The store is located and connected with the UVM Bookstore but they have their own entrance. If you are into the fancy schmancy drinks like latte, expresso, etc, they can make them for you here. Other items such as cold drinks and snacks are also available. The daily Ice Tea is quite popular. It's very cozy and comfortable in the cafe as there are several comfy sofa chairs which makes it a nice relaxing place to hang out and meet people. Bring your own travel mug and pay for the price of a refill instead of full price.

This is solely for maximum flavor). They buy Vermont Artisan coffee, which is typically a darker roast than what the roast level actually says. They usually have at least a medium and a dark for the roast levels of the carafe coffee. The baristas are mostly students, so it's hit or miss with the service (hence, a four star rating). They also sell pastries from local cafes (I believe Mirabelle's and/or Klingers), and I've never had one that was stale, so it's a safe bet to get those. It's probably the most expensive cafe on campus, but if you want to splurge this is the place to go.

Ordered a simple latte with oat and maple flavor. Usually a latte either has too much milk, too sweet, or plain. This one amazed me. Honestly never had the perfect ratio of milk to coffee. The server was observed with another patron explaining his recommendation which made me definitely trust him and his level of expertise ~ they seem to offer tours and tasting but it seems like for the summer months, it's mostly mid week. Maybe a new schedule is pending weekends in fall/winter seasons? great pick me up for the rest of day activities ~ prompt service, quick and kind. This location has a tasting curated section in the front and cafe in the back of the red farm building. Perfect Ac, seating inside and outside~ Get your perfect coffee ~ prices are a tad high but I thought it was worth it. Not an everyday caffe but a fun trip coffee to get your fill of energy~

Rating: 4.0 Stopped…read moreby for coffee on the way to a hike. It's a coffee shop, cafe and also makes their own coffee beans. We stopped by the cafe on the back side of the building. There is parking in the back area. We parked and went inside. It's a nice space with some wooden counter and chairs with large window bringing in sunlights. We went to the counter and placed our order. They offer coffee as well as tea and some original drinks as well. I got an iced latte with maple syrup. Ice latte was pretty good. Good coffee flavor with hint of creaminess of milk and maple syrup sweetness. It was a lovely drink. They also sell some coffee beans and blend as well. We were able to but they offer tours and some classes as well if you are interested in coffee and its fabrication and roasting process. Service was good and quick. Bunch of younger people were working and seems like some were being trained. Overall it's a solid coffee shop. It's on the pricier side but they are good coffee and seem to be knowledgeable.

I got the Dirty Earl (earl grey, espresso, milk, cold foam, and zest) and it was such a bright and refreshing drink. The buttermilk biscuit sandwiches were also delicious - soft and buttery, you would never know they are gluten free. The kimchi was a unique add-on option, the pop of acid cuts through the richness of the biscuit. Definitely check out their pastry display case, too! It changes a bit day to day so we were able to try out quite a few different offerings across our two visits. There are only a few seats at the counter inside, but there are some picnic benches outside for you to enjoy your goods. Worth the small venture outside of downtown!
