    Honey Butter Croissants

Very cool spot. I live about 3 hours away so this is the closest one near me sadly. Great music, the decor is nice, place was clean. Staff is also really cool. Got the ribs and tenders combo with fries. Also the Honey Butter Croissants are phenomenal, ordered a second round of those lol. As a NASCAR fan I couldn't help but think about the late Kyle Busch while we were there so I greatly appreciated the tribute photo they had of him on the table kiosk. Will come back again for sure if we're in the area. R.I.P KB #08/18 #rowdyforever

Always a good time and food is always amazing! The kids always eat all of their food! The croissants are always fresh and hot when they brought to the table. I really have no complaints.

Appetizers : Onion rings - could have been cooked a little longer but they were good Spinach dip with tortilla chips - very good Dinner: we all ordered the burger and fries , the burger had no seasoning, the french fries could have been cooked a little longer, so all three of us were disappointed to say the least. The drinks were subpar, light on the alcohol The service was good our waiter was very attentive and friendly. If you decide to sit at the bar, you have an awesome view of a huge fish tank, it is so pretty

My bestie treated me to a Birthday dinner here, which is my favorite restaurant. The service is always excellent and the food is amazing. We started off with an appetizer of homemade queso and bacon french fies. Of course we got the complimentary croissants drizzled with honey butter. For our main meal I ordered the full tack of ribs dinner with mashed potatoes and the broccoli cheese casserole and Kathy ordered the chicken tender meal with broccoli cheese casserole and sweet baby carrots and our drinks were their delicious peach iced tea. It was all so delicious and we will be back for more eats!

We sat at the bar and had a lovely dinner. Cheddar's has a menu that offers something for pretty much everyone. The bartender, Anthony, was very affable and provided great service. The food was very good too. Cheddar's is located right off I-83, making it a good option for eats if you're in or passing through York.

My "medium rare" 6oz top sirloin. Gristle and fat in every bite, honestly inedible. Shame because it tasted good.

The service was pretty decent considering how busy they were at 1pm on a Saturday, but there were definitely gaps, and the table next to us clearly wasn't happy about it either. But, aside from that, and a pretty awesome croissant and Caesar salad, my steak was horrible. I mean, 6oz, and almost none of it was edible. Terrible cut. There was so much gristle and fat that I couldn't even cut it off because it was basically all there was, and it was medium well, not medium rare. I was "afraid" to take any bites of it. The garlic butter and steak seasoning tasted great, which made the texture's shortcomings all the more disappointing. The loaded baked potato was alright, but something about it wasn't quite my favorite, possibly the butter, which tasted cheap. The grilled shrimp it came with were small but I was happy that there were about 6, good quantity and taste. For the price, $18.50, I should have known better, but now I do and I'll try something different if I come back.

Got here at 6:10 pm on a Friday and we were seated within minutes!!! For the first time we were seated along side of the bar. It was very cool as the a/c was hitting us on this hot day. We ordered appetizers, amazing! Ordered our entres also great! Service was good. It slowed down a bit after a large party came in. We enjoyed our time and dinner!

My husband found a sticker (literally) in his pasta. The server had his order remade and took it off the bill. Other than that everything was good. Our server was nice and attentive. The salmon and dip were delicious. Our wait was minimal and there was plenty of parking l. The bathrooms were clean and spacious

Our server, Anthony, made this regular degular food outing so much fun. Our food and drinks came out quick, he anticipated our needs for togo boxes before being asked. I enjoyed my steak, but I do wish the butter was melted instead of plopped on there. But flavor of the meat and the shrimp more than made up for it.

Cheddars is always a solid choice. Normal got to is chicken fingers but this time I went for a 16 ounce ribeye.

This one was easy. The croissants they put on the table are delicious. We devoured them. There is plenty of parking. We walked right in with 13 people on a Sunday and were pretty much seated immediately. Our server was amazing. Honestly, that was better service than I received in most fine dining places. The prices are so cheap and the food is pretty decent for what you pay. What's not the love. Most people I came with had boxes. My meatloaf didn't make it home. Get to cheddars with someone you love and have a good time.

A relatively short drive from our house yielded the most eclectic, fantastic place I've ever seen…read more I found this place on Yelp, but did not read any reviews on it, so wasn't sure what to expect. The parking lot was full. The decor out front was mismatched bistro tables and chairs, so I liked it already. One step in the door and I was astounded. Old cabinets, scales, canning jars on one wall, photos and old pressure cookers on another, and no two tables or chairs the same. Coffee and cold drinks are serve yourself. Pick your own cup from an assortment of mismatched cups. Even the menu had little gems hidden in the descriptions. I ordered my usual, my standard for judging a restaurant, chipped beef over potatoes, and my husband ordered a 'meat lovers' eggs Benedict. It was a bit of a wait for the food as there were only 2 people working, but I wasn't bored because there were so many things around the place to look at. One bite of my food and I knew it was a winner. Thick, rich sauce with more meat than I've ever seen in a chipped beef gravy, and onions in the potatoes. Steven's Benny had sausage instead of an English muffin, and meat gravy instead of Bearnaise. He loved his food as well. Becky's is only open weekdays. She said it was too busy on weekends, and she does just fine being open weekdays. I can believe it. When we left, the parking lot was still full. This won't be our Saturday stop, but now Steven's off on Wednesdays, we can make this one a new regular stop.

The service was excellent both evenings! Yes! We chose to enjoy dinner two nights in a row! We were thrilled, and blessed to have Meg as our server, both visits. Meg was attentive, engaging and very knowledgeable of the menu. She was a pure delight. The first evening we ordered the Meatball Sliders as an Appetizer. What incredible flavor and texture these meatballs have! All meat! The red sauce was wonderfully bright with true authentic Italian sauce. My husband and I shared the sliders and the Cubana sandwich. What fabulous flavors in the Cubana as well. The bread had a nice crunch on the outside with soft bites inside. Delicious!! The second night we enjoyed delicious Spaghetti and those wonderful Meatballs along with the best Chicken Marsala we've ever enjoyed. We will visit the next time we are in Carlisle.

Pitt Street Station offers a number of items that would work for vegetarians and gluten free…read morepatrons. As for vegans, well, there isn't much. Thankfully the restaurant is willing to accommodate (like leaving the cheese off a pizza) so there are vegan items to be crafted. It would just be cool if there were one or two items designed with vegans in mind. So, after some hocus pocus work, I decided on The Puttanesca Pizza and a non-alcoholic Cinnamon Vanilla Mule. The Puttanesca Pizza typically features olive tapenade, house tomato sauce, shaved Romano and rosemary gremolata. The waitress said it would be no problem to leave off the Romano. The Cinnamon Vanilla Mule contains cinnamon-vanilla syrup and ginger beer. Thankfully no substitutions needed here. The pizza at Pitt Street Station is bar style. A thin, chewy crust with the toppings layered on top. I found the crust to be pretty good. I like the combo of tapenade and house tomato sauce but did find it a tad salty. Can't imagine what it is like with the Romano added in. The Cinnamon Vanilla Mule was very good. I liked the balance of all the components. It was cool to see some non alcoholic cocktails on the menu and to have them be really good. I would return to Pitt Street Station if meeting up with someone because the place is accommodating to dietary needs but until some actual vegan items are on the menu it won't be somewhere I seek out on my own.

Darwin would be displeased with you. As am I, because it's never good to have a tired teacher…read moreresearch any kind of history on her day off. You see, back in 17th century England, private houses would open their homes to the public and sell food and beer. Hence, public house. Over time, they dropped the "lic house" and just called them pubs. Because you never dropped the "lic house" makes me think that you haven't evolved like you should have. And frankly, your food is proof. In fact, it even made me nostalgic. But not in the way you might think. You see, I loved making fun food concoctions when I was a kid. My sister and I would watch this corny show called "Zoom" on Maryland public television, where the kid hosts would make recipes sent in from all over the country. We'd make homemade peanut butter cups using Jif and semisweet chocolate chips. Or weird sandwich combinations like pickles and potato chips and cheese and jelly. The seafood egg rolls weren't the worst part of my meal, but they were definitely sophomoric--as if a kid chef-in-training was asked to whip something up from Chinese food leftovers. Seafood should never taste fishy, yet these did. One bite hit me like something that had been sitting a little too long above the waterline. Not to mention, they were laying on a greasy glob of some mayonnaise accompaniment disguised as a fancy garnish you'd see on MasterChef. One word: Ick. The ahi tacos. Oh boy. My mind fills with seawater the moment I think of them because they tasted as if they had been fished right out of the ocean and then placed on my plate. They were wet. Soaked. Drenched. The gelatinous seaweed clump on each taco wasn't culinary-forward, just unappetizing. I took one bite and wished I could spit it back out, but I reluctantly swallowed it. My esophagus is now aquaphobic thanks to you. The moment the coconut jasmine rice hit my mouth, my tastebuds took the red eye to the coconut tree haven of the Maldives. Normally, this wouldn't be a bad thing, but the rice and coconut had no cohesion. It tasted like my younger self dumping a handful of shredded coconut--the sweetened kind my mom kept in the pantry for the wool on her Easter-shaped lamb cake--into a cup of microwaveable rice. The only redeeming aspect of our meal was your kind, charismatic waiter. He was lovely in every way--attentive, sweet, and helpful. He would have been an incredible host on "Zoom." If only his personality made the food taste better. For your sake, I hope you learn to evolve your kitchen's offerings beyond the amateurish trio I experienced. If not, your restaurant's bones may end up fossilized alongside every other place that couldn't adapt.
