Gravy and Biscuits with 2 eggs over easy

Biscuits and gravy with two eggs. Awesomely good. This was a first for us but, it won't be the last

Decent food and service. Burger fries and coke, $12. Cash tip. Interesting thet they have a "drive thru". Nothing crave-able that I ate, but a decent lunch and happy to support a small business.

This place hasn't skipped a beat since I went in my teens. Same look, same taste. No joke. You want an authentic retro throwback dining experience? Go. My kid self ALWAYS ordered a grilled cheese, fries and chocolate shake. My adult self doesn't stray too far, grilled ham and cheese, fries, and sprite. What can I say? Stick with what I know here. Service fab. Prices so reasonable. Mm mm food.

A well-known and popular local eatery in the upper Arlington area, Saturday mornings are usually pretty crowded so time your visit accordingly. They do have a drive-through which is a nice bonus if you want to pull by and do a quick pick up of some of their delicious food. Typical diner selections, friendly staff and I've always found it to be a clean place to eat.

This diner makes the #1 cherry coke in America. Homemade, never fountain. The hangover platter is a classic and the prices are amazing.

Good old fashioned made to order cafe food. It always hits the spot when you want something with no frills and just tastes good.

I was worried Chef-O-Nette would lose its 1950s MoJo when it replaced all its upholstry a few years back.

I visited for breakfast/brunch in late December 2025 with a college friend and her son. The restaurant was busy when we arrived so we had to wait for about 10 mins for a table. We received our food in about 20 mins after they were ordered. The waiter brought us glasses of water and I may have ordered orange juice too. I ordered the pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. The pancakes were topped with some butter and ai added syrup too. They tasted fluffy and delicious. The scrambled eggs and bacon were well cooked and tasted good. My friend's son ordered a breakfast sandwich and my friend ordered the eggs benedict. They seemed to both like what they got. Overall, I enjoyed my food and customer service was pleasant. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 52/250 total reviews in 2026 - 893 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 26 April 2026

The galaxy-themed decor is such a vibe -- very 70s retro with bright colors, laid-back energy, and a fun but casual feel. My daughter ordered the egg and cheese sandwich, and I love that it comes with avocado. We shared the Big Ol' Pancake, and since the kids couldn't decide on a flavor, our waiter suggested fresh blueberries and chocolate chips on the side so everyone was happy. That kind of flexibility stood out. I ordered the breakfast burger. I was on the fence at first, but the description of the house-made English muffin completely sold me -- and I didn't regret it at all. It came with a side of perfectly roasted potatoes . I also had the cold brew martini sweetened with maple, which was smooth with just the right touch of sweetness. My husband ordered a beer on tap and loved it. He also had the Hermes Loaded Hash and was a fan. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and the staff was overly accommodating without making us feel rushed. That says a lot. They also have a private room available to rent for $50, which I'd absolutely consider for a small gathering. This is a casual, easy breakfast spot I'd definitely return to -- especially if I'm in the area or don't mind driving a little out of my way for good food and a relaxed atmosphere.

Charming decor and friendly staff. However, my experience was ruined due to an error on my take out order. I placed an order for three additional meals with an add on order of sausages. Easy, right? I initially thought so, so I wasn't concerned about my order being incorrect. I get home and my order is missing main items like pancakes, french toast, utensils, and it looked as if the order was just slapped together. I call immediately and I explained that I just had an eaten there and then ordered additional takeout and my takeout order was incorrect. The nice young lady apologized and offered to have it remade. Now I accepted that and also stated since I have to come back up there what other compensation can you provide me. She then transfers me to the incredibly Customer Service oriented manager named Juan. I do hope you can sense the sarcasm. As I explained my situation to him stating what items have been missed, what was wrong with the order and what I expected ask a reasonable solution to this situation. He then goes on and asked me several questions over and over again about the takeout meal, I explained to him one more time to which he cut me off, overtalked me, and really wasn't listening to resolve my issue. When he asked again what I ordered I said I already told you. At which point, he cursed and said he did not want to be "a$$ hole" and basically gave me the impression that he was unwilling to fix this situation. So I told him I was going to speak to him in a nicer tone that he was talking to me that I wanted him to remake the meal. I would be there in 10 minutes and I would like it piping hot. To Juan's credit my food was ready once I arrived however, he proceeds to tell me that his waitress and his expediter both checked the order and it was correct when it left. Which wasn't true obviously. As a matter of fact, my friend said she watched the waitress grab the bag and didn't open it and just came to the table. I don't have a reason to go get free food from an establishment where I've already paid and tipped the server. Second of all he indirectly called me a liar to my face, which is poor service in its own right. Thirdly, when I asked what other compensation he was willing to provide me, he just simply smiled and said no he wasn't going to do anything. Juan needs to go back to the beginning of where Customer Service starts in order to be a better front of the house manager, because when your server makes an error, you own it you do not place the blame back on the customer. Juan needs to be retrained on how to actually service people, he does not know how to talk to anyone. He did not know how to de-escalate the situation. I have been in Customer Service for 25 years and 15 of those have been working in an escalation department that was the worst interaction I believe I have ever encountered with a manager to resolve a situation. I mean Wendy's resolved issues better than this. Being that this was my first time coming to Delaney's, it will also be my last time. Because if you treat any customers the way you treated me, is clear he has no respect for the patrons of this establishment.

First time my wife and daughter stopped before our daughter headed overseas for two years in the Peace Corps. Scotty''s is super close and convenient to the airport. Scotty learned of the imminent departure and came with cookies and treats for the long flight! And now this morning it was another airport drop off. It was my turn, dining alone but nothing about a table for one at Scotty's is lonely. The staff are immediately welcoming and every customer is every employee's charge. Four different people helped me or just checked in. The Gina breakfast combos have lots to offer for breakfast. But I was thrilled this 9:30 am to be assured the whole menu was available. I was looking for something less common and was excited to see potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce as an option. That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?" The Schmoozer is 3 enormous latkes with thinly shaved and lightly grilled corn beef on top with an over easy egg atop that. Seriously, I can declare victory for finding something I'd never had before. Never would have found it without the nudge. Had to cut myself off with all the coffee offers. Just a great vibe. You rarely see a 4.9 rating and even more rarely that high based on so many reviews. But I understand why - like in so many things in life, it is about the people. And the joy they bring to every conversation. And I will just add, in this age when some would divide us, this dining room is filled with all manner of folks, reveling together over food in fellowship.
