    Jerk Chicken

Good jerk chicken. It's juicy enough that it doesn't need sauce. Nice and spicy. The spice isn't overwhelming (at least if you have a tolerance). Big portions. Good prices. I wish jerk pork was available.. been there 2-3 times with no luck. *updated* the curry goat is very good, even better than the jerk. It's nice and spicy, it's flavorful, and you get a good amount of gravy. Good price and good portion as well.

The only complaint is customers in this parking lot are not courteous and do not park properly (potentially taking up a little more of the spot next to it) so you have to be careful of your parking. We decided on - Butterbeer latte - not what I anticipated but it's good. - Blue curacao refresher - it was on a sweet side, more like a soda. - Honey lavender latte - it was good, though I had stronger lavender flavor. - London fog latte - this is on point. - oreo and chocolate chip banana bread was gooey after it's heated. Go check it out if you are nearby.

Before ordering, we enjoyed their award-winning margaritas, which certainly lived up to the hype. Following Michaela's recommendations proved to be the right decision, as every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. As we finished our meal, we found ourselves unable to decide whether The Bungalow was "really very good" or "very really good." Either way, everything we tried was delicious. Unfortunately, this review is not good at all due to the lack of class, judgment, and inadequacy of this establishment. We came here on a date night because we heard nothing but great reviews on this place. We were seated by a very unpleasant hostess who made it known she did not want to be there at all. We waited for a while for a server to come up to us to get our drink order, but that never happened. I was reluctant to leave at first, but then noticed that there was another table across from us a family of four with two kids who were having the same problem too. They waited patiently as we were, but no one was around to serve us because they were all standing at the bar being loud and goofing around. At that point I had enough and we walked out. I have now read the most recent reviews on this establishment after I left and I should have done that before we came here. A lot of unpleasant reviews have been posted for the past six months about this place. So apparently there's a reason why I had the experience I did as everyone else did recently. It's a shame because the Old reviews prior to the past couple of months were phenomenal. Oh wait you guys must be permanently closed by now as one of the other posts said. Now you should understand why. It is what it is, Right?

The food was absolutely amazing. Everything my family and I ordered was flavorful, fresh, and exceeded our expectations. There wasn't a single dish that disappointed us. A special shoutout to the gentleman with locs and glasses who was working at the front. His customer service was outstanding. He was friendly, professional, and helped create a positive first impression. Our waitress was okay overall, but the front-of-house service really stood out. The only downside was the wait. We waited well over an hour, closer to two hours, and the restaurant was packed. Parking was also extremely difficult. They do offer valet parking, which helps, but the lot was still very challenging to navigate due to how busy it was. Also, this place is pricey! Even with the long wait, price, and parking issues, the food and overall experience made it worth it. My family and I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

The interior feels elevated yet welcoming, with a cool layout and a buzzing crowd that makes it feel like the place to be on a Sunday morning--especially with the post-church rush keeping the entire dining room packed to the brim! We came in with a reservation, though be prepared for a bit of a wait at the door even with one; the host stand was swamped and sadly having to turn away walk-ins because of how in-demand they are. Once seated with a friend, we dove into a full breakfast spread--an omelet, eggs benedict, and the French toast. While the price point leans a bit steep for a morning meal, the kitchen definitely knows what they're doing: The French Toast: The absolute star of the show. Rich, perfectly golden, and cooked to decadent perfection. I genuinely loved every bite of this! The Eggs Benedict & Omelet: Super solid, fresh, and well-executed classic breakfast fare. It's definitely on the pricier side, but for the chic aesthetic, vibrant crowd, and incredible French toast, it's a high-end local brunch worth experiencing. I'd definitely come back!

Of course Long Island has lots of diners, but they are all unique, and I would say that based on my experience, Imperial is one of the best. I did not want your typical huge diner meal, which is much too much food, so I went with a nice dinner size Mediterranean Salad. The food was excellent - top quality fresh ingredients, put together beautifully and delicious. I was equally impressed by the service. When I travel to New York, I will often run into people who are not particularly friendly or helpful, including many who work at restaurants. This was not the case at all at Imperial. They were kind, and eager to give me a great experience. For a diner, it was not too noisy, and everything was very clean. Prices were very fair too. The only thing lacking .. and I saw this a lot in New York, was non-alcoholic beer. I cannot drink alcohol, and this is something I really enjoy with my meals. Imperial does have a variety of "Mocktails" .. so there are options for folks like me ..but it would be nice to see some beer options for the growing number of people who either cannot drink, or prefer to avoid alcohol. This is definitely a good choice if you are looking for a nice diner. Highly recommended.
