The food was excellent. As well as the service. Even though we ate late. The manager was good at getting things done for us because they were out of rice.

We chose this spot mainly due to its location, diverse menu and the fact that it was open on Sundays. While I respect any business that chooses to close on Sundays, I'll say that people need to eat on Sundays as well! If I lived here, sure, I'd be happy to eat at home... but we're traveling and don't have the ability to cook! So kudos to Cheddars for being open. I originally ordered the herbed chicken but our server came back to inform us that they were out of it so I had to switch to something else and I chose lemon pepper chicken. I'm thinking the herbed chicken would have been better, since by its description, it was actual pieces of chicken and the lemon pepper chicken was more of a pressed patty made of breast meat. Not horrible, but not great either. The caesar salad was good - nice fresh lettuce and parmesan (I told them to hold the croutons)... the dressing was heavier than I'd like - if I had to do it over again, I'd get the dressing on the side. The croissants were delicious! Overall, this was a "mission accomplished" type of stop. Nothing fancy or special, but I don't think they are trying to be fancy or special... the servers were friendly and the place was clean. A solid option for someone on the go or someone who just can't or doesn't want to cook at home.

202402161810 Strange. Friday night with no waiting? Well, it is raining. Anyway, we sit quickly & Isaiah brings us Buttered Croissants, nice & warm. The Painkiller is a favorite drink & I'm trying a Maui Margarita with a shot of cactus juice. Mmmm-buddy. One's a tropical delight & the other is a coconut pineapple drink. Look 'em up. The Monte Cristo is a classic favorite. Smoked ham, smoked turkey & cheese, battered & fried, with raspberry preserves & powdered sugar. Boo-ya! Enjoy your meal in low lighting, high booths, funky spinning fans & a big fish aquarium. Clean place, fine foods, good drinks & Isaiah is great.

This is a popular place to eat since it opened in MJ and rightfully so. The wait isn't horrible. You can join the waiting list online by the way. The service is outstanding. The food is delicious. You get all of this for a very fair price as well. The wife and I both had a nice dinner for under $40 before tip. We had to wait all of 2 minutes to be seated. We were immediately greeted by a top notch waiter. They bring out these delicious complimentary sweet croissants that are really more like pastries. The blackened salmon was delicious. The wife loved her meal of pineapple chicken and shrimp. You can't go wrong at Cheddars!

Food was consistent, and croissants served for free were delicious. Service was definitely below par. Overall just a mediocre spot to eat, but a large menu which would be good for families or large groups.

I've eaten at Cheddar's in Alabama too many times to count, and I'm rarely disappointed. Though it has been a few years since I've been, I'm glad this location did not disappoint. My family always order the New Orleans Pasta, so since this was my boyfriend's first time trying Cheddar's I suggested he try that along with the butter croissants. Both were a hit and he loved it! I ordered the pasta as well and was stuffed after eating everything. We ordered curbside pickup which was an easy process and the food was well packaged. Based on his moans of joy from the pasta, I'm sure we will be back soon!

We just happened to arrive later in the evening on a weeknight with no wait. I ordered the pork mojo, but when it arrived it was the fried pork chop. I alerted the runner that I had ordered a different pork dish. She immediately went to the server who checked and had made a mistake and put in the wrong ordered. I said it was no big deal and that I would take the pork chop. A gentleman noticed the interaction and sprung into action. He let me keep the pork chop and brought out the mojo pork. I was later told he was the owner. When our check arrived later he comped both the pork chop and mojo. Excellent service will make me a repeat customer over and over again. Now to the pork mojo. It was delicious. The kind of dish that I will seek out in the future. The rice was fluffy and moist and the cilantro dressing was creamy and yummy. It was very well balanced and hit the spot. Wings were very good, best ive had in Mount Juliet so far, burnt ends were good, we asked for no jalapeños but still got them anyways, had to pick them off since we arent fans of anything spicy. Ribs were tender and cobb salad was a great option minus the guacamole, its obvious its not made fresh and most likely from a jar i expected freshly made guacamole at a restaurant but still decent to eat. Drinks were really good! My boyfriend got the old fashioned and i had wine then a cocktail. Service was subpar, waitress didn't give refills on water and very passive instead of proactive. Will definitely come back to try it out again.
