Hunnan pork stir fried

This place is definitely worth checking out! The food was delicious, and the presentation was super cute. Portions are generous-more like dinner sized-so if you want to sample a variety of dishes, I'd recommend going with a larger group. We went as a group of three, ordered 5 dishes, and still had plenty of leftovers (which we're definitely looking forward to enjoying tomorrow). Everything we ordered was flavorful, but the spicy beef rice noodles and preserved egg with eggplant and pepper stood out as my favorites. And don't skip the Pumpkin Pie for dessert-it was the perfect ending to the meal. It had a pain puri-style mochi vibe, lightly sweet and really unique.

Pork trotter with stinky tofu

The restaurant is pretty small and service is a bit slow, but the food is flavorful and delicious, not too spicy though. We enjoyed the dish we ordered. Nice presentation with big portion too. Fish head with hot pepper: not a lot of flavor when I ate there but got spicier after taking leftover home and cooked a bit longer. Chicken with pickled radish: loved the flavor but the chicken is in super tiny pieces with lots of bone. Blood curd: bean sprouts was overly salty. But the duck blood was delicious. Fish in chili oil: not too spicy when eating there either. Big portion. Intestines with stinky tofu / pork trotter with stinky tofu / Spicy pork intestines / Hunan stir fried pork : my favorite dishes. Not too spicy but so good with rice.

Smashed eggplant

Great smashed eggplants and cultice smoked pork. Their tofu fish head soup is also outstanding. This is a small restaurant that doesn't have many staffs member, but they do their best to serve and keep it clean. The price is also on the cheaper side. This is such a hidden gem and I would recommend it to any one who likes spicy Chinese food.

In town for a bowling tournament and needed some dinner after a day of bowling. We decided to have some spicy food. This place is a small business with about 10 tables. Upon entering the employee was busy playing on his phone and didn't notice us for about 5 minutes. Once he saw us, he motioned for us to pick a table. We ordered the fried lamb, spicy trotter (pig feet) and sautéed cauliflower. Everything was seasoned well and about a medium heat and my favorite was the cauliflower, which was basic but full of wok flavor & seasoning.

Excellent service and food ,Whether you're a fan of spicy food or looking to try something new, this place is a must-visit. Authentic, flavorful, and unforgettable - I'll definitely be coming back!

Came to eat here with my family of 13. They were able to accommodate us. The young man that served us was great, our communication was done with a few words since we don't speak his language but he was still very good. We ordered a FEW plates and they were all great! Our family loves chilies/ spicy food and this was the right place! Inside was very quiet and clean. I would come back to try new dishes.

Spicy Beef Noodle Soup

Ordered a spicy beef noodle soup and it's impressive! The beef is very tender & juicy, the noodle is so chewy and the spicy soup is incredible! Definitely will go there again :)

The beef noodle soup is one of the best I've had around here. Really flavorful dark broth but not too salty or heavy on the soy sauce. Chewy thick noodles. Softened bok choy. The beef was a hit and miss, some pieces were tender and juicy and others was a bit on the drier side. Also their popcorn chicken literally felt like twice the size of any other place but at a cheaper price. It's everything you want a popcorn chicken to be. I like that you can customize the spiciness too. I am excited to return, and I hear a lot of their other items are fantastic too.

This was my first time trying their sesame noodles and it was delicious! It was nutty, chewy, and perfectly sauced up. I was even dipping the popcorn chicken in the sauce. The teas always come in HUGE cups. The mango tea is my favorite. I would say their tea is usually on the sweeter side. Safe to say this place never fails me.

If you look up "great places to eat in Monterey Park," this spot comes up again and again. I've…read moreseen social media influencers rave about it, and several people in my personal life have recommended it too. All I can say is the hype is real. My crew and I went on a Friday night, and even though it was very busy, we were seated fairly quickly. There were four of us, and here's what we ordered: chicken fried rice, Shanghai-style chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, and juicy pork dumplings. Chicken Fried Rice: It was soft and pillowy with great flavor, though I felt it could have used a bit more color. It looked a little pale, but it was still delicious. Shanghai-Style Chow Mein: This was perfect. The flavor was spot on, the sauce was well-balanced, and the noodles had the ideal texture. The ratio of noodles, vegetables, and meat was just right. Sweet and Sour Chicken: This was the highlight for me. My only regret is not ordering more to take home. The chicken was crispy without being overdone, and it was coated in that delicious sweet and sour sauce. Juicy Pork Dumplings: We were at a dumpling house, so we had to order dumplings. These did not disappoint. They were very flavorful, and the broth inside was rich and satisfying. We originally planned to order more dishes, but the portions were generous, and we ended up with just the right amount to leave satisfied. Overall, this place lives up to the hype. I can't wait to come back and try more.

It's pretty good here and they have complimentary refills! They're known for their rice noodle rolls here and you can order them, along with their small dim sum menu, all day long. The wonton noodles here were just $13.98! They come with 5 large wontons and vegetables over wonton noodles. I always recommend adding chili oil. The steamed spareribs on steamed rice have some bones, just like the ones you find at dim sum. But there's a lot of meat in the steamed rice bowl for a single person. We got seated pretty quickly even when they were busy. My most recent visit, the foods improved so much. We got a ribeye. I tried a piece and literally wanted the whole plate to myself lol it was so juicy and so tender!! The salted fish fried rice without chicken was delicious. It wasn't so salty. The rice was perfectly cooked. Bolognese was tasty. It was also not that salty. Perfecto amount of sauce and cheese. The vermicelli was surprisingly better than it looked. I wasn't expecting much from it. However, I noticed I kept eating it hahha The lemon iced tea was a let down. Even though they offered refills, but there were white stuff flowing around. The staff didn't even have an explanation for it. He even mistakenly took it for some passion fruit drinks and said it was some sugar they used. Right when I told him it was lemon iced tea, he said let me change it out for you. He came back, but the drink still looked somewhat weird. I took a sip and toss the whole cup. Seating could be a bit dirty. Will return for the ribeye hehhe hopefully the quality will be the same or even better
