Super early and I'm hungry. Waffle House is always a great open when nothing else is open and so here we are. On a Saturday morning, it was still quiet here as shifts were changing and the overnight crew was finishing their side work as the morning crew was getting set up. Coffee was served immediately and my waffle was poured into the grill. A few minutes later, it arrived as requested. Done properly and with pecans added, I poured on the syrup and polished it off. Good road food, especially when I enjoyed three cups of coffee to go with it. The restaurant was clean and the parking lot is large. Great service this morning. Forgot to take photos of our yummy breakfast dishes - both ordered cheesesteak and cheese eggs breakfast and coffees Our server, Bella was friendly and attentive. Thank you for everything. read more

Visiting my daughter, we had a late dinner here. We ordered a bowl of chili, patty melt with hash browns scattered, smothered, and covered, and a hash brown bowl (not sure if the official name). The food was well made, however my "bowl" of chili was served to me in a to go cup. When I asked the waitress if this was considered a "bowl" of chili, she relied yeah, I didn't want to have to clean a bowl (paraphrasing). My son-in-law and I looked at each other like WTH? The other food was on plates so we were baffled. She did offer to give me more chili if I wanted it - I'm pretty sure she just wanted to get off and go home. The restaurant seemed clean and most of the tables had been cleared. Plenty of parking. read more

One of the best waffle houses I've been to yet!!! I visited the Waffle House in Mount Juliet on a Sunday around noon and enjoyed a delicious mid day breakfast! The waffle was perfectly cooked with just enough chocolate, everyone in the building was working well together and helping each other out (it was pretty busy, there was only one open table when we arrived!), and the food came out super quick and fresh! We will definitely be back. read more

Waffle House at Mt.Juliet Tennessee. This Waffle House is just like any other Waffle House out there. They have the same setup and everything. It's nothing really special about it. As soon you enter the Waffle House. The employees welcome you inside the diner. Before you sit down, they had a guy named Michael cleaning off the table before you sit down and the table was really clean. We sat down and the waiter came over. Just like any other Waffle House but this waiter was amazing! She was so nice and welcoming. She said to us that we are beautiful and liked our eye brows. That literally made our day! Her name was sunshine and that is a lovely name. She got our food order, which was the all-star breakfast and side of biscuits and gravy. I also got an orange juice. Cost me around $18.00 plus a $10.00. The food was delicious and the eggs with cheese always hit home run out of the park. We did enjoy the food! Everything was so good. The place was clean and Michael did so good to make sure the tables was spotless. I really think this was best Waffle House I have ever seen with being clean. Like good job!! They was so busy but it didn't look like being busy at all with being so clean! The customer service was fantastic! Like I said in my previous comment above, Sunshine was amazing! She was so sweet. Thank you Sunshine for your hospitality. That can make sure one day even better! The other workers, I didn't get to interact but they was at hard at work. They was so organized. We highly recommend this location. We also encourage going during the mid-day because the location does get busy in the morning time. Great job Waffle House! Overall 5/5 read more

Waffle House - Bar - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Mount Juliet, Tennessee

Fantastic food! Friendly, accommodating, and hard-working staff! This is the real America! This is what all breakfast foods aspire to be!! They have a bacon cooking station! Enough said! See my photo. Everybody here busts ass! The manager is running the grill, the orders coming not via a computer screen but from the waitresses yelling them out! Zero exaggeration! No frills dining room, exceptionally fair prices. read more

I'm from California we don't have waffle houses and this one did not disappoint. We crammed in a booth at 9 o'clock at night with a very loud 3-year-old. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The food was excellent and just what I expected from what I'd heard about waffle house. I might come back again while I'm in the area. read more

We love it here. Specifically this branch. The older ladies who helped us with our orders were so friendly. Our experience became delightful as they are a joy to be around with. It was interesting watching them take orders. If you'd like to experience a nice american diner, this is a good place to go. We ordered the waffles with chocolate chip and two meals with hash brown (i forgot the names) but it was good and affordable. We will definitely come back. read more

Prices are up but it's still an accessible anytime breakfast fix for quick and familiar food. There are few other such well-oiled consistent dining experiences like Waffle House, how do they do it? Their staff is on top and in touch with getting tables setup, putting in orders, and keeping things rolling. Us seven guys were surprised we didn't need to wait at all on a bustling Saturday morning. Sat right down and menus showed up, I had to go for my usual loaded hash with everything but cheese, a gorgeous combo of all the flavors, meaty, gravy, chili, and so tasty, how has this not caught on with other restaurants? It sure ain't a looker on the plate but like an old leather jacket, fits perfect to cure the cold hunger. The others seemed happy with their dishes too, little leftover. Look at those photos, no question why, my grandparents have been gone a while and Waffle House echoes the old fashioned mood of you're not leaving til you're stuffed. It was surprising to see a big water leak in the ceiling next to our table that occasionally splashed on us. That is something that should not be left at all. Also odd is a lack of any rewards program otherwise it's a good go. read more

I'm in the hospital from dehydration due to throwing up. I can't get anyone from the Mt. Juliet Waffle House or above them to answer a call. Not even a voicemail. The server put hot sauce and something else in my coffee, which is now being determined. I don't know what I may have done to deserve this. Beware the small "lady" with very short hair and the crazy looking bleach blonde. I don't know why they are doing this. read more

Full disclosure, this was my first time at a waffle house and it was exactly what I imagined it would be. It's a good, cheap greasy spoon with filling food that doesn't break the bank. The food was nothing amazing, but it hits the spot. Fun fact, the first time I came here there was a literal dumpster fire out back! read more

Was craving some diner food this morning and Waffle House was the winner! All star breakfasts for my boys and a two egg breakfast for me. Everything cooked perfect. Boys said the waffles were the best yet. Service was impeccable! If you come in and Sunshine is working, you'll have a great experience! Super friendly and lovely! Typical diner ambiance. Short order cooks, quick service. In and out. Great experience today. read more

Best breakfast I've had at a Waffle House in years, and I LOVE Waffle House restaurants. Kudos to cook Stacy. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Hash browns cooked perfectly, as well as the scrambled eggs. Will definitely visit again when in the area. read more

Hey. It's Waffle House. Went on Saturday morning around 10 am. Hadn't been to WH in probably 25 years. Food was as expected hot and flavorful. Service was fast and attentive. Ambiance was exactly as expected. A few families, a few couples, bunch of college age kids. Setting was just as it is in every other Waffle House I've ever been in. And you can't beat it for breakfast anytime. read more

Waffle House - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Mount Juliet, Tennessee

This was my go-to Waffle House, 1-3 times a week, everything was good. But, lately the waitresses are much interested in chatting with each other than waiting on their customers. I went this morning at 6:45, 3 booths with 2 people in each booth and 1 customer at the counter. I left at 6:58 without every talking to either of the waitresses standing less than 10 feet away from me. I guess I'll move my business to Cracker Barrel. read more

As part of my standard method of ordering, i specifically ask for "bacon, like it is on the menu." The bacon that was brought to me was burnt, almost all black. As part of my demonstration as to why i prefer my bacon cooked l"ike it is on the menu" I put my finger to it and the piece i touched turned to bacon bits... how am i supposed to eat something that turns to dust? The re-make attempt was almost the same. I pointed to the photo on the menu and asked if the cook has ever seen the bacon on the menu. Her response was simply, "we don't do that here." She shortly followed up with, "there's another waffle house down the road." I laughed becaise that respomse accurately sums up every experience i have had at this specific waffle house. read more

This review isn't about the food as they usually are, this food is about the people. Waffle House has forever changed my opinion of them by one visit on one day. It was a very long night when the tornado came through. Electricity was off, nothing was charged, we couldn't cook, and didn't know exactly what had happened. We got out of the house and decided to try to find some electricity. The only thing open was the Waffle House. It had been a long long time since I had even been inside a Waffle House but they were open. They were crowded, people lined up waiting for a table but people were smiling. Less than a mile down the road was total destruction and we didn't even know the whole picture but people were smiling and breakfast was being served. Our waitress came to our table with a smile. Welcomed us to Waffle House and took our drink order. She apologized for being behind even though we were all behind that morning. Our coffee was hot, our orange juice was fresh, our food was cooked perfectly. The guy on the grill was the rock star that day, a well oiled machine cooking eggs bacon sausage waffles hash browns all to order. The staff were working well with him and supporting his very hard job. They all had smiles on their faces. Those smiles and that food made such a difference that morning. They were serving people who found themselves in a moment of confusion and need, they were serving people who got out to help clean up and rescue, they were serving people who came in waiting for their assignment to get power back up and running...all these people brought together at the Waffle House by one night. So while Waffle House is usually that place you think of serving truck drivers, late night partiers, early morning workers, or those midnight Waffle cravings...I learned that it's also a place to feel a bit of normalcy at a not so great time. It's a place to be greeted by a smile and hot coffee, it's a place to literally find light when you have none lol. It's a place where people work really hard. It was our servers birthday that day. I hope she got a lot of birthday wishes and had a wonderful birthday. read more

Went to Waffle House late at night with some buddies, everything was cool and food was good but our waitress was a complete asshat. She wasn't very nice and after I paid she bitched about the tip??? And also apparently called me a bitch after I left! (According to a friend) She brought out three plates and some drinks. That's it. If you want a better tip try being a little more inviting and friendly next time. read more

The food was excellent. The table & silverware weren't clean. The waitress was as friendly as she knew how to be.

Being a server my self I'm usually pretty easy going but this place Is AWEFUL. We sat down after a couple had left expecting to get decent service. we sat down watching a kid/kitchen staff sit on his phone instead of taking the stack of plates in front of us. Easy 10 min with nothing happening so instead we went to Buffalo Wild Wings across the street and got helped right away. Again, coming from the food and beverage industry I understand a busy night but this wasn't even close. They had one staff member busting their ass and the others just sitting around watching, it's a team effort on weekends & nights, clearly there was none. Definitely will not be coming back nor recommending unfortunately. Wish my first experience in the area was better. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings and ask for and ask for Chris, you will not be disappointed! read more

This is the best hands-down Waffle House I have ever been to. Our waitress Tracey and she provided quick services, the food was delicious and hot and came out in less than 10 minutes. If you find yourself in the area and need a quick meal, stop and sit in Tracey's section! read more

Was pretty awful. Waffle was more reminiscent of soggy toast than an actual waffle. Kids couldn't even stomach it. Even though service was friendly, everything was very greasy, place didn't look like it could pass health inspection, food was overall pretty bad. We won't be going back. read more

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS WAFFLE HOUSE!!! I love the food of the restaurant itself, but I have never been treated so unfairly. When I walked in, no one spoke to me and I was served by an older waitress who really didn't want to have anything with me. She was so nice to the other customers ("Hi honey, how can I help you) and I had to wait until someone else was available to assist me with my order. Like I said, I really do enjoy Waffle House, but unfortunately, the one close in my proximity, has horrible customer service and I will never step foot in there again and maybe not another one either. read more

Poorly managed walking in the door. The greeter wasn't managing the seating well at all on this Sunday morning. I came in took a seat behind the people there. I wasn't approached to have my name taken for seating. Yes! When a Waffle House is as busy as this one was a functioning greeter and seater is needed! After 5 parties!!!!!!!! 5 parties entered and just skipped right past me I asked why this was happening and the barely functional employee said it was self seating! BS!!!!!! He poorly performed his job and again doesn't know his responsibilities! Waffle houses on an individual level are a lot like their waitresses............... hard to look at and deal with! Don't waste your time going to this waaffle house! read more

It's Waffle House. There isn't a better place to eat in North America that you can get all over the place. Sure, there are specialty places in some cities that MIGHT have "better" food, but are they open in 25 states? Are they open 24 hours? Have they been around for over 50 years? When they can do any of those things, I'll consider saying they are the best place to eat in North America. Until then, Waffle House stands on top. read more

I have been to plenty of Waffle Houses......some with the most interesting characters (Iike the waitress in Lebanon, IN who can't come to Chicago to visit cause she is supposedly wanted by the FBI) and some whose food game is on POINT! (like the Waffle House in Memphis, TN that made amazing pecan pancakes) This Waffle House's bacon game was FLAME!! I have no idea who was on Bacon duty the day we went, but to the guy who was working the stove......you made our honeymoon that much better cause the bacon was just right!! I hope your wife or girlfriend realizes how awesome you really are (and if you are single, your future woman is a lucky lady!) We would also like to throw a shout out to Dot Dot who helped a girl that wanted everything to eat that morning (from waffles to hash browns to eggs and bacon) get the right order! Keep it up WH in the MTJ! We can't wait to come back! read more

Nothing changes from waffle house to waffle house. It's consistent, comforting and reliable. Good coffee. Friendly service. This particular one was a little less clean than other Waffle House I had visited However, the waitress greeted us with a smile, chatted us up, and started our days just right. I decided to get hashbrowns "all the way" which is pretty much as it sounds -- with everything they offer throw in. I wouldn't do it with everything again -- it's just too sloppy with the gravy and chili! I am a glutton, though, so it was all good! The booths are small, and it's not too friendly if you have a young family (I have three kids under 5). The walking area is tight, and I didn't feel comfortable with the high chair hanging out in the aisle. read more

We have been coming to this location on and off for the last few weeks and continue to come back because of the staff. This location is quick and friendly, which is why they continue to get my business. One weekend, my girlfriend and I were waiting and the hostess asked us if we wanted coffee. Such a small, but nice gesture - something that 100% stands out when it comes to customer service. When you go to waffle house you always have to get the All-Star special. If you add chocolate chips to your waffle - you wont hate me! This location is awesome, something I look forward to everything weekend. read more

I usually don't like Waffle House. The ones Ive been to have not been cleaned the best. We order carry out at this location. It was great. When we called in our order they were happy and polite. Food was hot when we received it. Everything was correct. Went two mornings in a row. read more

Only one server was wearing her mask properly. The cook only had on a gator (proven to be ineffective in preventing the spread of COVID). Did not require masks from customers. Openly mocked me when I asked them to wear their masks properly.
