To the fine young lady who recommended beans for my espresso. - I am forever grateful ! This place packs a punch ! My first time at this place and I am now a forever customer !! The freshness of the beans is amazing !

Awesome cozy coffee spot! The people working were very friendly and helpful in helping us choose our drinks. There was someone using the coffee roaster and that was interesting to watch. They had a selection of pastries too.

The best coffee in town! Don't even waste your time or money going anywhere else. Everything in the shop is gluten free! Highly recommend both the waffles and their breakfast sandwich on a biscuit. My in laws typically don't like anything gluten free and said it was one of the best they've ever had even before knowing it was gluten free! The coffee was amazing and we went back several times during our stay in Stowe!

I searched for a coffee shop near the motel that I stayed at. A five star review less than 3 miles from me? - I had to go check it out and see if it lived up to the hype. My answer: YES. Brand were being roasted as I was there, attesting to the freshness of the roasted brands. I spoke briefly to the roaster, who was very nice, as was the rest of the staff. To my surprise, they had more food than the pastries that I expected. I had an egg sandwich, which can be customized with meat and various sauces or jams. The sandwich was delicious, and just the right size for a quick, fortifying breakfast. As an added surprise, I was informed afterwards that the biscuit is gluten-free. I won't have know! They also sell roasted beans in 12oz. Bags. If you like great coffee, you should come here and get it at the source. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Prices are reasonable as well.

Going off of my friend's experience. They roast the beans on-site! A massive menu of specialty coffee including ceremonial grade matcha. She got an oatmilk latte and was impressed. I was impressed by the reasonable prices (see photo). The staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The shop is clean. If you are in this area in Vermont, you musmust try this wonderful little family owned coffee!

Great coffee spot in stowe along route 100 featuring pour overs and espresso. I tried a Stowe Joe medium roast and it was delicious. The owners are super friendly and passionate about coffee. Will definitely return and I recommend this spot for people who are really into good coffee.

Outdoor sign - A person is holding a paper cup of coffee with latte art in front of a sign for The Roastery, a coffee shop located in Stowe, Vermont. The sign features the business name and logo, with additional signage indicating craft coffee. The background shows an outdoor setting with a gravel area, some trees, and a building, under a clear blue sky.

Loved this placed! Service was very friendly. She was alone for there was a little wait but the coffee was delicious! We got a caramel latte and cold brew with cold foam.

A group of five individuals, including a woman, a man, a young girl, and two other adults, are gathered closely together for a selfie in an indoor setting. The background shows warm lighting and visible pipes, suggesting a casual or social environment. The people are smiling and appear to be enjoying the moment.

Truly stoked to be able to meet with Jordan, Kaylee, Sadie, Arturo and their team! We were on our way back from Quebec and Jordan was really generous to let us stay overnight in their driveway. There was a tasting the Sunday evening we arrived (it was sold out) but we were able to connect with with Jordan and Kaylee that evening and Arturo the next morning. Real passionate people! I'm a true coffee snob and can say the same about my better half. Arturo made some shots of their newest beans, and the flavor is just very full and fruity, quite a departure from the typical dark blends. Such a nice place, even though it's thousands of miles away from our place out west

Pour over menu - The menu lists specialty coffee drinks and teas, including honey drop, cherry dream, baby blossom, blueberry crisp, genesis, and Wush options. Prices range from $5 to $20, with descriptions of ingredients and flavors. The menu is printed on a clear plastic sheet with decorative leaf illustrations, placed on a dark countertop.

Where do I even begin... I'm from Portland Oregon. Saying I'm a coffee snob is a whole other thing. I like my jammy, fruit forward, light/med roast, single origin natties!!! yeah that snobby. My wife is the crack head that balances the weight to water ratio to make you the best black cup of coffee you've ever had. When I walked in here and caught the aroma. I knew I was done for. Then the pour over list hit me! Oh no! Not a spot I want to try everything! I'm only here once! Lol. The blueberry crisp was right up my alley. Literally everything I could have ever wanted! My friend needed up finding the perfect cup for her palate, which was delish! I don't need more beans, but I bought them anyway! Love supporting local and small shops! If you're at Stowe or Smugglers, make the detour to this location for coffee. You won't be disappointed

This is the only legit espresso place in the area. There's plenty of places that serve coffee on super automatic pushbutton machines with questionable roasts. This is a third wave driven Roastery that happens to have a little retail front where you can get a shot of espresso or an espresso drink or a pour over that's expertly made. No food served.

This place was on our way to our first destination this morning and we said screw it, let's give a try, Ooof!! we would've have a better tasty breakfast at McDonald's for half the cost. Yep!! This place is actually really pricey for the quality of food you get here. I ordered the egg, cheese sandwich on a biscuit (because we always like to try the local restaraunt's biscuits) and I added their maple sausage. I wanted to get an almond croissant as well until I saw a fly in the pastry cabinet just have his way on all the pastries. NOPE!! This was probably one of the worse breakfast sandwiches I have ever had to date. The biscuit itself was hard as a rock, dry and crumbled upon touch. It was lousy as heck. The maple sausage was a thick patty, but small, almost like a quarter size round compared to the size of the biscuit. So for what sandwich and a cup of coffee was around $23. Heck no! Was that even worth it with how bad inflation is these days Not sure how they have such high ratings, but just be warned. You're welcome!

When we travel, which hasn't been often for us, we not only figure out what sightseeing we want to…read moredo and what hotels to stay at, but a huge part of it revolves around the food. Of course it does !! I look at others who deal with food on the fly, meaning they'll just grab something with no aforethought, and I'm thinking... NO f'ing way. I want the scoop on what's good, what isn't, to include meal food, snack-type foods, and my favorite, the sweet factor. Gotta hit local bakery and chocolate shops and gotta know ahead of time where those are and when they're open. As is the case with Vermont, we found A GREAT MANY places either close early (or earlier than we'd prefer) or aren't even open the days we were floating through the various towns. However, Lake Champlain Chocolates was one of the few places that is open seven days a week. Yay, no pressure to beat the clock here. Inviting presentation of beautifully crafted chocolates, and let me tell you, they tasted as wonderful as they looked. We bought and devoured the following: 1. chocolate covered orange rinds - excellent quality chocolate and extremely fresh orange rind. 2. chocolate covered apricots - same excellent chocolate, but SUPER IMPRESSED with how soft and fresh the dried apricot slices were. Really plump and easy to bite into, and the chocolate just melted in our mouths. The BEST I've had !! 3. chocolate caramels - hard to go wrong with these. Delicious... and just the right amount of chew. 4. Hazelnut truffle, champagne truffle, and a piece of toffee - we only bought one of each of these and we're sorry that was all. They were delicious, but only getting one small bite of each wasn't enough. It's difficult to know how much to get; plus we didn't want to overindulge at the beginning of our trip. Now I'm thinking, shoulda overindulged, lol. Oh well. This is a great place to stop if you want something sweet, if you want INCREDIBLY FRESH chocolates, not to mention DELICIOUS chocolates, and I understand that they are really well known for their hot chocolate, too !! However, we were there during an unseasonably hot summer day (according to the locals), so we were vying for nothing but cooling off type things. Anyway, if you're reading this review, and you're in Stowe, GO HERE !!! (They have other locations in other parts of Vermont, too, but this is the one we descended upon.
