I came to Tasty Meet for Saturday lunch and it was packed - all tables were full and there were people waiting along with us. The wait took maybe 10 minutes and we were able to order through the QR code on the table, and I got the mild regular size beef noodle, which is really the only item on the menu. They also provide the first drink you choose as free (options including coke, sprite, soy milk, and various chinese tea), which I appreciated because the noodles had more mala flavor than I was expecting. The noodles itself weren't chewy, but the beef was great quality and filled half the bowl! It's a great amount for the price point ( around 15 dollars)

They only serve beef noodle but their beef noodle is amazing! I love the noodle, the beef, the soup, and the spicy flavor!

Pretty empty during my visit on a Wednesday afternoon, so I got seated immediately. Menu is scanned via QR code but is kinda confusing--although theres 1-2 menu items, it's listed redundantly so I was not sure which one to select. I ended up ordering the dry noodles with less spice rather than the soupy alternative. The noodles are perfectly chewy and soft. The sauce was more peanuty than I expected and there is a slight mala flavor. Beef is tender. Each table comes with black vinegar.

They give large portions and everything tastes INCREDIBLE. Super authentic flavors and will definitely be coming back MUST TRY: Beef roll- flaky on the outside and stuffed with delicious marinated beef. My favorite dish Pan fried pork bun- super juicy just like in China Fried squid- the best fried squid I've ever had. Even better than the Hong Kong Cafe. Super crunchy almost like Korean fried chicken in the outside and tender in the inside. Not hard to chew at all! Lemon green tea- absolute massive glass. 100% delicious and not too sweet with a faint jasmine floralness Inside is a bit small but very generous with the AC Definitely come here!

The menu looked pretty similar to a lot of other Taiwanese spots I've been to. I ordered the beef noodle soup. The beef was tender, although it was a little on the salty side for me. The bok choy was cooked well and still had a nice texture without being overcooked or soggy. My friend got the honey green tea, popcorn chicken, and tomato beef noodle soup. He thought everything was fine, but nothing really stood out to him. We came on a Friday right before noon, and it started getting pretty busy soon after. I probably wouldn't wait a long time to eat here, especially on a weekend. There are quite a few other places that serve similar dishes and are pretty comparable. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but I'd be open to coming back and trying some of the other things on the menu, especially the xiao long bao or one of the other rice noodle soups.

They have a new menu and we ordered the Minced Pork & Egg Rice. This is the non-gravy/sauce version like some local restaurants are starting to do. Both breakfast specials came with iced lemon tea which was awesome. The steamed rice was quite tasty. My favorite dish was probably the zhongzi which is like a Chinese tamale. It was very well seasoned and the pork was flavorful. Overall solid brunch restaurant in San Gabriel Valley.

It's simple what they do well here, they make darn good food that tastes like homemade food (healthy and delicious), they price everything on the menu very reasonably (especially in these crazy times), and they treat all their customers like family/neighbors. Now that I've given you the why, let's move on to the good food. We usually order the beef noodle soup because of how tender the meat is and the soup & noodles are just perfect comfort food. And we always pair it with veggies (garlic cucumbers or water spinach) and pork dumplings are also amazing. Almost any of their braised meat rice/noodles are just really good (popular ones are braised pork rice or braised chicken leg rice). Interior space is also very roomy and comfortable for big groups or cozy meals Parking is pretty easy since they have a lot in their back entrance and they used to let you park underground as well but the building's new management started closing the gates at 6pm because they're just sad and unfriendly human beings lol but luckily the surrounding area has many places to park.

They opened and closed the door for us which was a nice touch because it was busy inside. We ordered the pork ramen, pork buns, and pork soup dumplings. On to the food! Pork Ramen: 3/5 They give you a hefty amount of noodles and pork. They use a thin noodle here which pairs well with the broth. I truly do believe this was around average for ramen as the flavor in the broth was not as strong or savory. The highlight of the entire entree was definitely the pork, which was tender and flavorful. I probably would not order this again. Pork bun: 5/5 The pork buns were soft and fluffy, almost too good looking to eat. There was the right amount of soup and meat inside that made for a wonderful bite full of flavor. Not dry at all. Would recommend ordering this if you visit. Pork Dumplings: 5/5 The star of the show, the dumplings. They were soft and just like the buns, they had the right amount of soup + meat which made for a delicious bite every time. My toddler even ate some and she's usually super picky about meat. Overall, I'd definitely recommend coming here for the other noodles, the dumplings, and buns. You can skip on the ramen. I would 100% come back here to dine in. Quick note that parking gets full pretty quick here.

Our food also arrived at very different times. The chicken steak came out significantly before the chicken cutlet, and it was mediocre at best. It was barely warm, which made it seem like it had been sitting out for a while, and the chicken was quite fatty and difficult to eat without picking it apart. The bigger issue came when the chicken cutlet finally arrived. While my fiancé was cutting into the chicken, he found a **whole screw in the food**. We're generally very passive at restaurants and don't like making a fuss, but this was completely unacceptable. We called the waiter over, and while she apologized, the response felt very dismissive and there was no real acknowledgment of the seriousness of what had happened or any effort to accommodate us. She eventually asked whether we wanted to cancel the order or have another one made. We chose to have it remade, and although the replacement came out later, there was still very little acknowledgment of the incident. Overall, we were extremely disappointed. Mistakes can happen, but finding a screw in your food is a serious issue, and we expected much more attentive service and concern from the staff afterward. Unfortunately, the entire experience felt more focused on getting customers in and out than providing a quality dining experience. We left feeling very disappointed and would not return.
