So bought some prepared foods at the coop and found Connie's across the street close to a cute little park. They are situated on a corner in a yellow painted Victorian close to a bridge. They have a few tables for indoor dining. I opted mine to go. Connie's is simple and wholesome basics done well. ++. Food is breakfast, lunch and baked treats. I tried their roast beef sandwich on their freshly baked wheat bread and some chips. Drink wise they have a few sodas and ice tea. +++ price is very reasonable. $8.88 for my sandwich and chips and rest of $10 into their tip jar. +++. Service was friendly and prompt. My sammie was made in 10 minutes while they had 2 other customers' orders. 2 ladies worked fast and my sammie was exactly as ordered :-) ++. Parking is street and free. They seem to have many locals. But this is a small town that likely rely on tourists so check them out if you fancy wholesome breakfast options and sandwiches!

Fell apart with a fork, vegetables were cooked spot on, and think they were deep fried mashed potatoes? That or panko covered. Ether way they were like cheese balls that were yummy. Service was excellent. The cashier had the best cheerful smile and attitude. She also served and bused the tables so she was always asking everyone one everything was. Place is inviting, I can only imagine what the vibe is in the morning when they serve breakfast. Probably will pop in when I head out of town to fuel up for the ride home.
