Roma is hands down our favorite restaurant. We come almost weekly--whether it's for date night or a family dinner--and it never disappoints. The food is the best in town, especially the spaghetti and meatballs. The staff, especially Beth and Nic are always incredibly kind and attentive, truly making you feel at home! We even brought our family visiting from Mexico here for our Christmas dinner, and it was the perfect choice. Double date night with great friends! Had a wonderful time with fantastic service. We started with some tasty drinks ( white Russians, lemoncello, cadillac margaritas), amazing appetizers (calamari and bruschetta), and a delightful mix of entrees (chicken marsala, mushroom truffle gnocchi, penne pasta with vodka sauce and Italian sausage, and chicken and artichoke). My daughter and I don't go to nice restaurants often. I decided it would be fun to have a daddy daughter date night. We went and got each other new outfits and everything. Had been wanting to try Chef Roma's for awhile. So I made reservations. We were greeted immediately and seated. Then we sat there for almost 15 minutes. Not one person came to our table. My nine year old and I sitting there wondering. "So is anyone going to come over here?" Mind you. We were sitting at a table that was right next to the walkway going to the bar and entrance. Sadly, what was supposed to be a fun evening turned out very poorly. Not sure what happened here. But this was a terrible experience. I'm sure the foods great. We got up and left. Our party of three enjoyed getting off strip and a more reasonably priced meal here. The service is excellent and we split the house specials of Veal Parmesan and Frutti di Mare. Excellent presentations and taste. The veal was exceptionally tender and the breading, red sauce, and cheese complemented the veal nicely. The seafood in our pasta dish tasted very fresh, especially the shrimp. This restaurant had a very relaxed vibe. It was not overcrowded. Amazing food and service! And... apparently they just got their gaming too! We sat at the bar. We caught the tale end of happy hour and enjoyed succulent meatballs and a delicious crisp Caesar salad. Fredo was our fantastic bartender. Super friendly and gave us a lot of great suggestions. He also makes a fabulous Old Fashioned! We went on to share the cacio e pepe as well as the branzino. Finished the night with some delicious pistachio gelato and affogato. This was my first time at this restaurant. The inside is semi elegant (but not too elegant) with white linen tables, and it had just a clean, classy vibe. Alfredo, the bartender, was friendly. We came during happy hour and the bar was pretty packed. I know he was slammed, but he did his best to ensure he was taking care of everyone in the right order. He made really good dirty martinis! We had a table for six for our reservation in the main dining area. Our waiter's name was Brandon. He was just a basic kind of pleasant, but honestly he wasn't very friendly or outgoing. A couple of people in my party even mentioned that he probably didn't like his job because of his facial expressions, and just the fact that he was very quiet and underwhelming even when we were trying to make conversation to get him out of his shell or to laugh. Brandon is the only reason I did not give this place 5 stars. Other than that, the food was absolutely amazing! We ordered clams, garlic bread, and the stuffed artichoke for our appetizers. I didn't even get a picture of those dishes because we were so hungry! We did order the Chicken piccata, Pappardelle Alfredo with chicken, Chicken parmigiana, Chicken marsala, Salmon, and Tortellini. And we all just shared from each other's plates because we wanted to try a little bit of everything! Honestly, it was all so so so delicious. We have driven past this restaurant for years and tonight we stopped for the first time and wow, what a treat! We had the Caymus wine dinner special for two. The wine alone was worth the $100 per bottle and we also got a salad, an appetizer and two entrees. What a deal. Our waiter Tom was outstanding, enjoying our dining experience. Passed this gem on my way to the butcher shop. I was completely surprised when I saw it, as I've been in that plaza numerous times. Because it was Friday, and I was in the mood to eat( when I'm not in the mood to eat? ) NEVER!! LOL We made reservations ( Highly recommend ) we were seated promptly. The ambience was quiet and romantic. Perfect for a date or bigger groups based on the size of the booth. We ordered the bruschetta for our appetizer, chicken parmesan and fettuccine chicken Alfredo for our entree. And lastly a piece of heavenly tiramisu for dessert! Absolutely EVERYTHING was delicious!! The chicken parmesan was done to perfection! It was thinly sliced yet moist ! The pasta and cheese sauce was made with LOVE!! Overall, an amazing experience from the host, waiter and service! Located in a small strip mall off of Horizon Ridge (across from the post office.) The ambiance / decor is simple. Not ornate... lots of windows with natural lighting. Not too loud inside, so conversation was easy. We didn't have to shout over music or other people. They serve up Classic Italian dishes bursting with flavor. Not overly garlic-y either. The surprise dish for me was the Grilled Veg Salad. Seriously... The Best Salad I've ever had. Add a protein and you've got a complete meal. Service was really good. We didn't experience the service issues that others have mentioned. And we are not regulars. We did notice that there did seem to be quite a few 'regulars' tho. read more

Chefs Roma Kitchen is located on Horizon Ridge in a strip mall on the north side of Horizon. We were immediately seated by the kitchen. The establishment was clean and well decorated. The staff was pleasant and accommodating and was fair with refills on water (all I was having to drink, so they could've come more often in my opinion. We began with bread and meatballs. The bread is delicious, and great for dunking in the meatball marinara. The meatballs were tender, moist and deliciously flavorful. For an entree I had chicken parm (Un- photographed, sorry I was preoccupied). The chicken parm was good. Not great, but very good. A little overdone in my opinion and dry. It was a while for entrees to show up, so I'm not sure if they sat for awhile before table delivery or what. Regardless, still a good place that I will return to. Overall Roma was very good. Nice ambience and good food and decent service. I recommend them and you should try them out. Better than their neighbor a short drive up the street east. read more

In the mood for Italian food. Photos and reviews on Yelp looked like a good place to try. No problem getting a table at 6 PM on a Sunday night. The restaurant has 3 areas. A lounge area with booths when you first walk in. A bit behind that is a bar area. And to the left, a separate dining room - a bit more upscale ambiance in the dining area (which also has the open kitchen). Amy, our server, came by right away to get our drink orders and explain the specials. We decided to share the stuffed artichoke ($16) as an appetizer and the special fritto di mare as our entree ($45). The artichoke came in a bowl with a spicy butter sauce and stuffing primarily in the center. It was quite tasty. They split the entree in the kitchen for us. A half portion was more than enough food (my wife couldn't finish hers) loaded with shrimp, calamari, and scallops over a pasta with a red sauce. the red sauce was a bit too watery for my taste - but not bad. Overall, it should be a 3.5 rating. But because of the excellent service and very nice ambiance, rounded up to a 4 star rating. read more

Great concept/appeal, sat at the bar for Happy Hour. Signature drinks (old fashioned, Manhattan etc) are all $5 off and Martinis are $10 off. Ordered Calamari and a Caprasi salad, Calamari is typical,Caprasi was great.Had Chicken Parm and wife chose Chicken Marsala for entree, Parm is huge, filled the whole plate, the marinara was bland, has no taste but chicken is quality. The Marsala was average as well. Overall good experience, I believe there are better options for Italian. Probably would return for drinks and apps in the future. read more
