My family went on vacation and we stopped here on the first night as it is a familiar chain and we knew we would find enjoyable food on the menu. As expected, had a thirty minute wait for a table, (family of five, Saturday night) but once we were seated our server did an excellent job despite having a lot of tables to wait on in our area. Food is great for the price, although I will say that they do certain sides (broccoli cheese casserole, southern green beans) much better than others (mac n cheese, homemade black beans). This place is always crowded and after eating there, not sure why. Prices are quite low, service is OK, and food is absolutely nothing to wait in line for. I haven not reviewed for several years on this place. But the bartender for the least couple years, must be an on something. He does not acknowledge what is in my to go bag, he doesn't realize what i have or does not have, he has lost AT LEAST 15lbs in the last two months and it's Scary because he is already stick thin. I always want to tip waiters but when it is clear a waiter is on drugs from actions and appearance, I do not tip well to encourage a drug abuser and do not think I will be back. We hadn't been to Cheddar's in a while so we thought we would try it again. We will not be back any time soon. The inside of the restaurant is dirty looking. As we sat in our booth we could see that the floor appeared not to have been cleaned lately. As far as the food, I had the chicken pecan salad and I am pretty sure the chicken was precooked so not moist and very little flavor. My husband had the loaded potato soup and it seemed fine. His spoon was served at the side of the bowl but the waiter never bothered bringing him a napkin. Just too many other places to choose from! read more

We arrived, left our name and told a 45 min wait. We stood outside with others. The two young couples that arrived right before us, were seated right away before the ones inside. The young man told everyone how he gave the hostess $20 and she put him on top of the list. We finally got a booth with our two older grandchildren and another couple. The waitress took our drink orders and we waited. We also ordered appetizers at that time since the grandchildren were hungry. The chips came after 45 mins and still no silverware though we asked twice. The rolls finally came and were gone before the small bowl of soup for the youngest as an appetizer. We waited again and the food finally around after 90 mins, once again asking for one refill and silverware. The manager stopped by and told him how disappointed we were and that was the last we saw of him. The waitress told my husband they were cooking more broccoli and never did bring it out. When she gave us the check we asked for the broccoli to go, no sorry and no nothing. I doubt if we will return, because no one should have to ask for silverware three times and refills three times. Plus the one meal was not complete and took 50 mins to get a little bowl of soup. There were empty tables. read more

I ate here this past Sunday (7/14/2019). I usually get the bourbon glazed salmon, which is delicious. On this day I ordered the meatloaf, it's a new item. It was terrible. You get two huge slices. I should have known​ something was wrong as soon as I saw it. It is not ground beef. I don't know what the hell it is made of. I kept getting big chunks of something I couldn't chew, so I had to keep spitting it out. I know that's gross, but I couldn't chew it, less known swallow it. They do not need to serve this to any human, maybe dogs, or cats. Maybe it is a ​dog or cat.​ YUCK! read more

Cheddar's is just another American chain restaurant with nothing surprising on the menu. One good thing about the place is you can find several entrees for under $10. However, you have to pay $1.79 to have a croissant with your meal?? I had one with my salad once and I must say there are pretty worth that price, but I need my free carbs when I'm at a chain restaurant! read more

I've had mixed experiences at Cheddar's, but this was quite possibly one of the best experiences I have ever had. Our waiter Billy seemed quite new, but he was attentive and helpful, even after spilling a glass of water on us. The food was quite delicious and fresh. I look forward to returning. read more

Not a place to come and watch a ball game, that's for sure. My dad, brother, husband and I were up here earlier watching Monday night football and they told my dad he wasn't allowed to have more than 5 beers..he had been here for two hours waiting to meet us after work and trying to enjoy a Monday night...my dad is 59 years old and they cut him off after 5 beers over a two hour period, are you kidding me??? Went there yesterday afternoon for the 1st time with my boyfriend. We went straight to the bar so we had no wait. We both commented that we liked the decor and it looked nice and clean. We ordered the Texas Cheese Fries appetizer and we split the chicken tenders dinner. The cheese fries were yummy and the chicken tenders were just ok. A little too much breading for our taste. Got a side of broccoli cheese casserole and corn with the tenders. Both sides were good. I also had a Texas Sweet Tea(?) from the bar and it was super yummy! It was sweet tea vodka, Di Saronno, lemonade, and more vodka. I expected it to be small for $5.50, but it was actually huge! I guess that's why there is a limit of 2 per guest. lol. Evrything was good and the prices were great so I'm sure we will be back!! read more

It was a Margarita FRIDAY for me! Cheddars just opened here in Mt. Juliet and it has been so busy since the day it opened.. We got off early and decided to stop in and try it out. So glad we did. We walked in at 5 and there was already a wait so we just sat at the bar. The bar tender was excellent!! I had the margarita called Pain Killer and it did exactly that. The restaurant is very pretty inside. The atmosphere is outstanding. For dinner I had the griled Salmon with carrotts and broccli and Tommy had the chicken pot pie with a salad. Both entres were great and well priced. We will definitly be back if it is just for margaritas!! read more

We were first a little disappointed to find the chicken and waffles are no longer on the menu but reading the new menu we found a couple of good chicken and shrimp plates, with the server Josh's great suggestions chose the Key west with broccoli/cheese and a side salad. We truly enjoy going to Cheddars in Mt. Juliet. The wait time is based on the popularity of the restaurant. We have never had to wait as long as they say when you first check in. Food is always fresh and plentiful and the servers are very friendly. My only concern is that when I order a salad, they typically put the croissant on the edge of the bowl. I wish they would just put it on a plate. It is really hard to cut the salad without having to put the croissant on a napkin. We love Cheddar's and will continue to go back. read more

Great food! Very good for the money. The hostess stand is TERRIBLE. Every time we go in, it has taken at least 10 minutes to be seated. Even if there is no one there. Not because there aren't any tables available, but because none of the empty tables are clean and all 4 hostesses need to keep the hostess stand company. Once, the hostess tried to tell us that the outside patio tables weren't for eating on. Even when there were dirty plates & glasses on the tables. We just quit going. read more

This place stays busy but it doesn't usually take forever to get a seat. The restaurant is rather spacious so there is plenty of seating, indoors and out. There is plenty to choose from on the menu and you get large portions for a very reasonable price. The service is usually good and the servers are good at keeping drinks refilled. Good place to eat in large groups or eat after church on a Sunday. read more

The managers and staff are so nice! I accidentally left my leftover food to-go box on the table when I left, but when I came back to get it, they made a whole new order of it and put it in a to-go box for me! It was so sweet of them, and I got more food than what I originally had left. read more

This restaurant was not even half full tonight yet the hostess said the wait time to be seated was 15 minutes!! I asked why, and she said because of a shortage of help, several employees didn't show up. Well, you know there is a solution to that!... PAY YOUR HELP BETTER WAGES!!!! Just because the State mandates a minimum wage of $2.17 (or whatever) doesn't mean you can't pay them more! If you pay better they would care more. You lost our business because we walked out and went to another restaurant. DO THE RIGHT THING AND PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES MORE!!... If I could give a zero I most certainly would!! It's my sister and her wife's first Mother's Day. They have a preemie baby at 3 wks old at home, plus quarantine, so we thought why not get them a meal since we can't visit. Mind you I ordered the complete meal online yesterday May 9th to ne picked up tonight May 10th at 6p.. hmmmmm.. you would think that orders made online a day early would fall into a priority list to be cooked and some sort of organization would be put into place to have orders ready for pickup! Not only did they not have the order ready at 6pm. When a call was placed to the restaurant to ask why, the girl that answered hung up the phone and then on call back, put my sister on a long hold. When they got home with the food there was only half the order. The manager was spoken too about this he offered a gift card, (this being before they realized they didn't have all their food), but, when they had to come back to the restaurant to get their complete meal after driving out of their way to get it twice, he then, said he would comp the meal. THIS IS NOT THE POINT. The money isn't the point. What's important to me is that, he and his unorganized situation, took an hour and half away from a mother's day meal that was supposed to be special and easy. We are forgiving people, however, this situation should have never occurred, especially on such an important night for mothers. The rudeness of the staff and the fact that it took all that for things to be offered to be set right is not good customer service. They chose Cheddars for their Mother's Day meal, and they dropped the ball more than once on their evening!! read more

They have good food at a decent price. I actually found this place because I got lost and we wanted to stop for lunch. Turned out to have great food at a really good price so we kept going back. Today we ate lunch at the Cheddar's at Providence in Mt. Juliet. This has been our favorite place to eat since it opened. The last two times we have eaten there I got sick on the honey lime dressing as I ate the chicken tenders. Today I ate the chicken tenders but had the regular honey mustard dressing. My meal was not very good today as the broccoli casserole was burned a little and the chicken tenders had no taste at all. I did not have a good experience today.
