    Jerk Chicken

Good jerk chicken. It's juicy enough that it doesn't need sauce. Nice and spicy. The spice isn't overwhelming (at least if you have a tolerance). Big portions. Good prices. I wish jerk pork was available.. been there 2-3 times with no luck. *updated* the curry goat is very good, even better than the jerk. It's nice and spicy, it's flavorful, and you get a good amount of gravy. Good price and good portion as well.

This is a very small restaurant on a side street that has really good food. The prices are good for the portion received. They seem to have a good local following. As for the dining area, there are only three tables. All of the people I saw were there for take out.

probably one of the best Caribbean spot on long island, chicken is never dry and the rice peas taste good by itself.

The food here is good. My favorite dish is the stew chicken. They give you a nice portion size that can last you for two meals.

The decor is bright, fun , modern, and staff is welcoming The menu is surprisingly versatile, offering everything from smoothie combos to beer, drinks, and solid food options. It's the kind of place where both kids and adults can find something they love, which is rare and refreshing. One of the standout features is how clean and well-maintained everything is. There's also a separate kids' area with staff supervision, which is a huge plus if you're looking to unwind for a bit while your little ones stay entertained safely. I personally chose to stay and play with my son in the playground area since he's still a bit young, and we had a great time together. It's nice to have that flexibility depending on your child's age and comfort level. Overall, I'd definitely come back. It's a fantastic spot for everyday visits and would be an excellent choice for hosting a kids' party.

On top of that, my smoothie and food were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and thoughtfully made. This visit meant more to me than I can easily explain, and it's a place I'll absolutely be coming back to. Highly recommend!

Since we always get their Pitaya or Green bowls, this was our first time trying their açaí based bowl. I decided to try their Nutella açaí bowl, which comes with strawberry, banana, and Nutella spread. Since I love blueberries, they let me swap the strawberry for blueberry which was nice. I could also choose a second base, so I picked their banana base, which I don't usually see at other places. My family got their Tropical bowl, which comes with pineapple, banana, and honey. The server was nice, and they made our açaí bowls quickly, neat and nice! What I love about Playa Bowl is that their base tastes amazing and is creamy, and the portion of fruit is great! They're usually around $16, which is a little expensive compared to other places, but it's definitely worth it. They have so many varieties of bowls with different kinds of base, the acai, Pitaya, green and banana. They also sometimes have seasonal bowl, which right now is the strawberry based bowl :) so you can try different ones each time you visit and find your favorite! My favorite so far is the Electric Mermaid, which comes with pineapple, mango, and kiwi on a Pitaya base. This location was great, nice and quiet, not crowded. If you haven't had a chance to try it yet, you should definitely try!!

I'm so glad I did because as soon as I ordered, the line was nearly at the door. The word must be out about Playa Bowls.. which is a good thing! I picked up the booster bowl, which contains banana, peanut butter, vanilla protein, flax oil, spirulina & cashew milk. It's topped with blueberry flax granola, banana, chia seeds, and finally, my favorite.. .peanut butter. It was absolutely amazing. Next time I might add some honey but honestly, it was pretty much perfect as is. I really love how Playa Bowls leaves you feeling quite satiated but not overly full. Out of all the acai spots across the Island, I think it's safe to say they are my favorite.
