Placed a $70 to go order, went to pickup and the server spoke with me and sounded confident in which to go spot i was in and then comes out and gave my order away to someone else. Order was supposed to be ready at 645 didn't come out until 655 to the wrong car then at 7 brought me the other cars food. After realizing the mistake she went back inside and didn't come back until 708 asking if I wanted to remake the food. So about a 45 min wait after the original wait time for my order. Pretty ridiculous seeing as curbside was not busy and we clarified the number on the parking spot. Maybe ask the persons name before just giving the food to the car. The server even tried to call the other car back to give me my food. I've ran a restaurant franchise for 5 years now. You can't give food back to someone after they have already taken it. I was SO excited when we heard they were building a Cheddar's in Kissimmee (Loop area) which made it just a quick 20 minute drive for us. Sadly, it has been a huge disappointment! Amazing service and great food! 1. Have a painkiller, they are cheap and do the job of 2 drinks anywhere else. 2. Ask for Morgan as your server and tip her well!!! She's worth it. My hubby and I asked her about the menu, she was friendly, knowlegable, attentive and fast. I went to cheddar's today around 4pm for a birthday celebration. It was super busy after church rush of course but even so we only waited 15 minutes for a table for 10 people, I was surprised we didn't wait longer. The restaurant was packed so I assumed our service would suck but it didn't. Our server was a rock star. He went above and beyond and made our first time experience very enjoyable. The food was so yummy my god. It wasn't expensive like one would think, the decor was that of a high end restaurant. Drinks wernt over priced and they were very good size portions. Not a good experience at all. A few days ago i took my mother to have lunch at this restaurant because i've been there a few times and it was very good, but this time i am not sure if i will go back. First of all we ordered at 2:20pm and the food got to the table at 2:58pm and it was only 3 of us and the restaurant didn't seem that busy and if it was, i would expect the server explaining why is the food lasting so much. By the time the food got to the table it was cold and hard, the cheese wasn't melted because it was already cold and my chicken tenders were made of rocks. The server was (Lala ) i am not sure if it was her fault but she only visited the table 2 or 3 times, we hardly saw her. I tried to speak with the manager not expecting to get my food for free or anything because that's how restaurants managers mostly think, but because i used to love that place until that day. Then, i spoke with the supervisor on duty and she heard me but didn't express any type if apology, I don't think she cared at all, she only offered a free dessert which I didn't accept and she just left. Nice place to eat. It's kid friendly, though maybe a touch loud at times, presents great food at reasonable prices. I've tried a few of their different dishes. I enjoyed their fried fish tacos, their hamburgers are also quite good, my wife really likes their chicken tenderers and ribs combo where the meat just falls off the bone. They make a very good Monte Cristo sandwich and I am very partial to their Spicy Mango Mojito drink. They do tend to get a bit busy at lunch and dinner hours, so try for a late lunch or early dinner to avoid long wait times. read more

The food at Cheddar's is ALWAYS good. Bottom line for this location (and the reason for the 2-Star score) - it takes too long to get in and get out - not a good quality for a restaurant right by the airport. I can tell you that no one appears to be paying attention to tables as one party gets up, so tables sit needing to be bussed for an extended period of time; during heavy wait times, like lunch yesterday, this just seems inexcusable. Once seated, it takes too long for the server to acknowledge that there is someone at his/her table, and get drink orders going. It takes too long for drinks (not even alcohol) to get to the table. And, it takes too long from the time you order your food until it arrives at your table. Our waiter was friendly, yes, but yesterday was the third time IN A ROW at this location where I don't think anyone is mindful of my time, and THAT is an issue. I will stick with Cheddar's locations out of state that I frequent on business travel, but I'm marking this one off of my list. read more

Our entire party ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was amazing. The dinner was s10.49 and you get 2 HUGE pieces of boneless breasts. Too much for one person. My first time to go here after all the awesome reviews. Well such a huge disappointment. First we are told a 10 minute wait, with at least 10 open tables. Then 2 minutes later, they are ready to seat us. Get to our table and wait 10 minutes with no service. 4 more groups are seated after us in our section and they are all greeted by a server. This was our first curbside pickup meal and it was fantastic. This was a 23rd anniversary gift from a friend. We had steak, baked potatoes, salads and cheesecake. It is usually quite difficult to get a rare steak at any restaurant but these were done to perfection....hot and delicious and the sides were great. Went out with some friends for supper and the restaurant was moderately busy. We sat for over an hour after making our order to the waiter. Once we got the food, it was luke warm and was not even the complete order. The manager finally came out and said they were having problems with the kitchen getting the food out. I find that kind of insulting my intelligence considering people that sat down after we did had already gotten their food, ate it and left. The day I went to Cheddar's seemed to be one of the better days that week. This popular restaurant has been on my mind for about a month because I would keep passing it on the highway. When first pulling up to this beautifully lit restaurant, I could smell some of their chicken cooking and steaks sizzling. I went on a Friday night which is one of the most popular nights to go out, but I was surprised. I am a host myself at Outback and I know when a restaurant has a long wait or the employees are stressing over how busy it is, but the hostess was very sweet and told us it was about 15 minutes for the two of us. When waiting, I looked around the restaurant and the ambiance was very relaxing. There was music playing in the background, it wasn't too loud which I could still talk to my girlfriend, and there was a crystal-clear fish tank that could be seen across the restaurant. Before I could look around even more, the hostess said my name. The only complaint I have about the employee was she didn't allow us to get up and follow, she just started to walk expecting us to keep up. As a fellow host, I wait for people to get up and walk at their own pace. She didn't ask how day are was, which is basic protocol, but she did sit us very fast and in a comfortable booth right next to the fish tank. Not even 2 minutes later the server greeted us with a smile, and she asked us how we are doing and immediately wanted to take our drink order. We weren't in a hurry, but we could tell she wanted to take care of us in the best possible way. Even though she had a full section of tables, she would check on us about every 10 minutes which is superb. This restaurant was very new to me and my girlfriend, so we had no idea what the prices were but when opening the menu, we were shocked. The prices ranged from 6 dollars for queso and chips to 28 dollars for a big slab of steak. These prices were perfect because I am a college student and nowhere near being rich, but the prices were very reasonable. For an appetizer, we ordered the queso and chips. When this hot melted cheese came out, we were both very excited. I was very pleased when taking the first bite. This queso seemed like ordinary cheese soup but the taste was outstanding. It wasn't too spicy but had enough flavor to make your taste buds happy. The only problem with this appetizer was that the cheese came in a little bowl, so it was hard putting a whole chip in there. The waitress saw that we were running low on salted tortilla chips, so she asked if we wanted more. Even though we didn't want anymore, the question was very thoughtful. Shortly after, our entrees came out. My girlfriend, Kayla, ordered the Cajun Chicken and Shrimp Pasta and I ordered the Honey Dijon Mustard Chicken. Both these dishes were gigantic portions. The chicken I ordered had two chicken breasts packed with flavor and cooked perfectly and Kayla had a huge bowl of pasta. The one downfall of her pasta was that the pasta came with no chicken and there were only about four shrimp. I would also watch out for the tails because they were left on the shrimp as well. Even though the pasta wasn't the best prepared, it still had incredible flavor and was pretty spicy. When sitting in our comfortable booth fat and happy, the server asked if we wanted the check. She could tell that we were about ready to go and asked us very politely instead of just bringing the receipt. The total for Kayla and I was around 45 dollars with tip which is great price for the amount of food we got and the service we received. When leaving Cheddar's, the hostess told us to have a great night and we reciprocated it back to her and we left happy with a belly full of food. Overall my experience with this restaurant was very satisfying. I would recommend this place to almost everyone who is looking for a cheap, reasonable priced meal and great service. Even though were some hiccups in our experience, as there are in all restaurants, I would come back without a doubt. read more

I wish I could give this place a 4.0 but me and the wife are on the fence on this one. Our server Marilyn, was very friendly, accommodating and attentive which that alone will get them four stars in my book. But lets get into the things that dropped the rating down. We were seated and had our food 10 minutes, before we could get anyones attention, to get some silverware and that seemed to be a rolling trend from table to table. Now lets get into the food.... Appetizers: Wisconsin cheese bites... those things were great! So good in fact they didnt even need the sauce that came with it. We also got the butter crossiant, those things are nothing like Pillsbury those are the Real deal Holyfield! They were hot and buttery. Entrees: I got the two meat combo, half rack ribs (pork) and steak with two sides. Red beans and rice and macaroni and cheese. The Ribs were very tender and lightly coated with their house Bbq sauce which wasn't sweet and wasn't spicy, but a perfect mixture of the two. The steak was well done but not dry, perfect. The beans and rice reminded me of Popeyes chicken and because I like Popeyes chicken, it was good to me. I've eaten Mac and cheese all across the country and this was for sure box/bag mac and cheese. They need to take the extra step and add some milk, real cheese and butter and this will greatly improve the recipe. The wife had the chicken fingers and a half rack of ribs, broccoli casserole and mashed potatoes. The Caesar salad was good but tangy. The mashed potatoes and the gravy tasted homemade. The chicken fingers were alright but she didn't like the broccoli cheese casserole because it had too many bread crumbs. Dessert: I got the strawberry cheesecake, that thing was so small but it packed flavor. Alot of the food came with some type of sauce because the actual food itself lacked seasoning. And because I like my food to be seasoned and not overly compensated with sauce, we probably wont be back. read more

My BF and I dined here on 2/2/22 and the service was immaculate! From the moment we walked in. The hostesses were quick to greet us and get us sat. I said I'd prefer a both if they had one and as we were walking to an open both, that was very close to a large party with children and right next to a baby on a high chair, the hostess paused looked around and saw a different booth being cleaned. She asked if we'd like to wait a few minutes instead for that one to be cleaned. Of course I said yes! It's like she read my mind. I wouldn't have made a fuss over the original table and tons of other hostesses I've encountered would have just sat me in the clearly uncomfortable spot and walked away to get back to texting or talking to work friends. I really appreciated the fact she took the time , even if only a moment to make sure we sat somewhere comfortable. Especially after being on a plane all day. Our server came over right away. I can't remember her name, I want to say it was Caitlyn? She was brunette with glasses. She gave us the best service! She was so kind and just seemed like a genuine person. The food was way above par for what I was expecting. The server brought out our house salads and gave us plenty of time to enjoy them before bringing entrees. I've been to tons of outback's/Texas road house etc and that's always my number one pet peeve when that isn't done. The house salad was so good! When our food came out it was hot and fresh. Not like it had been sitting in a window while we ate our salads. The server was quick but still personable throughout the entire meal. The restaurant was super clean and had a more upscale vibe then I expected. The menu prices are very affordable and I just absolutely was not expecting that level of service and good food. So, I've been to Cheddar's a few times now and I must say each time I have not been disappointed. My husband and I love the atmosphere in Cheddar's, very cute and relaxed. We are always instantly greeted and so far we have not had bad service - exciting! ;) There are a few things I love about Cheddar's.... the great prices they have, fresh food, and delicious drinks (like their painkiller). I literally only need 1 or maybe 2 and then I'm good for my night! I see they do take pride in their food as the presentation has been quite impeccable as well. We usually start with their chips and queso, which you can get with our without ground beef for no charge! Their queso is like crack. Once you start you just can't stop. I've had their Asian chicken salad twice now, can you tell it might be one of my favorites? It is usually accompanied with a croissant that has a honey butter glaze on top - something so little but yet so yum! My husband got their smokehouse burger which came with fried onion toppers and bacon, soooo good! He also got their mac and cheese for a side, lets just say I am so glad my husband shares with me :) I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and trying other items from their menu. read more

A family was sitting near us and we heard them order their drinks and appetizer (chips and queso) Brittany brought the appetizer and went about checking on us and clearing the table next to the family of 4, Brittany while clearing that empty table ask the wife in the family of 4 if everything was alright and the wife said they were a little thirsty and Brittany snapped at her and said "I'm getting it!!"!!! In an extremely hateful way. I don't know if the family tipped her but I did not. I don't like people that have such a hateful attitude and I don't like witnessing that hateful attitude. I kept seeing local Yelp friends check into this new restaurant that had opened up and it piqued my curiousity. For a chain restaurant, I was very much impressed and hope Cheddar's stays consistent. We had a great experience. This location is quite aways from us but we decided to make the trek on a Friday night. It was pretty packed when we arrived but we were only given a 5-10 min wait time which was about right. We were seated in a very roomy booth on the perimeter of the dining room. My husband had been to a Cheddar's location before but in a different state. He decided to order this ginormous cocktail called "The Painkiller". It's so strong that the menu even states that they only allow a 2 order maximum per person. I swear it's enough for one person. I took a few sips but it was way too strong for me. If you're a fan of fruity cocktail drinks, get this....but it'll definitely sneak up on ya! With a huge cocktail, we decided to make sure to fill our bellies to soak up that alcohol. We started off with the Santa Fe spinach dip. OMG yum! Honestly, it's the closest thing to my faaaavorite spinach dip at Hillstone/Houston's. And it also comes with sour cream and salsa so you can mix and match! You gotta order this if you're a chips and dip fan! As if that wasn't enough food, I ordered the chicken tenders & shrimp combo which came with handbattered fried shrimp and homemade friend chicken tenders. Seriously, this stuff was really good and very fresh tasting. I know when something is reheated or has been sitting out. This food is the REAL DEAL. For a chain restaurant, I was really impressed. It was a lot of food and I ended up gladly boxing it up to go. If fried food isn't your thing, there are all sorts of other options like salads, pastas, burgers, and sandwiches just to name a few. The Baked Spasagna sounded really good and I'm looking forward to trying that one next time since they offer a vegetarian version. The prices here are super affordable as highest priced entrée being $14.79(steak and ribs). I liken this place to a grown up Chilis/Applebees. Our service was outstanding and very attentive. Had dinner there Sunday night with my family and was treated the worst ever. Our waiter was the rudest person I have ever met, as he argued with me about the seasoning for my Salmon, embarrassing me in front of other people there eating, then a lady came and took my plate without asking me, I told her not to take back my salmon to the kitchen she refused to give me back my plate and took it anyway , I told her not to change my Salmon that it was cooked right it just didn't have the seasoning I asked for, once they finally brought out another plate of salmon (that was different than the one I told her not to replace). After I was then approached by the same waiter and was treated like a burden the entire dinner. I always come here to eat but never again...
