We were staying nearby and in need of breakfast. We took a chance on Milton Diner and were not disappointed! The service was wonderful and all the staff was friendly. Our food was delicious and exactly what we needed. We ended up ordering a second round of pancakes because they were so good. It's a classic, casual diner. Obviously popular with the locals and for good reason.

Pulled off in Milton while taking a ride to the Lake Champlain Islands. Stopped at Milton Diner for breakfast. Very good food and pleasant staff! Really enjoyed the home fries!!

Times are tough these days, I wanted breakfast Sunday morning and didn't feel like driving far so I decided to give Milton diner a try I was very disappointed I got a farmers breakfast (homefries, bacon, and egg scrambled) however I felt it was basically potatoes not every well cut cut and not very flavor. Potatoes were too thick seems to not be cooked all the way, they're kinda hidden under the egg for the photo lol

We usually stop at White River Junction on our way to our annual trip to Vermont but last year we decided to try a local diner and let me tell you we will be stopping in again next week for our breakfast before Canada ! Prices were great portions were MORE than enough. Try the cheesesteak omelette OMG !

Perfect breakfast. Fast service and friendly workers. Also, amazing soft serve icecream or "creamies" at night!

I never thought I'd have a chance to eat a Vermont creemee ever again being vegan, but this place has saved my life! I love that more options are becoming available to those who choose not to contribute to the harm and enslavement of animals. The maple flavor was so yum! And had more of a maple flavor than the regular creemees I used to eat 2 years ago. I will say they do give you quite a lot on the cone. I asked for an X-small and it was still a lot! This place is very generous with the amount of ice cream offered for the price. 10/10 would recommend!!! And I will be coming back to try more flavors!

We got VT Maple Syrup and Chocolate Oreo and both were absolutely to die for, though we both preferred the maple slightly. All 100 (!) of the flavors can be made with the vegan base; however not all fillings/toppings are vegan. The person who helped us was extremely knowledgeable about what would and wouldn't meet our dietary needs (dairy and peanut allergies) which was a pleasant and very appreciated surprise. Def worth the trip for dairy lovers and the dairy-averse alike. Thank you Duke's!!!

The tour as great and Tennessee, our tour guide, did a wonderful job on the tour. The graveyard was the kicker at the end of the 6 minute movie but seeing it in person was worth it. The factory store had a variety of items that I enjoyed where I could shop for family and of course myself. I ended up getting several souvenirs for the family and myself. I loved the shovel scooper for the individual ice cream! The factory was really clean and of course we understood the privacy of the tour and had respect for the workers. At the end of the tour we had a sampling of the mango ice cream, which was delicious! At the ice cream shop, located outside, I ended up getting a honey graham latte ice cream which actually tasted more like a coffee ice cream. Should have done the butter pecan or the mango which was refreshing . There was a place to sit down and enjoy the experience. Overall, this was a Great one time experience and we always wanted to try it as we have visited Hanover for several years.

The $5 tour was cheap enough, and as others have said, it was short, but I didn't mind. You get some intro remarks, a 7-minute video in a theater room, an upstairs view of the ice cream making stages, and then some facts and mystery flavor tasting. That's it! When it's too long, you'll have reviewers who say it was too long. They tell you how long it is---if that time frame is too short, and you're told the time frame, maybe don't book! We had about 30 people on our tour. People weren't even listening to the guide, Zoe, and were just chitchatting. We got some samples to try before the tour and then toward the end they gave some samples of a mystery flavor that you eat with your mouth (no spoons). There's ample parking. There is a "Flavor Graveyard" across from the parking lot, but it was closed because of the massive snow mounds to plow. There is also a gift shop/store where you can buy overpriced hats, shirts, mugs, and other things. Cheap postcards I thought were free were actually $1.50 each. Oh, come on. Because of other planned stops in the area, we had to buy a cooler bag for $12 for the four pints of ice cream we purchased. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and upbeat. Going during the winter months you'll definitely not experience huge crowds.
