    Rise & Swine Omelette
    Elizabeth N.

This is a cute diner-style place in Mt Juliet. It's old fashioned on the inside and a bit dark. We were greeted upon walking and sat immediately. Our server greeted us promptly and was very attentive during our dining experience. I got the Rise & Swine omelette with a biscuit and my husband got the loaded potato hash. Both were good, the potato hash had way too many tortilla strips on it, they had to be removed to find the rest of the food. It could benefit from a touch more scrambled eggs as well. The omelette was good, nothing spectacular, could have also used more cheese, but it was loaded with meat. The fresh biscuit was good and they offer fresh jam as well. I thought it was strange that there is no salt and pepper on the tables and I had to ask for that, and the hot sauce was brought to us in a small cup instead of the bottle? Overall it was a good experience and value, just don't expect anything fancy.

I've eaten here a handful of times. It's certainly a good option in MJ. I've tried everything from their biscuit board, pancakes, and even grits. I have no complaints. The interior is dark offering table and booth options. I only wish they had better warm drink options. They don't even offer flavored creamer. I think adding a barista would elevate the experience. As far as service go. I have never been blown away.

Great brunch spot in Mt. Juliet! We tried the Farmer and the Goat omelet, the Hot Piggy Benedict. Everything was delicious and well executed. The omelet was flavorful and filling, the Benedict had the perfect balance of savory and spice, and tried the old fashioned cocktail which was smooth and well made. Relaxed atmosphere with great staff, solid food and drinks. Definitely worth a visit!

Wait time to sit minimal, normally always start out giving reviews of the food. However, the atmosphere in the ambience of the papermill is far above most that you come across as a mom and pop restaurant.10 out of 10. Omelette is fluffy serve warmly with butter and your choice of jam with toast or a biscuit 9 out of 10. I found my waitress to be very kind warm and pleasant to have as a waitress and enjoy your job. 9 out of 10. Highly recommend this restaurant the management team seems to be engaged with all aspects of the business yet without an overbearing presence.

    Paper Mill Blue grass jam

My favorite night is Monday nights blue grass jam and I had a delicious Bloody Mary that was $16 before tip so this is a bit pricey to eat and drink. The atmosphere is upscale country with a down home vibe and is comfortable and relaxed. The staff are very attentive and keeps the drinks flowing and you can get your food to go. Plenty of parking and table seating.

First time here, serve was good and our waitress was friendly. We both got the meat loaf, fried okra, cream corn, and green beans. Everything tasted good. Only wanted two sides but the server said the price was for three and would be charged for three regardless. The price for the plate was $15.50 which we thought was very pricey. Will not be returning for dinner maybe breakfast if we go back.

Second time visiting this place when in the area and the food was just as tasty as I remembered! Went on a weekend morning so there was a little bit of a wait but was seated after 20 minutes. Worth it for sure for both the yummy food and great service. The banana bread is a must! Cute vibes that are simple and cozy. Great spot for breakfast or brunch!

    Grits Bowl

I went here a few days ago for a late breakfast. I had the grits bowl which has grits, smoked gouda cheese, spinach and a special made tomato sauce on top. This tasted great. I loved the idea of having fresh uncooked spinach added to the dish which was different from my previous visit. The restaurant is roomy with good spacing but I didn't like the booth. The booths are joined back to back with no separation; meaning we could hear the conversation of the family at the adjacent booth as if they were at our booth. Service was okay nothing stood out about the service either way.

Farm and goat omelet with egg whites, sweet potatoe hash, peach jelly and sourdough

They have unique blends of ingredients I have never seen anywhere else and I love that. Our party of 5 were all pleased with their food and 3 had leftovers. The Gouda grits are delicious, rosemary gravy was so good. The chicken and waffles has a black pepper syrup that was interesting and quite good. The option to use egg whites was there and I took it; i so appreciate healthy options. The sweet potatoe hash was yummy and basically tossed with onions and peppers. The staff was hard working; they had pep in their steps.

Right away we were welcomed and seated. Our two servers were attentive to us and joked around & laughed with our kids. They both commented to us more than once that we have a beautiful family. We felt so comfortable right away & it made for a very pleasant evening. The food at Memo's is unlike any Mexican food I have tried before. It was delicious, authentic, & unique. We tried the mole sauce (my first time ever trying it!!) over chicken enchiladas. It was earthy, sweet, & complex. I feel like I crave this sauce now! I've never had anything like it. Our kids enjoyed Memo's version of chicken, cheese, & rice. They really enjoyed it! The portions are a little small overall, but we all left satisfied. We saw the owner come out and say hello to some patrons. This restaurant is very special & it's hard to believe we have a place like it in Mt. Juliet.
