I came in today and the service was great. The food was delish! Zoe was our server and she did a wonderful job!

We went after church last Sunday estimated seating time was 10 minutes for two but seating took only 5 minutes or less our waitress was so nice and attentive. Husband had the eggs Benedict with home fries and a side of the cinnamon roll pancakes. I had Keke's special -waffle , scrambled eggs and sausage. I have noticed Keke's have been popping up around Gallatin, Hendersonville,Donelson, Hermitage and now in Mt. Juliet. We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. The Mt. Juliet location just opened about a month ago. The Service was good and the staff were friendly. They serve breakfast all day and lunch starting at 10:30 am. It's nice and clean inside but it's a little cramped. They have a covered outdoor seating area. The menu says their pancakes are award winning, famously LARGE, and made in small batches. The pancake was Huge !! It was a darn good pancake. I tried a bite of my wife's. I would definitely go back for breakfast and I will probably go see how their lunch is at some point. read more

At first glance, the menu is pretty basic breakfast/lunch diner options, but WOW with the presentation and actual quality that comes out of the kitchen. The cheese grits were a little cold but are actually REALLY cheesy grits unlike other places that throw just a little cheese on top. The fruit on the pancake was incredibly fresh, with a setup that was almost too good to eat. Our server timing was off & kept disappearing, but the other staff did a good job stepping in, & everyone encountered was friendly. Not that they can do much for it with the booths, but the layout is terribly narrow & like a hamster maze, where it is hard to get around without bumping into other staff or patrons. The food was good, specially the sausage took the cake for me. My French toast was good, but the bread itself didn't have too much flavor, only the toppings did. The service was good, it took them a while to get stuff to our table. I like the chill environment, and my family seemed to enjoy it as well. read more

I would say that it was good, but just good. Granted it was a busy Sunday morning. My potatoes were not piping hot, but my omelette was delicious as was the toast. When I saw the stuffed toast come out I knew my son was going to tell me he was hungry halfway through and I was right. The meal reminded me of IHOP. We had a great experience at Keke's! The menu was huge but everything sounded so good it wasn't a problem. Both my husband and I got the Keke combo. I got it with pancakes, eggs and grits and he got it with French toast, eggs and sausage. Despite it being busy and a bit of a wait to be seated, once we were the staff was friendly and attentive. We were able to chat with the manager Robin while we were there and she was so accommodating and helpful! There's the indoor dining room and an outdoor patio seating. The restaurant is bright and welcoming. If you're in the Mount Juliet area, definitely check this place out for all day breakfast! read more

First time here for late breakfast/lunch. Got the tuna melt sandwich, was asked what kind of cheese I wanted. I was served tuna salad on toast, no cheese, no melt. Why call it a melt if it is served cold, just the warmth of the toast. And what up with the pickle? Looks like it was reused from some other plate. So tried this new place based on a discussion with some friends. Being new and a Sunday, the after Church crowd made for about a 30 minute wait. However, it became apparent that there isn't enough staff and the kitchen is too small for the size of the dining room. While we received our drinks fairly quickly, other tables weren't served as quickly as we were. As in, a busser noticed that a party of five hadn't even had one of the wait staff welcome them and take their drink orders. Our meal took about 45 minutes, so don't plan on a quick meal based on our experience. My Western Omelette, which was supposed to be a specialty, was unimaginative and average. The Home Fries were a bit under cooked and didn't have much in the way of seasoning nor any onions or anything that would make it seem anything but thinly sliced russet potatoes. The toast didn't come with jam or anything to make it anything more than plain buttered toast. Décor was fine and given that it could seat 75 -90 people, bathrooms seemed small. Additionally, it was warm enough outside that it wasn't that comfortable in a booth by one of the large windows. As an aside, that other table finally got served their meal...about 45 minutes after they sat. But their meals were missing stuff they ordered (despite the fancy electronic tablets used to take the orders). At this time, there are better brunch places for the same price point along Lebanon Road. Not saying this is a bad place but rather this is a place in its early days, so manage your expectations. read more

Opening weekend at Keke's in Mt. Juliet was a testament to how welcome this addition was on the North Side of town. Lines out the door and lots of happy diners waiting for this regional chain to serve up a menu of classic breakfast fare and (after 10:30am) a full lunch menu. Friendly servers and greeters politely managed the crowds while a steady stream of full folks left with stacks of to-go boxes. The interior is bright and cheerful, with lots of light and some decorative partitions to add a little decor. Lots of options for vegetarians, including the Choose-Your-Combo option that lets you build your own. Not as much for vegans but certainly some standards like home fries, plain grits, and fruit. (Also - the potential for a very limited cocktail menu with pre-canned mixers and mini bottles of bubbly.) read more

Let me start by saying the services was exceptional. We had Annabeth for a waitress and she was great. Was on top of keeping my coffee filled. This is the kind of place I have been looking for to have breakfast since I moved here over 20 years ago from Chicago. They haven't been open very long so they're still working out the bugs. My wife and I had almost identical meals. We had the create your own combo. I had one blueberry pancake (you only need one) with eggs over medium and bacon soft. I will say he eggs were proper over medium. My bacon was a little more crispy than I wanted but still good. The only criticism I have is the pancake batter was over mixed as it had developed more gluten than you would expect which made it a little chewy, but it did taste good. Yes still working out bugs. Was in town the other weekend and stopped in Keke's for breakfast. The place was busy but we were seated immediately. Our waitress was there immediately to take our drink order. I got the ham and cheese omelet and it was delicious. The eggs were nice and fluffy and was stuffed full of ham and cheese. My wife got the French toast and it was more than she could finish. She said the toast was crispy on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside. Our son got chocolate chip pancakes and I am pretty sure he went into another realm. "Best chocolate chip pancakes I have ever had" and they were the size of his head. Overall our experience was top notch and if we are in the area again we will be planning a breakfast stop here. read more

Let me start by saying, the food was great and so was the service, me and my brother were both very pleased and full by the end. It was towards the end where problems started happening. We were attended by our server, Tammy. She was very kind and patient, but the bill at the end was a bit pricey, and being a minimum wage worker myself, I left a $2.50 tip. I get this tip most often at my workplace and there's nothing wrong with it, I never complain. What upset me most was the audacity Tammy had to follow me and my younger brother out TO MY CAR. She was in disbelief I would say and saving the receipt in our face, saying 'you got really good service, you could have at least given me $8, I only make $13 an hour'. That was a very interesting moment to say the least. I want to say I myself make very little, I make $10 an hour as a part-time high school student, and with a bill that was almost $50 I felt it was fine to leave $2.50. Me and my brother left with Tammy going back inside and most likely bad-mouthing us to the host. I could not believe how badly we got treated for leaving a small tip when it's up to the customer to provide a tip, I didn't have to leave any if I didn't want to, I would've probably just gone back and taken the tip back if she really wasn't happy with the amount. Least to say, my parents weren't happy with the way we got treated over a tip when I make less on occasion. Making like money is not an excuse to follow two kids out to their car and shame them for not leaving a bigger tip. read more

Kekes My boyfriend and I decided to go check it out on the 12th of July. We arrived around 12:30 pm and although they closed at 2:30pm , they were still pretty slammed. Multiple parties in the waiting area. We were told it would be a 25 minute wait which turned into a 35-40 minute wait. After being seated we got a short little waitress who told us she would be our server but did not provide her name. She was about 5'2 give or take, with short hair, just touching her shoulders. When taking our orders she never made eye contact and kept looking around the restaurant instead. Having to repeatedly ask us what we said. Yes. That will happen when you are not focused on your customers. At one point we wanted more creamer for our coffee but our waitress was no where to be found. At one point, I stood near the entrance to the kitchen so I could flag someone down. Each employee walked right past me when I tried to make eye contact. It wasn't until I waved in someone's face that I was able to get an employee to get me more creamer. Once we got our food, I noticed my waffle tasted odd. It was fully cooked but with baking you always have to make sure all the ingredients are exact or it will throw everything off. And if the waffle batter is pre-mixed... it's not a good mix. Tasted bitter. Bitter waffle could be the result of not melting the butter added to the batter. Which ever the case, not good. Everything else, although beautiful in photos, tasted pretty simple. Nothing extraordinary. At one point of the meal, we were approached by a redheaded boy, probably anywhere between 9 to 11 years old, requesting money for items he was selling. A lanyard bracelet that they sell at the dollar tree, selling for five dollars. And a beer cousy also sold at the Dollar tree, he was selling for $20. I wanted to write "no soliciting." But instead we said, "No thank you." Whether this is one of the employees sons doesn't matter, I shouldn't have to be sold something while dining in a restaurant. At the end of our meal, our waitress left a QR code at our table. Letting us know there was a competition between all the waiters and the most votes, would win. I laughed inside because we were attended by other waiters more than she had. It was also the first time we learned her name because it was written on the card. Anna Beth. Overall: Although they have their own parking lot, it can become pretty tight. The restaurant itself is fairly large, but only has two bathroom stalls in their restrooms. Which was not up-kept. Time for some brunch in Mt. Juliet and we decided to try the new Keke's Cafe location off Lebanon Rd. First in the door, it is very bright and inviting. Great start to a breakfast/brunch place. We had pancakes as part of a create your own breakfast. These pancakes were huge and still light and fluffy. Eggs were cooked just right and the bacon was crisp and not overcooked. My fiancé had their coffee. It was fresh and hot. Only thing that wasn't top notch was the home fries. Now, they were cooked well but they were falling apart and I like my home fries a little crispy from the skillet. That of course is just personal preference. Otherwise they were flavorful. Unless you have a huge appetite do not order the 2 pancakes. I am a big eater and two pancakes were a bit too much even for me. My fiancé ate about 1/2 of 1 pancake as a point of reference. Again, very good. Love the ambiance of this place, the decor and of course the food was good as well. Good choice for an afternoon brunch. When you are in MJ, and have a bit of a hunger that a snack is just not going to fix, stop by Keke's Breakfast Cafe and grab some brunch! Yet another local place we will gladly revisit! read more

Keke's is a welcome edition to Mount Juliet. We have been needing a legit breakfast place for a long time. The restaurant is very nice and new. The menu was very large with lots of good options. Nice decor. Service very good & our server was friendly. OrderedEgg's Benedict for breakfast. Not a long wait for our order to arrive however the eggs were cooked medium w/ no runny yoke which enhances the flavor w/ the hollandaise sauce for me & my husband. They were very accommodating to make substitutions. So that was good. Next time I will try a seasonal dish. Their pumpkin French toast looked very yummy. We look forward to visiting again. read more

Food was pretty good, main disappointment was with our server, Tammy. Our final bill was a bit pricey, so we left a tip of $2.50, which is a pretty standard amount that we would tip usually. When we walked out to the car, Tammy proceeded to follow us out TO OUR CAR, and complain about a low tip, "You got really good service, you could have at least given me 8, I make 13 an hour" I have never seen a foodservice employee literally chase anyone out asking for more tips. We always loved Kiki's when we went to Florida. But so far Lebanon location hasn't been more than average at best. Food was overcooked the first time we went and the waffle was tough whe we went back it been average at best and the prices are on the high side for the quality of food. read more

When order arrived my husband asked where were the vegetables for the breakfast bowl... let the waitress know and while she was apologetic, she should have asked for help in solving the issue. She said she asked her manager on what they could do... managers solution was to charge us for 2 eggs, cheese and a bagel.... a la carte.... NOT the best solution do you think?? Will not return.
