Bought nine years ago at Marcella's. On Thursday, we went to Marcella's and worked with Raffael, Sales Consultant, to replace it. He was excellent! He showed us many comparable models in the showroom including more in the "Special Sale Prices Room." He explained the distinguishing features of each model and was careful to meet our needs. Raphael was PATIENT, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We are very pleased with the refrigerator we decided to buy. He explained the warranty clearly. Checkout was efficient and experienced. Raphael arranged for the new refrigerator to be delivered on Saturday. More reasons to doing business here: The $89. local delivery fee was waived because they are running a Black Friday promotion. Our washing machine had gone to the happy hunting grounds and I had purchased many things from Cocca's in the past so decided to give them another try for a new washer. I was surprised to see that it had been taken over by Marcella's which I knew nothing about. My wife and I were greeted by a representative by the name of Peter Harvey, who was extremely personable and listened to what we wanted. I had done my homework in advance and knew exactly what brands I was interested in. Peter honored my interest in only those brands and proceeded to show us several models that fit the features I was looking for. We did end up selecting one of the models I went in looking for and found Peter to be a great representative not only did he explain all the features, but he showed us a model of the same brand that we wanted that was on a major clearance sale and actually had more features than the one we had actually looked at. In the end, we did end up purchasing the clearance model and there was an accessory that went with it and we got a price and I didn't particularly like the price so I asked them to do better and without hesitating Andrew, the customer service manager there took $100 off the price that I didn't like Sometimes you just have to ask the question. Andrew was really great about it. He didn't give us any attitude to make it look like he was doing us a favor. He just wanted to continue my previous relationship with the business. Because Peter and Andrew were so nice, we also purchased the extended warranty, which added an extra five years to the manufacturers Warranty. Normally I don't purchase aftermarket warranties, but the price was extremely reasonable, I thought, and the presentation was very friendly and not pushy at all. Peter set up for delivery within two days and so far the experience has been extremely positive. I may come back and post how the delivery goes since they are delivering the new one and removing the old one all for extremely reasonable charge.

I was prepared to pay for the lint trap but she gave it to me gratis. What a thoughtful person and refused to take money for it. I then was looking for a new stove and wanted the glass cooktop as well as the air fryer feature. The owners did not want me to purchase out of gratitude and I explained I was thinking of buying new so they had exactly what I wanted. The install was the next day and the hauled away the old stove. The first thing that greeted me was a store employee wrangling carts at the entrance -- with his mask pulled down all the way. He was positioned in a way that made it impossible to enter without going within a few feet of him. I waited for a bit, finally said "excuse me, I want to come in" and he said "go ahead!" without moving an inch, still fiddling with the carts. I waited for him to turn his back to me and ran the gauntlet to get in. Next note, the store has become *filthy*. I was in the back part of the store and almost all the stock there was covered with dust -- not a fine layer, but the level that obscured the tops of the packages. So my question is: when did they do a deep cleaning? Answer: apparently never. I won't comment on the customers because they're out of the store's purview to a degree, but let's just say none of the home improvement stores seem to have what I'd call a completely pandemic-compliant clientele. So on my way out, I maneuvered my way to the self-service, waited at the periphery until one of the terminals opened up with nobody adjacent to it, and started to ring my stuff up...when a store employee swooped in within a few feet of me with some kind of offer about how I could get 50% off my items and it would be like buy one get one free. I may have been unnecessarily gruff in telling her to back off, but you know, WTAF -- are they not trained? Or maybe they could not solicit customers at the self-service checkout for a bit, you know, while we're all supposed to stay distanced? Masks are not fool proof. Social distancing isn't enough all by itself. But the two of them together are better than just one, by a lot, and I'm gobsmacked at this point, when cases are at an absolute all time high locally that the store hasn't figured out a better training regimen. I've made five trips to Lowe's and Home Depot since the pandemic began and they have all been pretty bad, and this one wasn't even the worst, so maybe I'll give them a mulligan? NO WAY. DO BETTER. I chose them over a competitor twenty-five miles closer to me because of their reputation for honest dealing and skilled service technicians. Over the past twenty years, I have found this to be the case. I recently replaced my original dw with a new Asko from Ackerman's, whose technician and I ran into problems that called for an oscillating saw (neither of us had one and it would have taken an hour to locate and obtain one from a neighbor) but were solved with hammer, chisel, muscle, and skill (none of it mine). Really impressive.
