    Homestyle Meatloaf

Really happy we decided to give Cheddars another try. Had an amazing rockstar server Shelley. Really took care of us even during the busy dinner time. Tried some new entrees in the meatloaf and smokehouse burger. The meatloaf was very good but definitely recommend the gravy on the side (very salty). Burger hit some great notes, especially the caramelized onions and smokey bacon. The kids meals are really great value. Huge portions for the kids and includes a drink. The place itself is always very clean. Did get a little louder as the meal progressed, but that was to be expected. Overall, really happy with our experience and highly recommend you ask for Shelley! Great Job!

Was seated fast during dinner rush and was able to get a quiet cozy corner booth. The food came out fast and met expectations!

Drinks and food are always good service was attentive and friendly! I think this place is always a go to when we want to eat somewhere not too expensive but not fast food and can still find healthy options!

My mom and I came here for lunch as she was craving the monte cristo sandwich. I haven't been since my last year, about 5 years ago. I opted for the salmon dish and very very impressed. It was very tender, filling and flavorful. We also had the spinch dip app. They gave a hearty amount of dip and salsa. My moms monte cristo really hit the spot. Our server was attentive and quick. It was a nice lunch with great food in a clean and fun environment.

First time to this place. Very popular as many people were out on Saturday night. Extensive drink and food selection. A little bit of everything. The complimentary Honey Butter Croissants were to die for!!! Hot, fresh and delicious. 2 people ordered the Sirloin Steak. One was perfect. The other was ordered medium rare, which it was on the inside but it was charred so badly that all you could taste was the char. Not so good. I had the Battered Shrimp with Loaded Baked Potato and Broccoli & Cheese Casserole. Yum!! Margaritas were big and plentiful. Ok, bye.

Well came to cheddars for lunch yesterday. Now I'm not a Chain restaurant person very often. Plus not a big American comfort food person either. Service was decent considering they were very busy. I got a Cajun chicken bowl. The red beans and rice were fine but nothing about it was outstanding or blew me away. Probably won't be back lol. But nothing against Cheddars at all as people seemed to love it. Just not my cup of tea I guess.

We love coming here! The atmosphere is nice, it's calming mood lighting with the cutest fish tank. The staff is nice! The menu is the perfect size, with still plenty to choose from. And you can't beat these prices!! The chicken strips are always huge and crispy. The sides are all amazing, it's hard to choose only two! Also they have the best ranch.

This was my first visit to a Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. Prior to visiting I had called to see if it was possible to get reservations and advised just to call ahead of time for a group of seven that would be coming in for lunch. Complementary parking is available right outside the restaurant Upon arrival we were instructed to stand until at least half of our party arrived, which would be another 10 minutes as we were so early. I have to admit this was a little frustrating as a restaurant was empty on Monday morning and did not make for a good first impression. We were fortunate enough to get a large table in the back corner of the restaurant, as the acoustics quickly deteriorated as the lunch crowd arrived. Could not imagine, sitting in the middle of the restaurant, and try to carry on a conversation. Our server was awesome, patiently explaining the menu and attentively catering to our special requests. The menu is varied to cater to all tastes. Food was prepared very well and I found the salad with salmon delicious. All the entrées served were fresh and quality. Recommend this location for a nice lunch or dinner destination. A full bar is available.

Nice and clean. It was pretty packed on a Wednesday but my friend and I were seated within 5/10 minutes. Last time I came here it was just "ok" I actually only came because a friend of mine invited me and I wasn't paying (lol) BUT to my surprise they have definitely improved the quality of their meals. I wasn't expecting anything amazing so I just ordered a bacon Cheeseburger and fries AND OMG!! It was sooooo darn GOOD!! Lol. my only con was that our waitress kept walking past us taking everyone else's order before she got to my friend and I. We had to actually say something to her but other than that the food was REALLY GOOD!!

Cheddar's is our normal spot we stop into for a bite when we're doing a Sam's Club run. It's been consistently good for us, feels a bit upscale even though it's on the more affordable side, and the staff is superb and always cheery and helpful! On our last visit, we had Victor as our server, and he was so pleasant and attentive, even on the busy Sunday we were there. We let the manager know how great Victor was and we heard them clapping for him in the back, which made me glad to know those little compliments don't go unheard :-) Each meal always starts with some fluffy warm croissants that are covered in drizzles of honey butter glaze. These are like a dessert almost, the honey butter is so good! You get two complimentary croissants, but you can also purchase two more for $2 in the appetizers menu, if you want more. Speaking of apps, our favorite is the Wisconsin Cheese Curds, which come with a house made ranch sauce for dipping. They are so incredibly tasty with their slight crunch and the creamy ranch adding a nice tang to each bite. I've had many cheese curds around town, and the thing I like about Cheddars' is they are not gigantic and impossible to eat in bite-size morsels. For entrees I usually get either the Monte Cristo sandwich (which comes in a fried little shell) or the salmon with bourbon glaze (and I ask for extra sides of the bourbon sauce - it's that good!) The salmon comes atop a bed of rice and you're able to choose two sides. My favorite of the side items are the broccoli cheese casserole and the buttered off-the-cob corn. I add my corn onto my plate, and it mixes with the rice a little and creates a new little divine concoction! My husband's favorite entree is the Caesar Pasta Salad, which is a normal Caesar salad, expertly dressed, and has lemony grilled chicken, but the difference between Cheddar's and other Caesar salads, is that this one also has pasta weaved throughout it! I don't know what genius thought this up, but it just works and you can't even convince yourself you really know why. Even though Cheddar's is a "chain" restaurant, the quality does not suffer for it, and you feel right at home with how welcoming and cheerful the staff are. If you're looking for a restaurant that's laid back but a little more upscale feeling, and super delicious but very affordable, definitely give Cheddar's a try!

I've been to Cheddars a few times and although the quality is not top-of-the-line, they always serve a great meal for the price. This is one of the most affordable dining experiences for what you get--a versatile menu, great meal, classy aesthetic, and good service. The complimentary honey butter rolls are the best part I've heard--I sadly was not hungry enough for mine. The salmon was slightly over cooked in my opinion, but blackened well. The sweet cooked carrots were my favorite part! Broccoli was well cooked as well. Overall a very balanced meal, and just what I was looking for and expecting. I would definitely come back for a lunch, and will be sure to try to rolls!

From a price to food ratio I would also give 5 stars as this meal easily can fill a grown man for 2 meals (My wallet is crying with tears of joy). Country fried steak was cooked to perfection, however because the white sauce was on it, the crunchy fried breading became slightly soggy over time (kinda like cereal sitting in milk over time). I would suggest getting gravy on the side so you can have both textures as you eat. The mash potatoes were solid... not the best in the world, not the worst in the world, if your a fan of mash potatoes it hits the spot on a cold day. Fried onion rings were super crunchy and breaded well so each bite had 65% breading crunch and 35% onion. Would get these onion rings over Texas Roadhouse onion bloom/cactus blossom (which I had the day before) as they had a 70% onion to 30% breading (so each time you grabbed onions the breading fell off. The cupcake was a dark horse (tasted like a sweet, crumbly cake with sugar lightly soaked in a sweet nectar that was experience in every bite. I highly recommend this). Pecan pie... I'm too stuffed, so I'll defer on my honest review on the pecan pie. Finally, the raspberry icetea was diabetically sweet, like it should be. If you want it less sweet, just ask for a water on the side and add water until it's your ideal sweetness. Note: I was nervous at first since there were so many bad reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Service (9/10) - My server, Jacklyn, was sociable/professional and gave her own personal recommendations to our party. I asked her, "Do you eat here normally?" She said yes, so I took up her up on the offer and requested that she to order what she would normally eat. Side Note: It's a good sign when the workers eat the restaurant food regularly and have great taste. Ambiance (9/10) - The service overall was warm and homey that reminded me of southern Texas hospitality. There was about 8-10 parties eating when we can to dinner rush hour, and there was plenty of seating with minimal wait (the main wait was for the freshly made food that took an appropriate amount of time to cook/serve). Final Thoughts - Go on Wednesday as they have free pies if you get a entree + drink (excludes children) and thepies are half off on Wednesday. I'll be coming back again.

I'm sure everything on the menu is good, but we came here for wings and boy did they deliver. The house brined wings are Fantastic. We did the extra hot bubba, which is their extra hot sauce fried then grilled In garlic Parmesan, which was so juicy and flavorful and kicked the heat to a perfect amount where it was flavorful but not overbearing. We also did the cactus ranch, which is the medium hot sauce tossed with cactus ranch seasoning, also tried it grilled. Another solid selection that provided a nice amount of heat and flavor. Both were so amazing I can't even say which one I liked more or which one was hotter. The wings are huge, juicy, and came out well-sauced. I filled up after five of mine (my husband tackled them all) and took the rest home. I don't know how to say best wings in Omaha, since I don't live there and haven't tried enough places, but these were some of the best wings we have EVER had, period. And we get wings almost everywhere we go. Also---the hand-cut (you heard me) fries aren't to be passed up on. We tried with the garlic aoili, so good, and a huge basket for $6. Our server was great. They are always busy, so give them some grace. We came during late lunch, got lucky and got seated right away, and it was still a revolving door of people, tables don't sit empty for long. They don't take reservations, and I understand why. They have limited space and when full, you sign up on the Board, there is a bar next door you can also receive a buzzer and go have a few drinks while you wait. I watched the waitress take the drink back to the bar, where the bartender (with his hair parted in the middle) poured the margarita out of and over the salted rim, into a different glass instead of making a new one. That same drink was then brought back to me. This isn't just poor service, it's a serious health and safety concern for me. There is a reason I asked for no salt. Rather than admitting a mistake and correcting it properly, they chose to cut corners and hope I wouldn't notice. If I hadn't seen it happen, I would have unknowingly consumed something I specifically asked to avoid. There were other issues during the visit, but this alone is enough to ensure I won't be returning. Trust is critical when dining out, and unfortunately, this experience showed that it's lacking here.

The food we had was actually pretty good, though! We started with the Crab Rangoon Dip and Bacon Cheddar Donuts. Both were super tasty, with the dip having a sweet chili sauce on it to cut the heaviness, and the cheddar donuts almost being like fried balls of mashed potatoes. Yummmm, My husband and I got two different entrees. I had the normal cheeseburger, and it came with the cute "72" branded on the bun. I am a sucker for good branding, so loved that. They were tasty, but we were so full at this point, we didn't really get to eat too many of these, just a nibble! I would say as long as you go in knowing this is not fine dining, and are ok with the bar type ambiance, then 72 Table and Tap is a good place to eat or catch a game on their TVs.

Our server did a great job, no mistakes, and we all got what we ordered quickly. Our dishes were delicious! Personally, I wish my baked scampi had come out as soon as it was done, as the oil and cheese had separated by the time I got it. Otherwise, it tasted great. The bread was nothing special, it would've been a fantastic meal if the side of garlic bread was truly delicious enough to eat it all. Overall, this is a pretty cheap place to get a decent meal. The vibes are good, and the drinks are cheap-- I especially appreciate that you can get cocktails by the picture, this is so rare!! I would definitely come back again for a casual dinner, especially when trying to get a place for a group.

They had some jazz playing on the overhead speakers but not too loud so you could hear the person you are with. They had a chandelier made of trumpets and trombones draped in carnival beads. We went just before 5 on a Saturday and it was not too full. It got quite busy by the time we left and I can see why! We usually do not get appetizers but I had to try the gumbo. I got the small so I could leave room for the meal. It was hot, and tasted very fresh and authentic. Our server, Alex, was very enthusiastic and quite knowledgeable about the many dishes they had. The hardest part for me was to choose what to get as everything sounded so good. I got the Andouille breaded red snapper, which was pan fried, served with a crawfish cream sauce, mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables (green beans and yellow squash). It looked as good as it tasted, which was incredible! My wife got a burger and fries which she said were also very good. We had to try the Beignets, which I haven't had in a very long time. They were hot and crispy, covered with a blanket of powered sugar, and served with a chocolate sauce and a whisky sauce. They were delicious and definitely reminded me of being back at Cafe du Monde in the French Quarter. We left full of some of the best food I had ever eaten, and felt like we were treated like family while we were there. This has quickly become my favorite restaurant in town and look forward to returning to try some of their other amazing looking food. If their other dishes are as good as what I just had, I will likely never want to go anywhere else.

It was disappointing to see another couple who arrived after us get served right away. The server we asked did end up helping us, but I did expect a manager to come over and at least apologize--unfortunately, that didn't happen. The food was not bad and definitely tasted made to order, though the jambalaya was a little dry. The restaurant was pretty loud, which is expected. On a positive note, the server we ended up with was very nice. Overall, I will not be returning. Another frustrating issue was with the entrées: you cannot substitute mashed potatoes and grits as sides, with fries or something else that you actually enjoy eating, which was disappointing. This is something the owner may want to consider changing.
