I've been coming here since they opened. Occasionally I'll sit and eat, though most of the time its a morning to-go order. I'll give them 5 stars for consistency. The staff are always so polite and friendly. The breakfast sandwiches are always so delicious. Many options for vegetarians, or you can have the most delicious bacon you'll ever eat on a sandwich. The rolls are fresh baked in house, and certainly tasty, though I think they'd be better a bit smaller. The baked goods aren't extravagant in terms of uniqueness, but they hit the basics exceptionally well. Blueberry muffins are always moist, and the morning roll with the sugar and butter is so light and fluffy. I like that they also offer savory options in their herb scones. I find their menu prices to be quite reasonable. Most baked goods are around $3, with some less. Breakfast sandwiches start at $4 and the $6 ones are well worth it. In all fairness, I've never been nearby for lunch so I can't comment on that. But WCS is delicious, friendly and affordable. I was concerned for them when a competitor opened nearby, but they've weathered it and I know that I'll always choose WCS for a simple breakfast or pastry treats for the office. read more

The service is abysmally slow to the point where it took over half an hour from when my sister put in her order of a breakfast burrito, and a breakfast sandwiches, a croissant, and one of the almond croissant to be served. Which mind you an almond croissant is simply a day old croissant that is split in half and filled with almond past and rebaked. They had been out of coffee and almond croissants that day and I don't know about the ambiance for that day. However I do know that the croissant we got was not fresh it was stale and the didn't have an airy flaky texture that true butter laminated croissants are supposed to have. It tastes like they used a cheap subpar butter and have burnt the croissant. The breakfast burrito was also badly wrapped and leaking everywhere and had for some god awful reason been filled with hard boiled eggs instead of scrambled eggs which only made it harder to handle. read more

Super cute cafe with friendly staff. I got a small maple syrup latte for $5.50 plus tipped and was seriously bummed because it was a letdown--no foam, burnt-tasting coffee, almost acidic and overwhelming maple flavor. But everyone else in the place had food and all of it looked great, and it was packed, leading me to think that maybe the food is much better than the drinks. read more

Great little cafe in the Williston area. We had a breakfast sandwich which was tasty and a green tea latte. They make their own Chai, and after having been to India and making my own, I wasn't a fan of theirs. I couldn't identify the taste- like a sour floral? I rarely bring anything back for an exchange- and the woman at the register was VERY kind and patient and after I realized the house made wasn't for me, she made me a green tea latte like my partner had. So THANK YOU to the woman who served us- I would have gotten her name for a shout out- but I know some people are sensitive. It is WONDERFUL to know that customer SERVICE still exists! Came here for lunch on a Wednesday. Got the Caesar salad with chicken which was pretty large and the dressing was good. Price was very reasonable at $14. Also had an iced tea. Delicious, fresh and crave-able! Everything is made daily (my kind of place). Uber flaky buttery croissants (mmm, the almond was outstanding), the cookies, oh, the decadent cookies, we tried all three. I have never had a breakfast burrito like WC Shop creates, they are to die for (drooling over the Thai chili Mayo with roasted peppers and onion). I'm a sandwich gal and thick sandwich bread (made in house) is a "thing" in Vermont, the Turkey Bacon w/ Garlic Herb Mayo did not disappoint. The pastry and the people were just made my day, great friendly staff, I was getting a little bit lost in the area in the rainy day, and they were so nice to offer wifi for me to search the direction. Oh yum! I found this place in yelp when I was looking for a good breakfast spot on our way from Burlington to Stowe. Since we have our dog along on vacation, outdoor seating is a must these days. We didn't anticipate a shop amidst a strip plaza in the suburbs but don't let that keep you away. The breakfast sandwiches are flavorful and unique. I ordered the special which included caramelized onions and spinach and bacon and garlic herb mayo. Wow. The husband was able to order his sandwich on a bed of spinach without the bread. We also ordered a cinnamon croissant muffin to split. She said they were the most popular and we quickly tasted why. A great place to pop in whether you are a local or traveling through. read more

Stopped by Williston Coffee Shop while staying locally on vacation. My wife and I both got the "The All American" breakfast. The staff was accommodating with substitutions, we swapped the home fries for fruit. While they charged us for the substitution, the fruit was very fresh and delicious and the serving size was generous. The place was very cute, table both inside and out, the pictures on yelp don't do it justice. Not inexpensive but the generous portions and ambiance made for a nice breakfast. We will return on our next visit to the area. read more

The staff here is super knowledgable about the sourcing and making of all of the ingredients for their food. And it shows--it's never not been delicious. My co-workers & I come here at least 3 times a week, and I don't think any of us have been dissatisfied yet. And yesterday, when they were training someone new who forgot to put my ticket in line to be made, the senior staff member came by and walked my lunch over with a complementary maple scone. My friend and I went to this shop the other day and the espresso was smooth and carried a slight sweetness. It also was not overly strong. She ordered and iced maple latte however there was honey put in it instead. This was not a pleasant surprise however the espresso made up for it. My husband and I came in here for breakfast and to get some work done. Breakfast was really yummy - I had a breakfast sandwich with garlic mayo and bacon and some other stuff, and it was delicious. My husband had a ham, egg and cheese and while flavor was okay, croissant was a bit dry. I like that they make all their stuff in house, so thumbs up for freshness. Two stars for great customer service, and an additional star for great coffee. I'm afraid that's all I can give this place. I've enjoyed the coffee preparations at WCS since they opened. After a visit there for breakfast today, which was somewhat negative, I felt compelled to write a review. It was the first time either my companion or I had ordered a meal here. Or what I thought would be a meal. I don't know if it's the fact that I'm not a Vermont native and perhaps it's a "Vermont thing", but I find it terribly disappointing when I order a breakfast sandwich that doesn't come with a side dish. I've lived in eight states, traveled the world, and eaten breakfast everywhere from diners to truck stops to the world's finest hotels, but only in Vermont am I learning that breakfast seems to often be A La Carte. And the funny thing is, this isn't consistent among Vermont establishments. For instance, at Papa Nick's in Hinesburg, the breakfast sandwich comes with a huge side of home fries and fruit. And it costs less than WCS charges! Nowhere on the WCS menu does it say something like "check out our options for side dishes to compliment your sandwich" or something to that effect. That's all it would take for them to make a difference; apparently that's too much to be expected. So I receive my sandwich with a boring single slice of orange with it. Yawn. Not filling and not especially good paired with a Kaiser roll that's topped with all kinds of seeds. Which is a perfect transition to my next point...the fact that the seeds are there isn't mentioned on the menu. My companion today happened to be very allergic to caraway seeds, which appeared to be on the roll. In addition, there was no choice of cheese, and my companion can't stand the American cheese that was on the sandwich. Cheddar was ordered, on a different kind of roll, and that was that. If you order food here, make sure to ask exactly what you're getting and tell the staff if you want to change that. Otherwise you may be disappointed. But the employees are great in all ways and so is the coffee! read more

Coffee and sandwiches here are delicious! The sandwiches (breakfast and lunch) are big and filling so you really get your money's worth. However, the service is a little slow. Everyone is friendly and wonderful but it takes quite a bit to get your sandwich after you order it. This isn't a problem if you have time to be patient, but I always want to come here on my lunch break and find myself in a bit of a hurry to eat once I'm done waiting. read more
