Fried catfish (all you can eat on Fridays)! Fried okra, green beans and mac'n'cheese. Almost forgot the delicious hush puppies!

The food is fantastic, no nonsense southern meat and three. The folks that run the place are great and very interactive like good country people I grew up with. It's an unassuming atmosphere, typical Southern charm. You're here for the food, remember? Under $15 for a meat and three in this town is becoming unheard of, will definitely be back more often.

Went for a late breakfast. Everything was fine. Eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes all tasty and cooked to order. Might be a place to avoid if you have special dietary needs... but I enjoyed the food and will be back when I'm in the area.

I love old fashion quaint family diners. So when we found this little place just outside of Nashville we were excited by a chance to enjoy a traditional southern breakfast and an authentic environment. Seemed great at first with lots of signed photos of celebrities on the wall and kitschy country decor. The waitress seemed friendly enough letting us plug in our phones and helping me figure out if there was any dairy and their margin packets. But that was where it ended. I had very specifically explained to her that I cannot tolerate any dairy, that it literally makes me quite ill but she still buttered my toast and had to remake that and then my eggs came out sopping in yellow forcing me to have to ask again if they had used butter. Now if the place had been busy, I would understand how she could make these mistakes but now it's clear to me why we were pretty much the only ones in there. So I wait again while my toast and grits are getting cold for them to remake my eggs. I'm thinking, yay finally and am to enjoy my favorite go to comfort food. Grits eggs and toast has been my go to favorite meal my whole life and I've not had much opportunity to enjoy it since traveling so extensively most of the time. But oh my gosh, looks can be ever so deceiving. The grits were beyond inedible. The most I could manage to choke down as two bites. All I can figure is that they try to reconstitute or something and it's only 7:30 in the morning. My daughters home fries are dry and boring squares with no flavor whatsoever and she also is leaving them virtually untouched. This place does not deserve to stay in business if this is typical.

Fried catfish. The greens come reccomended.

Bad food. Tastes like it's out of a can or box. Not homemade like a meat n two should be.

Located in the Gulch, it was just a short Uber ride from our downtown area hotel. Before we were even seated we were already enchanted with the adorable 'cow bee' t-shirt. Get it? Milk and honey? Cute huh? Our table of 7 women ordered a variety of brunch sandwiches and biscuits. While everyone enjoyed their meals, I can only give specifics on what I ordered. I had the Mr. Croissant with home fries, and because I wanted to try the biscuits, I also added a biscuit with honey and butter to my order. The croissant and biscuit were great. Next time, I'd give a miss to the included home fries and opt for the fruit instead. My vanilla bean latte was very good and my friend loved her mocha. To celebrate the Birthday Girl, we ordered two bottles of champagne and two flights of juices to make mimosas. We all took homemade strawberry pop tarts to go. We loved the vibe, service, and food and will happily return the next time we are in Nashville!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by one of the sweetest hosts, who made us feel genuinely welcome. We had made a reservation, and our table was ready immediately, making for a smooth and stress-free start to our meal. I would highly recommend making a reservation at least a day in advance--two days if you're visiting on a weekend or during peak travel times. It was clear this place is popular, and for good reason. Our server, Cody, truly made the experience unforgettable. Hands down, he is the best server I've ever had anywhere. He took the time to thoroughly walk us through the menu, explain the daily specials, answer all of our questions, and offer recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire dining experience. We ordered the pancakes, omelets, and of course, the famous biscuits. The biscuits absolutely deserve the hype! They were warm, buttery, fluffy, and practically melted in your mouth. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the omelets were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated is that while Loveless Cafe offers a supper menu in the evenings, breakfast is served all day. That's perfect for anyone like me who believes breakfast tastes good no matter what time it is! It's easy to see why Loveless Cafe has become such a Nashville staple. Between the warm Southern hospitality, outstanding service, and incredible food, this was an experience we'll be talking about long after breakfast. If you're visiting Nashville, or even if you're a local who hasn't been yet, put Loveless Cafe at the top of your list. And if you're lucky enough to have Cody as your server, you're in for an exceptional experience!

Even sampling some of their famous country ham from Toby's plate was a memorable experience. I only wish I had a bigger stomach because the portions are just so massive here. The server couldn't have been nicer. He was even the one to suggest to us that he preferred the pork chops over the ham. That was such a good choice to me. Sadly, we didn't have coffee this morning because we had a long scenic drive and didn't want to make any more stops than necessary. But I bet he would've been right on the ball with those refills. The ambiance was great. It was such a nice layout and had interesting decor that made you feel you were a guest at their house. It also had that perfect occupancy where you could tell how popular they were but not so crowded you had to wait for a table. I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in Tennessee because this place is a great find.

I'll start off by saying I'm not the biggest fan of pancakes, nor cinnamon and have to be in the mood for both. Today happened to be the day. I tried their pancake sampler, with cinnamon, Caribbean and banana bread pancakes. They were all good, fluffy, airy and flavorful. Banana bread with their maple syrup, Caribbean with cinnamon. But, their cinnamon pancakes were amazing!! Those were definitely the winner!!! Best pancakes I've ever had. Their three pig omelette was pretty bomb as well. I got some of their sausage gravy on the side, to douse the omelette and that was definitely the move there. I think this is the first time I didn't need to use cholula for flavoring. The location is centralized, set up nicely, with huge open indoor space with plenty of seating outside. The service was great as well. Attentive and fast. All in all, I wish I had the time to come here yesterday, so I could try something different today. But, I took the place for everything it had and it definitely delivered. Highly recommend and I will be back, when I'm in the area for sure!

Just above ordinary for me even with the pourable cinnamon topping. I also ordered an omelette where almost all the ingredients were piled on top. Maybe this location isn't as good as the original. I think Nashville could do better than this though.

Our table near a front corner was also pleasant and comfortable. Gayle and Erin started off with a pitcher of Mimosas, while I went for OJ and Coffee, and Jim Coffee. Our selections involved 2 orders of Waffles, 1 set of Lemon/Blueberry Pancakes, and French Toast. Meat sides were evenly split between Andouille sausage (for a little extra spice) and bacon, while eggs were either poached, scrambled, or over easy. I especially appreciated that my "Poached Hard" request came back spot on. The Pancakes/Waffles/French Toast were all light, tasty and well served by the maple syrup. I happened to not be a pet person so this was a struggle for me + I felt bad for the dog. All those dirty feet walking on that floor and that dog was eating off of it. Didn't feel right. They did mess up our bill and we ended up realizing after that we over paid. Overall I do not recommend and wouldn't go back.
