ideal for special occasions or for gifting since they come in a beautiful box. We tasted a peanut butter chocolate cookie and a triple berry oatmeal variety - both were very good, warm, extremely soft and mushy. If you like underbaked, cakey, ooey gooey style of cookies, rather than a crisp, these will be for you. They are however very oily - fingers were glistening after eating these! The flavor of the cookie batter itself is somehow not amazing, they're good but there's some richness missing. The toppings are what make the cookie stand out. I wish they had a wider range of flavors constantly on display, having to wait week for week without knowing what is in store can be annoying. The price point is also too high for me so I can't see myself coming regularly.
