    Steamed Pork Bun

Went here for lunch, everything was delicious as always. I always love their food, it never disappoints. When we walked in, they had a few customers dining it. It looks like a majority of people got their lunch plate. I originally came here for that but they didn't have the salt & pepper fish so I just did a full order. The restaurant stays pretty quiet, it wasn't overly loud with other customers dining in. I highly recommend this spot, everything taste fresh and the flavor is always there.

Mapo tofu with no meat. Frozen carrots and peas and a ton of gravy. Not real Chinese food.

The first time we went it was ok, not great but good enough, so we went back the second time and ordered mapo tofu and chicken and mushrooms. And this time, it was terrible. It had a weird super dark gravy and cheap ingredients. It was mostly gravy. I would not go back.

I didn't feel like cooking, and my girls were craving noodles for dinner, so we decided to order takeout from Chef Bo. We ordered the beef chow fun and the BBQ pork chow mein. When I arrived to pick up the order around 4pm, the restaurant was pretty empty, which was expected for that time of day. The prices were very reasonable, and my girls really enjoyed the noodles. I tried some later and thought the beef chow fun had great flavor, and the noodles had the perfect texture. The chow mein was also tasty, but I personally preferred the chow fun. Overall, this will definitely be one of my go to spots for Chinese takeout when I don't want to cook and just need something simple, quick, and satisfying for the kids.

Mom and I were in the mood for Chinese and we don't eat it very often anymore. There were several places to choose from in elk Grove and boy did we score First of all this is the best honey walnut shrimp I've ever had. The shrimp are huge, generous, and juicy. The sauce is so tangy and awesome, but the highlight of this dish is the walnuts which are amazing. We had the standard fair of chow mein and fried rice and it did not disappoint. You forget what really good fried rice and chow mein taste like with so much panda express in the world these days Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place out. Service was great and friendly. We got seated right away on a Sunday night. The food portions were good sizes for sharing! Highly recommend the house fried rice, salt and pepper pork chops and the Mongolian beef dishes!! Our all time favorite was the salt and pepper pork chops! So flavorful and everything paired well with each other. The ambiance was nice, great place for families or group of friends to grab good Chinese food! We even got a small slice of cake after we paid for our check! Perfect dessert to top off our meal!

Food:**** Service:**** Ambiance:**** Place is always bright and clean. Bathrooms are clean. Service is always fast. The servers are attentive and ask if we need anything. Food is always amazing. We had some appetizers like fried wontons and wor wonton soup. Love all the veggies in the soup. We also tried their burgers hot sour soup. That hit the spicy spot. We had several other dishes like eggplant hot garlic sauce, sweet n sour pork, beef chow mein, orange chicken and of course fried rice. We will be coming back.

Great little neighborhood spot for Chinese good to dine in or take out. Easy to get in and ample parking as well. The dining area has plenty of seating. Their lunch specials are hearty. I got broccoli beef w/half steam rice and half chow mein. Cones with soup and a cheese wonton. All for $11.75...great deal! The food quality is good...and portion size will mean I get great leftovers (midnight snack!). Definitely will be on my regular rotation!

Came a bit before 6, pretty spacious inside not many ppl. We ordered beef fried rice, wet beef chow fun, happy family and fish clay pot. It came out VERY fast, prob like 5-10 minutes after we ordered tbh. Overall, it was all very mid. The chow fun was disappointing, the noodles were all stuck tgt very thick, so it was not full cooked (or the noodles were jus old) and bland. The flavor was alright for the chow fun, could def use a bit more. The happy family wws a variety of things, veggie meat seafood mushrooms and stuff, same flavoring as chow fun. The fried rice honestly i couldnt taste anything and the rice grains were a bit crunchy. The clay pot was decent, fried fish and tofu, decent flavoring. We did get one hot tea, their drinks other than water do cost extra. Overall wouldnt come back, prices are pretty decent but taste wise it just wasnt it for us lol.

Food was great got the 2 for $38 paid extra for some stuff but it was $2-$3.50 more.its a lot of food we had leftovers to bring home. Service was friendly and fast they are very attentive and pick up empty dishes fast. The restaurant was empty when we got there but it was after lunch it was very clean and bright. We had the house chow mein, orange chicken, cashew shrimps, wonton soup upgraded to the 3 meats. Egg rolls and fried wonton stuff with cream cheese.

When I walked in I was quickly invited to have a seat at a table. I looked at the menu and decided to try the 2 for $38. I didn't like the additional fee for Mongolian beef. The wonton soup was okay. I'd say just average. The pork chow mein was not too oily but flavor was about average. The sweet and sour pork was crunchy so over done with the breading. The Mongolian beef wasn't worth the additional fee. I liked the fried bun even though I got it last. The foil wrapped chicken was good but the appetizers were the last to arrive. Not a fan as there are other Chinese food restaurants nearby.

I went here on a whim with my boyfriend and the food here is super good! It's family-style so that means BIG portions with great food! It's not too oily, it's just enough, it doesn't make me feel full/sick after like other Chinese food restaurants! The service here is super quick and they're so nice, I love their recommendations and they're super quick to know what we want! During the couple times I went here, it's been fairly empty which makes me sad and hope that they are getting good business! Please try them out!

No wait time after 6pm. We were seated right away on Father's Day. Sorry I didn't get the servers name. However, they all were fantastic. We ordered the Orange Chicken with Chicken fried rice and egg roll. Salt and pepper wings & special fried rice, chicken with vegetables & chicken, fried rice, including soup, also an order of Kung Pao Chicken. The food was served heat hot and seasoned with plenty of flavor, tasty too. We definitely will be back.

They are always so very busy, so don't expect customer service there, just great food. Licious has the exact opposite, great service and okay food. We ordered the following: Szechuan green beans- cooked perfectly with a crunch still. Lacked flavor- not spicy. Fish and tofu clay pot- the fish tasted sweet, oddly. The fried tofu was perfect. Juicy and soft, Beef short ribs skillet- very fatty. You are paying for fat. Maybe it was a bad day. Tiger prawns with pumpkin- it is battered with salted egg, but it's not that salty. I wish it was saltier because I love salted egg. Battered and fried perfectly!!! The Tiger prawns are HUGE!!!!!! I've never eaten such big prawns in my life. The pumpkin was so soft and sweet with the perfect crunch from the salted egg batter. IT JUST NEEDED MORE SALT. Lots of pumpkin! Lobster- lacked flavor and was a very small lobster with not a lot of meat. Salt and pepper fried tofu for appetizer- yummy yummy. Perfect. Whole roasted duck- flavor was perfect, but the skin texture was stale. It wasn't like how it tastes at Tealicious. I don't know why the skin wasn't crunchy. Shrimp and egg chow fun- lacked flavor and too wet. Service was amazing for our two tables total of 18. They kept checking on us and even packed all of our food. There were two servers and only 3 other small tables with ours. The restaurant is quite small and is only for up to I believe 35 people on Theo occupant load signage. I would come back if I craved the Tiger prawns with pumpkin, but nothing else we tried. Maybe I'll try the fried rice next time and do an updated review.

Either way, they are lightening fast and you can always Dash. I was feeling late night snacks so I got sweet-n-sour shrimp (my fave), salt-n-pepper wings (bc why not), and Mandarin chicken because the photos looked so good. Here's my opinion. Shrimp was perf. I love when they are straight and tailess with puffy/crunchy batter, the serving was legit too. The wings were yummy but a once in a while thing I would order if you ask me. The batter is thick and super crisp like a shell and so salty and flavorful in a good way. Came with lots of onions and jalapeños as it should and they chicken itself had a nice almost garlic marinated flavor. The chicken itself was piping hot and the best part. Just 'a lot' to eat-eat for a dinner. The Mandarin chicken was my least favorite just because it was a bit sweet for my liking. The upside is all their chicken this style is always big juicy all white breast meat chunks, nothing unrecognizable. My boys loved it, me not so much due to sweetness and being bready. All in all I still love this place and it is consistently good. If you love orange chicken get that for sure. When I picked up it was a tad warm inside the restaurant. They had the back door open in the kitchen, and it was 103 as a high so it wasn't refreshing to sit down and eat there.

Maybe the 20th??) of our dear dear friend, Hawaiian Elite TERRY K. coming back to visit with us! THE SETUP Such an incredible restaurant with great seating to support an incredible array of Chinese dishes and beverages! I'm actually in agreement with my friend & fellow Yelper David V. who said, "This place is like a high-quality Panda Express. Is that a good thing? You decide!" And David is right! By that I enthusiastically interpret his opinion as Tea Garden being incredibly ACCESSIBLE to every palette of customer: from those who are just casual Chinese food eaters, to the far FAR more demanding Asian appetites of friends who have much more experience with the wide diversity of Chinese cuisine and know how to ask for it, focusing on seafood, chicken, beef, vegetables, noodes, chilis, spice! PARKING AND "Parking"! It's kind of wild, but I find this more and more to be the case with great ethnic cuisine establishments, that delicious restaurants such as this find themselves in a STRIP MALL. Hey, nothing wrong with that, either! Cheaper rent means cheaper prices on the restaurant food. It ALSO often means tons of free plaza parking as in this case. So much for the car parking, not about where you "park" yer butt! We had a crew of eight (8) and all of us came with the attitude of "Let's try as many dishes as we can!": the large round tables with the large lazy-susans were the best method to make that plan work. If you are only 2-4 people, regular seating at rectangular tables will work just find. THE FOOD! And as I indicated earlier, we had a plethora of dishes: * Delicious broth & veggie soup to start * Crispy Eggrolls with Sweet & Sour Sauce * Crispy Shrimp with Sweet Chili Sauce * Chinese Chicken Caesar Salad * Fried Rice with Chicken & Shrimp * Broccoli Beef * Chicken Tso Chicken....and.... ...I can't remember what else! There was a LOT, but it becomes a blur after all the chicken and beef and shrimp and eggrolls I was devouring! THE LOWDOWN Suffice it to say, if you come with friends and an appetite, you are going to be soooo satiated! And in addition, I lucked out since half our friends were from the Bay Area and they sent me home with a large (LARGE) share of the leftovers that lasted me the week after that weekend banquet! Good food! Reasonably priced! Tons O' Fun!

Chili oil dumplings were the favorites, Sweet & Sour soup was hearty, Broccoli was crispy and the beef just melted in your mouth. Shrimp and toasted walnuts were a treat. Chow fun was flavorful and we even tried a new appetizer that did not disappoint. This spot is a must try and great for date night, celebrations, family style eating or just to eatvery good food!!

Definitely the most tastiest duck I've ever had. The skin was crispy and the fat just melted in your mouth. The pancake making process was definitely unique but i would just love the duck on rice with some pepper. The sirloin was tender, moist and medium rare. Great stir fry. The 5 color xlb was a disappointment though. Tasty still but not worth the hype since the dumplings cooled down way to quickly and the taste was not on point. Ambiance wise, very beautiful inside. They had spacious areas for groups, big 4 person tables, and a great outdoor patio area. Definitely a good spot to try and ill come back here for the duck again.

This restaurant is a to-go only restaurant, and gets plenty of traffic from the area. I went midday (3:00pm) and there were at least 4 customers in and out during the time I was there. While I was checking their menu, I decided to order, since I remember how good their chicken wings are. I ordered the chicken wings, and a lunch combo with chicken with black bean sauce. The combo comes with chow mein and fried rice and an egg roll for $13.99 but I asked for steam rice instead of fried rice. Unfortunately, I didn't check my plate before leaving the restaurant because they gave me all steam rice and no chow mein. Despite the error, their chicken wings are still the best, and the chicken with black bean sauce was very good. I would've like to have tried the chow mein. Also, I didn't notice that they charged $16.99 for the plate, which was a little steep considering I got no chow mein. Some of the condiments are extra, like the hot mustard, so ask for it before they ring up your bill. I'm sure I'll be going back for the chicken wings because it's made fresh and it's really good.
