My appetite leaves satisfied. I especially enjoy all the deserts. This is quality and quantity.

Instead of fixing the problem, management is asking me to contact them privately to resolve. Repeated visit was virtually the same. Bathrooms need attention especially if your employees are using it as well... I have spent thousands in the past, now I prefer not to waste my money.. Fix it and we will return. Hands down my favorite casual/formal dining restaurant ever! The majority of the items are under $10 which makes Cheddars packed, but it is worth the wait. It really is a scratch kitchen, my friend work their and she sometimes walks to the back to really see if it all scratch and it is. I suggest tipping waiter only get paid around $3 an hour. But favorite dish is the chicken tender platter in buffalo style with French fires and mac-and-cheese, also the ribs are A1!! As for appetizers the spinach dip is amazing, the French fries with cheese great as well!! Overall best place for a night outing! read more

The prices are good, but you get what you pay for. The food is mediocre at best, and usually comes at a slightly warm temperature. I like my food hot, so I usually have to send it back to be microwaved. I can only recommend Cheddar's if you are short on cash and want a big portion of food. read more

Had to wait for seating at late lunch time, then seated next to the extremely loud bar, iced tea wasn't ready so got salads before drinks, food took forever, half sandwich was a joke, supposedly got the club, probably 1/4 a sandwich and not even half a piece of bacon, just crumbs of bacon loose on the plate. We sat in the bar area and it smells like booty, they need to clean it better. The smell interferes with the taste and I died slowly. It made me sad waaaaa :-( The bar area needs to be turned inside out and cleaned. read more

We went there as a party of eight. When we arrived and were walking across the parking lot there was a very strong sewer odor. Unfortunately, it was inside too but not as bad. They tried to put 8 adults into a booth built for six. We flatly refused to eat dinner stuffed in there like sardines. There was no table available to seat us without us going back to the door waiting in line again. that was not acceptable to us. They did try though to take care of us. They gave us a booth for four and pulled a table "close" but not next to the booth. It made talking to those at the other dining table impossible without raising our voices. Once settled into our new seating, drink orders were taken and delivered promptly. Our waiter was attentive but at times intrusive. I think he'll do well once he gets more experience under his belt and not be so "puppy dog eager" to please. We all ordered different things and everyone seemed please with their meals. My only complaint would be is that I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it must of sat under the warming lights too long and the juice soaked into it or it was set on a wet plate as bottom roll was soggy. Made it hard to hold and eat. In hindsight I should have just asked for a new roll to be brought to the table. Halfway through dinner the sewer stench was back with a vengeance. I read another review from February that the same thing happened. Not acceptable. We were told they didn't know where the odor was coming from. I found that hard to believe. Would I eat here again? The food was ok, the service was ok, but I wouldn't go with anymore than just another couple unless I could be guaranteed a table to fit the group. I could go this place again....or not. My husband and I tried to go there for lunch today. We waited about 15 minutes and then the hostess called what we thought was our name. I told her the small little thing that lights up hadn't gone off, but she proceeded to sit us down anyway. We got our drinks and menu and then she walks over to us and says she was calling "mark" not "park" and told us we had to get back in line. I asked to speak to a manager when we got back up and went back to the front and the manager could care less. We walked out very unhappy. If I could give them a -10 I would. I've never been disappointed with Cheddar's. Everything is good! I've seriously tried just about everything and I haven't found something I didn't like. My favorite dish has got to be the New Orleans Pasta and Baked Spasagna. The Monte Carlo is also worth a try if you've never had one! I came in with a group of friend to celebrate my promotion. Because when I lived in Austin I loved this place. But I had a bad experience my food was cold the manger took it back then came back and it was still cold and they added onions. My server took a long time to take our order. Terrible Service, average food. Onion Rings, Fish Tacos, Loaded Baked Potato and Corn were good. "Signature" Ribs were below average with tough and burned parts. Had to find a waiter who sent the Manager to get service even though others nearby who arrived after us were taken care of. Excuse was that no one was assigned. Had emptied my soda for the Onion Ring Appetizer and then a single soda refill took 3 requests and was finally delivered LONG after I finished eating. Takeout box and check were provided after others got there's. The food is a good value, but I'll gladly pay more for memorable dining. The food is always good here the price is really good and the service is always prompt management is always on the floor asking us about our experience, I always say it was a great one which is true every time me and my mom are there its great. Ok so we finally made it out for a "date" night dinner, granted it's a Tuesday and we went about six at night, but that's what our schedules are allowing. This was not the atmosphere I had in mind, if you want to canoodle with your man this is not the place, the bar area did seem more of that atmosphere. We sat on the same side of the booth away from the hellions that sat behind him. They were screaming and fighting the entire time while the parents enjoyed their grown up dinner adjacent to them. To our side were women straight out of work enjoying their drinks and other families and older folks doing the same. It's loud it's not ment to be romantic but that aside we had the best steaks we had in a while, they were cooked perfectly medium rare for the both of us and it didn't disappoint. The mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and chicken nachos were great, our alcoholic beverages were weak as expected. Overall great food, it's a good restaurant to laugh it up and talk loudly. Also the prices are right, very affordable menu with a great variety of items. I'd go again, but with a group and pants with a stretchy waist band. read more

Ok. First off - I visited on a moderately busy Sunday afternoon/evening. The good: Ribeye was decent. Edamame appetizer was interesting. Decent crowd at the bar. The bad: Looked like someone went off-roading on the front doors. The rest of the restaurant didn't look much cleaner. Appetizer arrived after my main course started to come out. After dinner, I relaxed with a beer. Wait staff left my dirty dishes in front of me for a full 20 minutes after I was done. So nice to relax with a beer (3 on tap, but only 2 were working) with steak fat sitting in front of you. Bartender looked like he knew how to make drinks, but lacked any clue about service. Price for dinner for 1 reasonable ($41, with gratuity), but I absolutely will choose something different next time. read more

We went here for my husbands birthday, it was on a Sunday evening and they had already closed off some of the area. It was going to be a party of 7, and we wanted to sit one booth down from another table and we were told that there was no server for that table and that nobody wanted to pick it up because they didn't want to clean it up after. 45 minute wait time almost all the time for groups larger than 3 people. Super loud, could barely hear the conversations at our table.

I was let down every time I've been here. One occasion, the waitress was rushing us and seemed annoyed or pissed. I don't care what the issue is, but she should have brushed it off and looked forward to making us happy and getting a good tip. I guess she saw us as broke college kids, but whatever, I tip well with good service. The food is pretty basic and does not taste like it is from scratch at all. The drinks are okay but though they claim to have a full bar and a trained bartender, one time it took them over 45 minutes to make an off-menu, requested drink! I ordered the monte cristo once and it was so oily and greasy I was disgusted. I know I will go back only because my friends like the drinks and the prices here, but I personally don't prefer it nor do I recommend it. read more
