My cousin recommended this place to me, and I was a little skeptical at first, but oh my goodness, this place is DIVINE! It was very crowded, since we went on a Friday night, but we asked to sit outside and got seated immediately. The atmosphere was very nice. Inside, there's a huge aquarium, and we stood there and looked at it for about 20 minutes, lol. They had really cool decor. Then when we went outside, there was a big stone fountain, which was beautiful. Our server was very prompt and always made sure we had what we needed. Now, on to the food. :) You know how when you taste something REALLY good and you just can't help but let out a "MMMMMM"? Well that's how it was for me. I had the Texas Cheese Fries for an appetizer, oh goodness. They were amazing. And there were TONS of them. The peach tea - amazing. Grilled salmon - amazing. And the sides, ah! I had corn and mashed potatoes and broccoli cheese casserole. They were SO good! Plus the prices were surprisingly low for the quality :) I love this place and I'll definitely go again! read more

I love cheddar's food but the service here is way below acceptable. A month or so ago, I attempted to order food and sat on the phone 15+ minutes before hanging up and calling back to speak to a manager. That meal was comped (rightfully so) and I hoped it was just a fluke, so I tried again tonight. After another 15 min wait (I drove from Antioch to Mt Juliet in the time I waited on hold and had time to get a drink at mcdonalds), someone finally answered. This girl, Jessica the bar tender, told me she had no control over it and they were busy so they can't monitor the phone. When I arrived I spoke with the hostess who apologized profusely and got a manager. The manager was also apologetic and immediately went to solve the problem, but then I never saw him again. I then had to stand at the bar and waited forever for the bar tender to address me. When she did (same girl from the phone) she continued to deny her knowledge of a ringing phone (the hostess said she was told twice) and continued to have a rude tone of voice. It will be a long time before I give Cheddar's a chance again. read more

I have frequented Cheddars restaurants for years in several cities. This experience was awful. My family and I sat for 20 mins and never got acknowledged from the servers. They did frequently check on the tables around us and next to us though. If they had at least greeted us I would have stayed. No apology just excuses. Will never be back to this place due to poor service. I would give this a negative rating if it allowed it. read more

i've seen many bad reviews on here about customer service and i'm here to squash those reviews. i came here nervous the customer service was going to be bad and it was actually great. we got to Cheddars at 5:30 and we were seated and waited right away. the waiter and workers were really friendly and kind and the food was great. i guess it does depend on what workers you interact with, but all the workers we saw were splendid. read more

Not terrible service, but NO service. This should really be ZERO stars. Went there at 9pm Friday Night was seated on the patio right away, hostess said "your server will be right with you" - Never Happened. Watched several male and female servers inside talking, and mulling around, had a server deliver food to a table on other side of the patio after asking us if we order it, and another one deliver drinks to a table, but no one even acknowledged we were even there. The guy who was delivering food at least ask us a question, but you would have thought he might notice our menus sitting on the table. Finally after 13 minutes, I told my wife, we were NOT staying. On the way out went to the hostess' stand, stood there while she chatted with a server. Hostess first acknowledged another couple that came in then went to seat them, I then told the server standing there staring at us, to please tell her manager we were leaving. We waited 13 minutes and no one acknowledged us or came to serve us. Went there with a party of 6 during lunch and the waitress seemed very distracted. She wasn't guest oriented and the device reflected it. Had long wait periods for drink refills and took a long while for her to come back to take our order. Seemed that the employees were having a party of some sort in the extra room, so we assumed she was distracted by that. I have yet to return to this location due to the pricing of the menu and the service we all received. Food was good and came out within a reasonable amount of time. read more

This location was very good! On this night, the restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly. Our party of three were seated quickly and the waitress was quick to come get our drink order. Two of us ordered salads: ceasar and bleu cheese. Both were tasty, ample size, fresh, with an appropriate of dresssing each. The men both ordered ribeyes, and I ordered the salmon. The steaks were cooked correctly and both said they tasted good for the price. My salmon was delicious and huge. I was able to make two meals out of mine due to leftovers. read more

I've started to just turn down offers to go to American chain restaurants because they're all so over priced and the quality very cheap. With Cheddars at least the prices were very reasonable! I couldn't believe I got a pretty good chicken pot pie and a side for $7.5!! You could easily find the same dish at a similar restaurant for $14. No, it's not out of this world amazing, but I would much rather prefer Cheddars over O'Charlies, Chilis, etc. Also their drinks wers reasonably priced and actually tasted like something instead of tasting like watered-down juice. My prior review was mistakenly placed under Cheddar's it was meant for Martin's BBQ not Cheddar's. Everytime I visit Cheddar's service has been good. Food hot and fresh. Martin's on the other hand is hit and miss. Definitely overpriced for what you get. read more

Don't come here if you have a party larger than 6...the staff was too incompetent to even put us in 2 booths in a row. Even upon request our server told us no because that would put us in a different waitresses section or she would need to get a bus boy...excuse me we didn't come to cheddars for the bus boy not to do his job or for us to arrange our party to your servers sections. We ate here a few weeks back, and we were very impressed. We almost didn't even go in because there were so many people waiting outside to be seated. They told us it would only be 15-20 minutes, so we thought we would wait and give it a try. We are so glad we did. They had us seated in less than 15 minutes! We had the spinach dip appetizer, which was excellent. I had a chicken and mushroom dinner, and my wife had a chicken and shrimp meal. Both were excellent, and the prices were almost unbeatable. My family and I had a terrible experience there this last Friday, all over my husband using a Mexican ID to buy a margarita. I have to make clear that this ID was issued in the USA by the Mexican consulate. This isn't even the worse part, how is it that I can go to another Cheddars nearby and not have this same issue? Shouldn't the same food chain have the same regulations? My husband has used this same ID not only in another Cheddars but at many other restaurants. I believe this issue should be looked at seeing as how there are so many Hispanics in the USA many with this same ID. I will no longer go to this Cheddars, I would rather drive a little further and get the service we deserve. I don't wish this kind of treatment on anyone else, the feeling of discrimination because of where were from. read more

we had dinner yesterday at cheddars in mt. juliet tn. the food was delightful and mostly cooked properly. however a fly walked right across my rib-eye steak, the server was at the table and saw it. he apparently notified the manager who came to the table with a very cavalier attitude and informed us she had "sprayed this morning". i was only wondering if there were flys that early in the day, what would the kitchen be like. we also understand why this cheddars has only 3 stars when all others have 4 and a half to 5. we wish them all there better manners and good luck in the future dixie r read more

I have no complaints about this restaurant. The food is always great, you get a ton for your money and they are very friendly. WE have 3 kids, but two of them can share a kids meal. And I usually have to take half of my meal home, too. Great restaurant. read more

I love Cheddar's...in Hendersonville. Which is unfortunate because I live in Mt. Juliet. I have always felt like the service at this location was slow. But I have overlooked it in the past because the servers were polite and attentive, and the food was aways hot and delicious. Tonight was a disgrace, though. Our server, Carolyn, was anything but attentive. We waited forever for our salads, couldn't get fresh drink refills to save our lives, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold and incomplete. One person in my party asked for gravy on her country fried steak when she ordered it, but had to ask again when it was served without it. Ten minutes later she received it, after her food was already cold. The manager's solution was to comp our salads which were only a dollar apiece. Thanks, pal. That sure made up for my ice-cold dinner. It's worth noting that we were one of only four tables seated in the entire restaurant. Absolutely no excuse. read more
