My first visit at Bobby's was a pleasant surprise. I was looking for some kind of salad but they did not offer that option. Instead of fries I chose onion rings. They were really tasty. But I'm glad I opted out of the fries. I do like slim fries but this time they looked like caramelized onions. My hamburger was good with two patties, and the bun was tasty too because it was grilled. My friend was happy to be able to order gluten free buns. Next time I know that they have a burger bar. That is a great option. You can choose how many pickles and how much lettuce or tomatoes you want on your burger. Bobby's signature sauce was tasty. They were busy during lunch time so we had to wait a bit for our orders. However, the cashier was friendly and we were not in a hurry. read more

We went to CB around noon on a Sunday after church. I will begin with entering the door. There is an old saying that if the door is filthy, you should not even go inside. The door was disgusting. Greasy and filthy handprints and grime were all over the glass. I should've decided to turn around and leave but I had never eaten Cheeseburger Bobby's and I was starving. As soon as I opened the door and walked in, I was overwhelmed by the stench of what was obvious that the whole entire place had been mopped with a sour mop head. It's the kind of smell that happens when a dish rag goes sour. I went to the restroom before my order. The bathroom toilet had urine dripped on it, toilet paper pieces all over the floor, a rusty garbage can, and the mirror above the sink was also filthy. The young man who took our order was very polite. Cost of 2 cheeseburger combo meals was ~28 bucks. The condiment station was filled with a nice variety of sauces and seasonings. The containers and bottles for those seasonings were also filthy and rusty. There was dried goop on the sides of the containers. Taking the risk of getting sick and proceeding to eat what I had been served was definitely out of the ordinary for me. Surprisingly, the burger was really good. The fries had the potential to be really good given they were the skin-on fries that I typically love. But they were very soggy and not even a small amt of crispiness to them. All that being said, this place has all the potential to be a good burger joint. Cleaning the restaurant needs to be the top priority. Tbh, Im not sure how it passes health inspections due to the filth. Even though the burger was pretty darn good, I wont likely go back. The sour mop smell, the gross slimy door, the rusty containers, and the dried on food on the condiments was just nasty. I gave it an extra star on what was a 1 star rating because of the friendly cashier, the decent burger and I didnt get food poisoning. read more

I decided to try cheeseburger Bobby's for the very first time and very unpleased, the restaurant was extremely dirty all the tables had spilt stuff and crumbs and the floor was so slippery you almost fell everywhere you stepped. And even the roof is leaking onto the tables, I don't feel like it was a very sanitary place. read more

Came in yesterday with wife and son around noon (Sat. July 11, 2022). Place was moderately busy but started getting busier close to 12:30. If you haven't been to a Cheeseburger Bobby's it's basically a burger bar with other menu items. When we entered we were greeted by cheerful staff. The young guy at the counter (Blake) was professional and very friendly, and quickly took our order. We got our drink cups and sat to wait for our burgers. Burgers came out in about 5 minutes, and everything was cooked to perfection. I had the Bobby's burger, just a basic burger, with some fries. The burger was fresh and had the perfect amount of tenderness and moisture. The fries were fried to an awesome golden brown and had the ultimate blend of crispness on the outside and good old fresh tenderness on the inside. At the fixin's bar I added my mandatory mustard, jalapeños and onions. All the bar items were fresh. My wife tried the turkey burger and really enjoyed it. I also tried a bite and agreed. Our son had a bacon burger and even though he wasn't hungry he finished it, since he said it was very good. I had the unsweetened tea mixed with lemonade, tea was fresh and good. All in all the place is in a great location near everything downtown, easy access from Main St., the staff are professional, efficient, and friendly, the joint is clean, and prices are on par with similar establishments, so you definitely can't go wrong. If you are new to Cheeseburger Bobby's, then definitely give them a try. If you're an old school CB lover, you'll be happy with this location. read more

A disappointing visit especially when 2 burgers with fries & drink & a kid's meal burger costs $32. Fries mostly dark & kind of greasy (& long gone are the days when they'd come around & top off your fries). Smallest burger listed is 1/3 lb (which is 2 patties) & just didn't taste on-point today. It does come on a beautiful bun, but you soon realize it's way more bread than you need or want. Then the tea was a pale, mostly flavorless brew, leaving us to sugary sodas that we didn't really want. Service at counter was fine but since you have to walk up to window to get your food, I'm not sure why they present a tip screen as you pay. Yes, you can decline. I did do a dollar & glad I didn't feel pressured to add more since again, everything was fine but there is no real "service" provided. read more

Not the best experience. Burgers were just bland and the fries were awful, cold and dark brown, overcooked or rancid oil, terrible taste. I've been a Cheeseburger Bobby's fan since 2015. I always went to the one in Canton, but found it was closed when I moved back here in September 2023. The Cartersville location is the open one nearest to me, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Canton location. The Cartersville store is a bit grimy, the drinks area is always sticky, you can skate on the greasy floors and the only folks that appear to know what's going on are the folks working the grill in the back. It's hard for the grill cooks to monitor the dining area and level of supplies in the main part of the restaurant since, unlike the old Canton location, they're cooking in a separate area from the dining room. I ate there tonight and, if the Canton location doesn't reopen soon, Cheeseburger Bobby's has lost a loyal customer. -The place was dirty. -The mayo dispenser was empty and I had to ask for mayo -- obviously they knew about it because they had a few small containers of it for the asking. -The lettuce was wilted and I passed on the mealy tomatoes which looked as though they'd been sliced and placed in the fridge 3 days ago. -There were literally 4 dill pickle slices in the tray. A few more were thrown in while I was there, but there was no excuse for the 2 teens working the front to have overlooked it as they did not have back to back customers even though it was the dinner hour. -There were literally only about 5 tops for the drink cups in the tray, but they put a few additional ones in there while I was there. Didn't completely replenish mind you -- just added maybe a dozen. -I wasn't there for a frozen custard, but there was an "out of order" sign on the custard machine. C'mon -- you sell basically 2 things -- burgers and custard. I really felt like the two front-end teens just didn't want to have to be bothered with keeping the custard machine in operation. Again, the only people who seem to be really working are the ones actually cooking the food. How is it that the Canton location was so well-run and clean and the front employees seemed to be constantly cleaning when they weren't waiting on customers? All the condiments and supplies were always well stocked, while this Cartersville location is just a complete disappointment? I won't be going back to the Cartersville location. Based on the way it is being run, I don't expect them to be open much longer. On the flip side, it appears the Canton store is reopening and hopefully it won't be under the same management as the Cartersville location. If so, it will be doomed. Fingers crossed that the soon to reopen Canton store will maintain their previous level of cleanliness, quality and friendly employees. read more

This was by far the best customer service I've had in a while. I was in Cartersville for a two day training so this was my first time at this location. Tammy I believe (an older lady with glasses) was amazing. I was greeted upon entering. Once my order was placed and I sat down a few minutes later she checked on me. Once I received my food, the guy in the kitchen said the order back to me and said if I needed anything let him know. Most places say here's your (.......) and that's all. Once I got back to my table Tammy walked around the restaurant in between customers and checking on everyone in the dining room. I also saw her checking the temperature of the veggies on the bar. They also have turkey burger and chicken sandwiches if burger is not your thing. The fries are hand cut and they also have frozen custard sundaes and shakes. Overall good place to eat not too keen on the custard that taste like soft serve ice cream or the fact it doesn't seem like they have a drive thru. Nice place. I got here around 6:30pm on a Monday. And my server that helped me was Jaylen. Great young lady. And very professional. She was up to speed on Resturant health issues. Anything she did anything that deviated from food, she made sure she stopped and changed gloves. That was a plus. And the cook that brought me my burger, (the tall one) didn't get his name, he was able to explain to me some allergy info to me. Cause there are certain things I am allergic to food wise. I was riding my Can-Am Ryker around and stopped in for a veggie burger! What a gem this place was to find. The place was extremely neat and clean, well laid out with plenty of options for everyone. There service was top notch, with a welcoming feeling when you walked in. I had the veggie burger, one of the best I have had in a while. The topping bar was clean and full of fresh veggies and sauces for your sandwich (the gloved staff served you the toppings, due to Covid, which I loved). We were passing through from Kentucky down to Florida. Wow what a gem we found. There were four of us and between us we had a smokehouse burger, chicken tenders, fries, onion rings, frozen custard, and a milkshake. We all loved what we had and tried each other's stuff, it was all good, fresh and hot. I really liked the fresh toppings and all of the salts, and condiments. We will definitely be stopping by every time we come through.
