Pre-COVID experience I had totally forgotten about my less than stellar morning experience at Cheeburger Cheeburger several years ago, but I got a burger and fries there on our last trip through SFB and had a much better time. The burger combo only comes with a burger and fries, no drink, which is fine for me because I prefer water anyway. My meal was done quickly and all the food was hot, and the lettuce, tomato, and onion on the burger was fresh. I was pretty surprised given my last experience there. The burger itself was juicy and not overcooked, which was pleasant. The fries were hot and salty! Is this a 4 star cheeseburger? No. But it's exactly what I expect, but a little better, out of an airport burger. The fries were also that perfect crispy outside and soft inside. The staff was quick and friendly. The price is steep for what you get, but again, that's what airport prices are. So if cost is a worry, eat before you get there. Would eat there again if flying out of Sanford. read more

The best of a very limited selection of restaurants in the terminal. (I've really got to take a look at the other end of the terminal.). I had the chicken tender sandwich meal. The sandwich was ok, the fries were steak fries and not very crispy. The guy handing out the bags of food was friendly, everyone else was ok. read more

The burger is about average compared to most places, I wouldn't come out of my way to eat here though. If you end up getting a burger here, it appears to be made to order. The fries were just alright to me, overall this can do the trick if you need a meal before or after your flight. read more

There are very few options for food at SFB and the lounge was closed so I ended up here. The staff at the register were nice, but that's the best part. The food was pricey but meh. I got chicken fingers, fries and a soda. It was about $15. The chicken was okay, the fries were cold and tough and for some odd reason, all the straws were sealed shut on one end. I had planned on free lounge snacks, and next time I'll pack snacks and just dodge terminal food. read more

This was my first time flying out of Sanford and since it's small, the food options are slim. There was quite the line at Cheeburger, but it moved quickly and the staff member was friendly. They don't have the full menu, so it's pretty much just burgers, tenders and fries. It took about 5-7 minutes to get our food, but the tenders were left out of our order. Went to get them and they apologized and put a couple extra tenders in the bag, which was nice of them. The food was average fast food, nothing special. It was hot and we were starving. The bad thing is these airport prices. A sandwhich/tender, fries and drink for 2 of us was seriously $40. I am typically prepared for airport prices, but this was a little wild. read more

Only had the chicken tenders with fries, I don't know about the other stuff. The tenders are as generic as they can get, they are fried and the chicken is OK. Pricey, yes we are at the airport, but even forgetting about money, the quality and taste is pedestrian. They should invest in better quality food. read more

Flight delayed 2 hours. Bummer. Hey, let's grab some food. The bar/pub stops serving at 6. (Dinner time...that'll be another review) They told everyone they could go next door to cheeburger cheeburger for some good food. Typical walk up ordering with the added bonus of a cashier who would, with 20 plus families/people waiting, rather try and get her headphones "uncaught" in the cash register. Unbelievable. After having to repeat my order 3 times just to get her to input it, she informs me that it'll be 15 minutes for the basic cheeburger. Ok, what choice does one have. Visiting with the pile of people waiting, the "in charge" youth begins to hand out bags without looking at the numbers...(lower numbers ordered first, waiting the longest). This never ever entered his mind so people started in on him. Rather than be humble, and do the appropriate thing, he chastised the paying customers because whatever he is doing has to be right, right. Assumption here is that we could "never" understand the complexities of the cheeseburger handing-out career. Patrons became wordy and it was deserved. Super long story shortened, I waited 32 minutes for a basic cheeburger and it was marginal at best. Typical 1 star rating because of rotten attitude, lack of management, lack of people skills and basic mishandling of the public. What appeared to be a manager woman (in a different colored polo) walked back, did nothing, just let her presence be known and walked off. Didn't ask anyone how their experience was, nothing. A young woman came out to take over the misnumbered handing out of the food and had such a middle snit attitude that folks told her to go home if she didn't want to be here. Hence the perfect setting to enjoy a 2 hour flight delay. Heaven forbid any airport traveler be cutting it short and try and order from these clowns. Heck, they probably make money in orders NOT picked up because people pay first and have to hurry off to their flights. Geez Zero stars read more

We were in a rush to make our flight & they took their sweet time making the food. also we paid for two meals and did not get our side of fries for either. I will not be coming back here every again if it was the only food for miles around I'd rather starve. much rather spend $50 at McDonald's than this low level trash of a airport fast food chain. read more

I wish we could give half stars because I'd give this place a solid 3.5. There are very few options at this particular airport and this place looked the most promising. I got a burger and onion rings and my husband got a burger and fries. The onion rings were good. They were lightly battered and thin and they said they make them to order (whatever that means) and they were good. My husband got fries which I tried. They were hot and crispy but I thought they were a little starchy. The burgers were thick and were served on soft buns and had lettuce, tomato, onion, and your choice of cheese. We held the mayo. The burgers were pretty decent. Looked like quality beef but they were a little dry for my taste and they lacked in flavor. Other than that though, it was probably the best decision of food choice in the airport. read more

What an absolute waste of time and money! A really rude woman greets everyone with an obnoxious "NEXT!!!" Over priced, rather horrible food. They have no competition and it really shows. The food was so bad I ended up throwing it away... I wish they had more pride in what they do. read more

Surprisingly tasty and filling burger here. As expected for an airport joint, it's overpriced, costing $14 for the burger, fries, and Pepsi. So, minus one star. So you are stuck with a delay in Sanford airport. Your only choice is this hole. It is the absolute worst burger of my life. You get an old reheated overdone dry burger. Leftover bacon in a bin from breakfast time and old cold shriveled fries. They give you lots of ketchup to drown it all in so you can get it down. One star is for the Pepsi. $21.22. Surprise, the combo doesn't come with a soda! They get rude if you ask then how is it a combo? Pass it by!! Get some chips instead from newsstand. This place is a full disgrace to the airport. Really surprised at quality and quantity of this airport food spot. Sure, it's a little pricey, but for $10 each, my mom and I both got meals neither of us could finish. The portions were HUGE. And, really good! We both got chicken tenders with fries. The fries were super yummy. Crispy and salty and just how a fry should be. The chicken was also incredibly tasty. Tender and juicy on the inside, perfectly crisp on the outside.. And served piping hot! They were made fresh, for sure. Service was friendly despite how super busy they were as well. Not a bad option if you're hungry! You could probably share a chicken tenders meal if you're not starving, too! read more

Orlando Sanford International Airport is definitely not my favorite airport. There's not much dining in the airport, though in my opinion Terminal B is a bit better than Terminal A in this regard. Cheeburger Cheeburger Express is located in Terminal B, and it's an alright spot to grab a bite if you have to eat at the airport. It's a fast food burger spot, and the food is pretty greasy, but it's one of the few options available if you need to eat in the airport, so it's alright. read more

This is the most tasteless burger I've ever had in my life. Did they forget to put salt even ? I added ketchup mustard and mayo, but it was still not enough to give the beef patty ANY kind of flavor. $10 for a burger and fries with no drink, price is fair consider it's an airport. But the taste is the subzero level of below average. Do yourself a favor, walk over to the bookstore , buy a cup of your favorite cereal and a bottle of milk (plain, chocolate , strawberry), anything is better than this burger. read more

Absolutely horrendous service. I would review the food, but they didn't have anything to serve. This restaurant is located inside of security at the Sanford international airport. I had waited to grab some food until I cleared through security, and this place was open, and I was craving a cheeseburger. So I had proceeded to the order counter and requested a simple cheeseburger and a drink. They said the burger would not be ready for 15 minutes, as they do not serve lunch until 10:00am. Fair enough, I took a seat and patently waited. 10:05 come along so, again, I proceeded to the order counter. The woman tells me that the burgers will not be ready until 10:30 and they are done serving breakfast. Myself, along with everyone else in line behind me was quite unpleased. This restaurant should re-evaluate their procedures and hire new management. They definitely lost money today, and I'm sure this wasn't an isolated instance. Made me buy a burger 2x bigger than I ordered because they were "out" of the size I wanted. Then I hear the cook say they are pulling more. The person in line behind me got the regular size like I wanted and got his food before me. (they made me pay more for the big one) about 5-7 people who ordered food after me got theirs. I waited and waited until the gave me a RAW burger. I don't know how they went from "out" to serving other customers so fast but I assume it has to do with a frozen patty and a microwave. This is not the place to eat a medium raw burger, maybe at home, or a nice place but not this FAST FOOD frozen garbage that you are pretending so hard not to be. They have a sign that says they are not fast food. Trust me I wish they were. At least McDonald's is consistent. They were also out of ranch but had about 10 lbs of cooked chicken tenders sitting out on a table waiting for someone to order them (room temp) This place looks like a great place to get sick! Yes, as several others have said, the portions are huge. But huge does not equal quality. I had a massive, tasteless breakfast sandwich that sat in my stomach like a greasy rock for hours--something you want to avoid before getting on a plane.
