I'd say this is your standard middle of the road Chinese spot. Not mind blowing but better than average in a pinch. The chicken lo mein had good flavor and a lot of chicken, with minimal onions/bean sprouts which I like. Wonton soup broth was delish. Wontons themselves were "eh". My kids got general tso's chicken and chicken & broccoli. Broccoli was fresh and the chicken in both dishes wasn't bad. White rice was, well, white rice. Service was decent. The lady at the counter was friendly. The restaurant looked a little shady from the outside with poor lighting but the inside was nice enough. We took our food to go but would dine in if necessary with no issues. There's more restaurants in Ludlow I'd go to but unfortunately none really open on Monday night that my kids wanted to hit up. read more

Stopped in and ordered two combo meals for takeout on a Sunday night. Place was clean and staff very friendly. Both meals came out quickly, flavors were well done, and chicken was really tender. Portions were also a good size. Nice spot for New York style Chinese takeout in Vermont. read more

My boyfriend and I ordered the House Special Fried Rice, Hot and Sour Soup, Mala Beef and the Pu-Pu platter. The soup was actually a little sour which I appreciated but had too much corn starch. The fried rice had lots of meat (chicken and shrimp mostly) but lacked any real flavor than tons of soy sauce. I would say the beef in the mala dish was really tender and the vegetables were actually all really crisp and fresh and was probably my favorite out of everything we ordered. The pu-pu platter was what to be expected. It was lots of fried things that all tasted exactly the same. The egg roll was still a bit under and we could taste the raw dough. The ribs were dried and both the fried chicken and the sweet and sour chicken was so bready that I didn't eat more than a bit out of each one. But, the crab rangoons were okay. Americanized Chinese food that does a good job. The chop suey is more bean sprouts and veggies, don't trust the words chow mein next to it. Comes with white rice. The special combo is like the lunch combo but $2 more expensive. Got the general tso chicken special combo. Pork fried rice, an egg roll that was more skin than filling, and some broccoli. You know how sometimes you can't judge a restaurant by how it looks likes on the outside? Well, this isn't one of them. In fact, I should've predicted how less than mediocre this place was. After driving by it so many times here in the summer and winter where we come up on weekends, I had a craving for Chinese food. Each dish was worse than the other. Hot & Sour soup? Heavy on the egg, no pork to be found, and REALLY heavy on pepper as if to mask that it was lacking in other flavors. Egg Drop soup? Also, really peppery. Which is something an egg drop soup should not be. Fried Pork Dumplings? Gummy and did not feel fresh. Almost like they had been frozen and taken out for this occasion. Blech. And the sauce that went with it? So salty. Amazing Chicken? Hardly. It supposedly had "green vegetables" but aside from a piece of snow pea or broccoli, it was devoid of it. And for a combination of szechuan and hunan flavors, it had neither. And last, the vegetable lo mein. If a restaurant can't' even get lo mein right...It was just lacking in ANY flavor. Tried to save it with some soy sauce but my dining partner thought it was inedible. And that's saying something. Just really disappointing. If you're up in Ludlow craving chinese, my suggestion is just to forget about it. Your craving isn't likely to be satisfied here unfortunately. read more

This was one of the few places open on Christmas Day for dinner. We placed our order and waited 90 minutes!! Again not super surprising but we were definitely starving by the time we picked it up. Might just be how VT does Chinese food but not good at all. Rice was weirdly think. Chicken had so much batter it was like a corn dog.

I wasn't expecting much, since this area in VT seemed so remote and lacking of good food options. But, it's pretty good for Americanized Chinese food! I always order General Tso's chicken to judge, and it was actually really good- big pieces of chicken, well fried and sauced, nice portion of broccoli on the side. I enjoyed the shrimp rice noodles. We Ordered take out: sweet and sour chicken, crab Rangoon, chicken fingers (which were the same as the other chicken), and scallion pancakes. The pancakes were burnt pieces of soggy flour, the chicken and batter wasnt too bad but the sweet and sour sauce was nothing special, very thin and watery, and the crab rangoon were much too sweet. It's not the most atmospheric spot, but it's one of the few decent options for takeout food near Okemo Mountain. The food at this Chinese joint isn't bad, but it's not exceptional either. The boneless ribs were nothing to brag about and the crab rangoons were average. I ordered beef and garlic sauce and not good. Beef undercooked and slimey. My daughter ordered beef and mushroom and it was the same. My buddy ordered General Tsai chicken and it was horrible.
