Most important, my food was delicious. I had the pesto salmon. Arrived around 7:15 on a Friday and several open tables inside but looked filled up on the outside. I sat at the bar since I was alone. Seemed the dinner rush was slowing down. No desert (only one option). Service was good and friendly. I plan to return.

Street corn fritters and the juniper martini are awesome. Service was great. I'll come back for one of the bigger plates.

The fries were very good and I'm really picky about my fries. Usually don't get them (hence the side salad), but I ate almost half of the hubbies. We are camping at north beach. What a treat this was to just walk from the campsite with the dogs. Great view of the water too. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Thanks for the great experience Beach house.

Our favorite beach side bar! Yes, The Beach House VT ranks…read moreat the top beating out those establishments along the ocean. This high rating is due mainly to the atmosphere, service, and quality of items being served. The location is right at North Beach on Lake Champlain near the North Beach Campground, has about 8 tables and a small tiki bar. It is located right beside the beach's snack bar, but has a very different vibe than a typical snack bar atmosphere. The BH gets busy during the weekends, but at no point are you felt rushed while hanging out. This was amazing, being able to sit back, enjoy the lake view with a beverage, and have not a care in the world. The servers are great and work hard, especially when someone calls off at the last minute. Personable and friendly every single time we visit. Now to the food and drink. They have a nice mixed drink selection along with a well-stocked top shelf bar. The beer menu goes well beyond the mass-produced national brands. A good variety of quality VT craft brews and ciders make up the most of the list (Citizen Cider-the best & 14th Star Tribute-amazing and veteran owned, to name a couple). The food was kicked up versions of typical snack/bar food. The salads were amazing along with the hummus plate. We loved the fresh cut fries and the Margarita Pizza really hit the spot. Portion sizes matched the price and location. My only regret is that the Beach House VT is so far from PA and we only get to Burlington once a year. But when we are in town camping at the North Beach Campground we love to frequent this place and let the stress flow away.

This was mainly due to the great service and delicious meals ordered by each of us in our family of three. Our table was never left waiting and the food was served hot. Our meal choices were varied, including apps such as steak tartar and cheddar ale soup for one and the meatloaf plate and the turkey burger for the others. Everything was made with original flavor additions such as homemade sauces, fresh breads, and unique use of herbs and spices. Lastly, I was told to mention that the hand cut fries were exceptional. Since we visit Burlington often, we look forward to returning to the Farmhouse to try other dishes on their menu or just ordering the same meals since they were so good. We all agreed that this restaurant has definately moved to the top of the list for our next trip to Vt.

A sister restaurant to Foam Brewers!…read more We spent a weekend in Burlington, VT visiting breweries, wine bars, a comedy show, eating, shopping and it was wonderful. Deep City was a recommendation for brunch from a local. It is the sister restaurant to Foam Brewers (right next door). When we walked in there was a small wait but not bad. We headed over to the brewery to grab coffee and to check it out. It is definitely a cool spot. They have a huge selection of beer, a small wine program (who knew) and small bites. Unfortunately they did not have TVs or else we would've come back to watch the football game but we did purchase some beer before heading back over for brunch at Deep City. The menu here is a little more Mexican-forward think Huevos Rancheros, but there was still plenty of items that looked appealing. We split the banana bread with maple walnut cream cheese (to die for) to share as an app which was fresh and delicious. I also ordered a fruit cup which was also good. We then shared their Huevos Verdes which is similar to Huevos Rancheros except it came with a tomatillo salsa. It was good but very sloppy to eat. Overall it was a great experience, and service was phenomenal. A great brunch place while visiting Burlington VT.
