Wow just realized I never did a review for my favorite burger place in Florida... possible even my favorite burger place in the whole world.. maybe the universe... I'm sure they don't make burgers this good on mars. Fresh good food, creative offerings, friendly staff... what more could you want? I'm always on the lookout for a really great burger. This was one of the most flavorful ones I've had. The French Onion burger came with a rich au jus for dipping. The Crunchwrap was perfect for BigA, as he's not a bread lover. He said he could have drank that queso dip, it was that good. Can't wait to try other items on this menu! read more

Another successful, amazing dinner. The wonderful girl who takes orders, Isabelle, is AWESOME. She is so sweet and extremely knowledgeable on the menu. She helped me decide my order and recommended things I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. The food was absolutely perfect, not a single complaint could be addressed. This is not your average food truck! We visit barrel of monks probably once a month and this is the best food truck I've been to. We try to get a different burger every time and each one just gets better. The chef is so creative and is always coming up with fun new recipes. We always get the incredible chicken wings too. Went here because it look good on the web, plus it got 4.8 stars, burger was good but I ask it to be med rare, it was well done.... It was decent flavor, but no apple slaw on truck when advertised it, regardless if it was an old website or not, it was on there so I was disappointed at that.. burger was 13 bones, wanted truffle fries but not for 16 bones... I did get the old fashion burger ask for ketchup, but no ketchup in bag...it seems that they cook for the brewery, outside seating which seem strange, located deep in industrial park off Clint Moore, I would try again if I was in area, but not going out of my way.... read more

Hands down, some of the best food you'll have the privilege to eat. Went there twice this week, once for a dinner (the bacon wrapped dates are INCREDIBLE) and again for the monthly beer brunch pairing. Hands down, you won't find a better food truck anywhere. The staff are friendly and attentive, the meals are delicious and filling, and the locale can't be beat! I'd give six stars if I could. It's always fun to have a completely new experience and eat great food at the same time. Saw Cheffery on DDD and invited friends to join us trying it out. When my GPS took us into an industrial park I knew it was going to be good. Disclaimer: none of us drink beer so we missed what looks like lots of fun drinking craft beer. Their wine list consisted three small bottled wines but the Cab was more than adequate. My Burrata Burger was outstanding. The patty was so large it stood up the the great assortment of toppiing along with a nice size Burrata Signed up on line for free huge pile of delicious fries. Much better half ordered the on Blue Cheese burger and it was as good as mine. Didn't try wings but they looked great. Now the jarred cheesecake!!! Unless you have a serious sweet tooth, and appreciation for a rich desert, stop at Mac's for a cone on the way home. Every jar was enough for at least two and well worth the $10. Eat outdoors in the "park" or inside at Barrel of Monks...both charming. Very friendly staff, easy parking, and very reasonable prices make for a fun time. Not open for lunch Mon-Fri. Full disclosure: I own a food truck. I'm in a different city and county than Cheffrey and for this, I have to say, I'm grateful. We are not direct competitors but even if we were, good food is good food so I would like to give credit where it is due. I had followed Cheffrey on Instagram for a while and enjoyed watching his mad scientist approach to food. I finally had a Sunday afternoon off so my wife and I drove up from Hollywood to see what the hype was about. I was not disappointed. Cheffrey is a classically trained chef who understands that working in a truck is not an excuse to take it easy and put out mediocre food. I've been to enough food trucks to know that this happens much too often. We ordered Da Bear and the Pulled Pork Mac. I have one regret and that's that I had to share the burger with my wife. Da Bear is a big sandwich. It's a great burger topped with Chicago-style shaved beef and Giardiniera. The burger was juicy, the provolone was perfectly melted and the Giardiniera was spicy enough to let you know it was there but not the kind of overwhelming burn that is usually best saved for dares and contests. The Pulled Pork Mac was massive and delicious. The mac was cheesy and creamy and could be served on any Southern dinner table. The pork was tender and saucy and again, had just enough spice to keep it interesting. Granny Smith apples were a welcome, thoughtful touch. We got through about half the dish and took the rest home and it was dinner as we watched Casablanca because a classic deserves a classic. Bottom line, Cheffrey Eats and Barrel of Monks Brewery, where his food truck is parked are a little out of the way but I would have driven much longer for this meal. This is by far our favorite food truck ever! Combined with the barrel of monks brewery, it's a perfect date night. The Mongolian Brussel sprouts, jackfruit Mac and cheese, burgers and cheesecake jars are all out of this world. The guys making greatness happen here are all really nice. Food is fast and it's never been disappointing in the years we've been eating here. One of my favorite things is reading the Cheffrey emails. They always have a great story that's fun and well worth your time to read. The 15% off loyalty coupons are awesome too. Had the Old School burger and a side of fries. Very generous portions especially when adding fries to burger order for only $2. Old School Burger was huge, messy and very good. Fries were fresh cut fries not frozen which is one of my criteria for any burger joint. The fries were very good but unfortunately a bit too soggy for my taste. The time of the food truck is here. And it's a good thing, especially for all the breweries that aren't licensed to sell food. A food truck for Bangin Banjo is Chefferey Eats. I have been to a ton of foods trucks over the past couple years and s good burger one can really make the night. We stopped in for a work happy hour the other day and we had a blast. We ordered more than 5 different burgers, which they were kind enough to quarter up for our group. The guy who brought em in to our table was great and helpful. He broke down all the different burgers, was in them and said that almost everything was made homemade by the truck. We were s group of 8 that weren't hungry at all to be honest. They were all gone 10 minutes.. Not much more you can say than, if you are at BB, you will be glad you ordered at least one burger. read more
