Extra shoutout for the cucumbers. The way they do they is truly deeeeelicious. I would reserve a room in advance. It felt almost watered down but I say the piece of beef were great. Overall, the meal came out to around $65 and it is pretty standard now but $13 for 8 wontons or 8 potstickers just feels a bit nuts still. The portions were huge and the juicy dumplings were in fact juicy. Now I'm used to just doing Din Tai, but these dumplings were good and bigger and had more soup. Sure Din Tai might look prettier, at the end of the day they just have to taste good. My family will definitely be back to visit Mama Lu's for more dumplings.
