I am a big First Watch fan, and this location in Hendersonville is a solid option for breakfast/brunch/lunch! I've been here twice, and it's in a convenient spot with plenty of free parking nearby. Most recently, my husband and I stopped by for an early breakfast, and we had a quick and tasty meal! When I do dine at a First Watch, I usually aim to try something new since they have such a large menu. Their seasonal menu actually rotates every 6 weeks or so, and there's always something fun and fresh to try from their special selections. This time, I stuck to the healthier side of the menu, and went with the Tri-Athlete egg white omelette. This was light and very veggie-forward, which is just what I wanted for such an early meal. My husband ordered the Farmhouse Hash, which is a must-try for anyone who loves breakfast potatoes. Their multigrain toast is full of flavor, and one of my favorite things to dip in eggs or jam (or both!) I also love the AM Superfoods Bowl, although we didn't order that this time around. This was a good and bad, I wish that the menu offered a few more standard breakfast items all the skillets and omelettes were a bit to fancy for my liking but my family enjoyed the fancy. My only complaint was they were so busy with a lot of take out. They seemed to focus more on getting the take out the door. Found this location this past Friday. What a great treat. Skipped a day and went back on Sunday. The food is yummmmmy. The first time I picked the 1/2 salad, 1/2 sandwich. It was perfect and generous proportions. Yesterday I chose to have an omelette. It was amazing. The service both time was very good and precise. I would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a good place to eat. Came by again cause this place is close to our hotel. I'm a little confused. Am I the only one who likes hot bacon? Is bacon supposed to be served cold? Cause mine was, again, served cold. This time I got the million dollar bacon. It was delicious, but had it been hot, this would have been closer to a 5 star review. I had the avocado toast. That is a 5 star dish for sure. It comes with two "basted" eggs, which seem like poached eggs to me. Might be a southern thing? Either way, the toast had an abundance of avocado and when topped with the eggs tasted like pure perfection. I had the meditation juice, which was wonderful, but was served in a dirty glass. It was just this past Sunday where it would be the end of my vacation so I wanted to try something outside the downtown Nashville area. With friends in Hendersonville, they recommended this place. Cool little spot tucked in a shopping center. Service was good but somehow they did not have silverware available so we got stuck with plastic forks and tiny napkins. This obviously was the reason I could not give 5 stars. Food was damn good too! I ordered from the seasonal menu so not sure how many people will have the chance to review these items but let me tell you, they should be permanent items in the menu. Let me be honest. I wrote off ever coming back to a First Watch (not this one, the Brentwood location) ever since they screwed up my order so bad and gave me atrocious service. This was maybe 10 years ago. It took me 10 years before I got encouraged to give them another try. So here I am, at the Hendersonville location and what do I think about it now? They redeemed themselves but I wouldn't say it's my favorite. But I will continue to give them my business until I find something I really like (or they mess up really badly). First Watch, to me, is like the organic foods aisle in the grocery store. Yes there's good things there but you get a feeling of being a bit pretentious shopping in that aisle. I'm not knocking organic foods at all, heck I have some that I buy but it just feels a little much. So translating that feeling, I feel like that looking at the First Watch menu. There's a lot of things on the menu that have a healthy/wholesome spin on it. I ordered the Eggs Benedict Classic and the Lemon Ricotta Berry pancakes. It was probably too much food for 1 person but I eat a lot. The Eggs Benedict Classic was good. Really good. I've never had it on ciabatta bread (I like the firm chewiness of an English muffin) but it was good, a soft chewiness. The poached eggs were a little overcooked (I like them runny when eating eggs benedict) but it still had ample yolk to cover the food. There was a copious amount of smoked ham, which is always nice. Overall, really good. The roasted potatoes were roasted potatoes. Good, soft, paired with ketchup. I'm mixed on the Ricotta Berry Pancakes. They were huge and they looked good, but I knew exactly what was underneath that hood. The pancake mix at First Watch is multigrain. I hate multi/whole grain anything. It's the grittiness that gets me. It's like tiny specks of sand and it throws me off. If it weren't for the lemon curd, strawberries, and warm syrup, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as I did. The lemon curd really makes it here and I'm usually pretty simple when it comes to enjoying pancakes. It was creamy and added tartness to the pancakes. It made it taste "fruity fresh". So I'll probably get it again. First Watch is no longer in my blacklist. I enjoyed my food, especially the eggs benedict and I have a love-hate relationship with their pancakes. The only problem is my meal cost me 30$. That's a LOT for breakfast. I could mosey on over to Cracker Barrel for half the price. Bottom line is I'll add it to my rotation. read more

I love First Watch & this one was close to our hotel. So I placed a carry out order just before checking out. Ordered the AM Superfood bowl which is coconut chia pudding with fruit & granola. Anyways... First Watch is a great brunch spot, so it makes sense that this place is packed. I tried the biscuits and gravy, million dollar bacon, and a little bit of my son's "kids" crepes with bananas and strawberries. It was all delicious! The biscuits and gravy were delicious! It all comes in a large hearty bowl filled with two biscuits, covered in thick sausage gravy with a pile of eggs and potatoes on the side, yum! This was a gut bomb, but worth it. The million dollar bacon is a must order for the table. Sweet and salty peppered bacon, do I need to say more? My son's crepes were huge and could easy feed an adult. The crepes were great very light and airy. But maybe a little too much for a child? We live in Mt Juliet, we were going to Hendersonville to a few places and decided to find a nice breakfast there also, mind you is takers almost 30 minutes to get there, we put our names on their wait list through their website,that's what it said when I called their number, so we don't have to wait so long, never having been there it looked good, so we arrive and see that it is jammed packed , but ok we have our names on the list already, we walk in there is this customer at the podium and she says "they always get the orders wrong " the worker comes with the rest of her order and she leaves, we walk up and we give her our name and she says "ok,it'll be 30min", we were like "WHAT"?! The avocado toast dish had to be requested for a second time and lack the same flavor as in Charlottesville as well as preparation. On a positive note, the pancakes were outstanding. I had the farm stand breakfast tacos as my entree, they were so good, flavor of the chicken and chorizo was amazing and blended beautifully with the avocado, beans, and cheese! I added a little bit of hot sauce to them for some kick but otherwise very flavorful! Familiar with First Watch from my experience with the store in The Woodlands, TX. Unfortunately, this store was lacking, comparably. The wait was over 40 min on a Sunday. I get that. Then we waited another 30-40 min for our food because they were pumping out "to-go" orders like crazy. When we do get our food it's cold. All three orders. Like it had been put in fridge until she was ready to serve it. That, I don't get. When we inquired about the food, the waitress replied, "that's how the Million Dollar bacon comes, because of the syrup..." Then walked off not answering for the remainder of the food items. Christmas Eve breakfast while picking up a few last minute items. Hostess was delightfully and quickly sat us. Our server came quickly and was very pleasant. We ordered the classic egg Benedict which was ok, but disappointing. The eggs were not poached. Cooked hard and really ruined the entire meal. I mentioned to the waitress the eggs were not poached. She's said "yeah... the kitchen doesn't know how to poach eggs. I cringed when you ordered" My first thought waa if she KNEW the eggs Benedict wasn't good, why wouldn't she tell me. Especially after our preorder conversation which mentioned how much I enjoy a good eggs Benedict. Coffee was good and sausage gravy biscuit was good. Ambiance is great. Went for a late brunch with some of my family and it didn't disappoint. We arrived around 1030 in the morning and was told it would be about a 45min wait which we kinda expected considering when we arrive. Within 30minutes they sat us at a cute little booth and our server was delightful. Super peppy, happy, and really seemed like she loved her job. For drinks we got a mimosa, some coffee and an apple juice. For the mimosa they bring the orange juice separate from the champagne which I liked so you can adjust how strong you want your mimosa to taste. For food, I ordered the Frittata Rustica with strawberries and pineapple on the side while my husband got the Power Wrap with a side of bacon. Another family member of ours got a blueberry muffin and it was probably the best part of the whole brunch My food was great, a little too much kale in mine but other than that really good. The Power Wrap was nice but was too watering and super messy to eat. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! We waited 1 1/2 hours to be seated then it took another 40+ minutes to get our food. The server said it's like that every weekend. When we asked for the manager, he said its b/c they prioritize the take-out/door-dash orders and there's so many, they can't keep up. I asked the manager why they didn't limit the # of take-out orders and he said the district manager won't allow it. He never apologized or offered anything to make the situation better and I told him they MUST tell customers before they're seated that this is most likely going to be their experience and he just shrugged at the idea. Apparently, First Watch cares more about the money than their customers willing to sit in the restaurant. And, they need a more competent manager, district manager, etc. Don't go unless you want to suck up most of your day feeling annoyed. read more

We enjoyed our meals and juices, but weren't exactly blown away. We tried going to first watch awhile back and the wait was extremely long so we decided on picking up our breakfast to go early in the morning.
