Double fried chicken w/ onion rings app

service was spectacular--friendly, attentive, and fast. The food was just as impressive. Everything came out fresh and perfectly cooked. I was especially happy to see that they brought back their onion rings, which are amazing! Crispy, flavorful, and the perfect appetizer. The chicken was breaded perfectly--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Every bite was delicious. I highly recommend this location if you're looking for great food and top-notch service. I'll definitely be back!

I had the Cajun Chicken Bowl here, and let me tell ya, it was a wee bit spicy! The list of ingredients did not include Cajun sausage, but it was in there. That's probably one of the reasons it was a bit warm. I'm not complaining, it was good. I'm not sure what I thought about the pico de gallo that was on top though, it wasn't quite what I was expecting, and I would probably ask for it to be on the side if I were to order it again. This entree reminded me of Jambalya, but with pico on it. I love Jambalya, so I was good with it. But seriously? There are so many things on their menu that looked good I would probably try something else the next time. We started the meal with a croissant and honey butter. I could only eat half, so I took the other half home with me.............along with my aunt's that she figured she better not eat. This restaurant definitely deserves another visit.

I had a free birthday offer, so we stopped over for a quick lunch after shopping. The only complaint I have is having to wait at the host stand to get our name on the wait list. There was no one around and lots of empty, dirty tables. We were finally quoted a 15-minute wait, but seated after 2 minutes when a table was finally cleared/cleaned. The free honey butter croissants were fantastic! The entrees were pretty good with big portions, although my garlic toast was hard and overdone. The server was very attentive, which made the experience pleasant. To top it off, my free birthday dessert was exceptional. The restaurant was fairly quiet. We were there just before the dinner rush, which helped. The waiting area was full as we were leaving.

Cheddars is one of if not THE BEST restaurant I have ever been to. The food is delicious, the staff are kind and gave excellent customer service every time I've gone! The restaurant is clean, well lit, and the fan they have is awesome. I love watching the fish and everyone I've ever come with has said it was amazing. Definitely check out this restaurant, it's a go to MUST!

Service is unattentive. Food is pre-made/frozen. Comes to you like warm. Haven't been back in over a year because our last visit was so bad!

Everyone raved about the food all afternoon. Favorites were the brisket, the nachos and the smash burger. This comes with 4 meats, 4 sides, and 4 pieces of Cornbread. I got Pulled Pork, Brisket, Smoked Wings, and Ribs ($8 upcharge) for my meats. For the sides I got Mac N Cheese, Bbq Pit Beans, Mashed Potatoes, and Spicy Creamed Corn. Overall everything was good and well cooked. From best to least it was Ribs, Brisket, Smoked Wings, and then the Pulled Pork. I would get the ribs and brisket again, but probably pass on the wings and pulled pork. The Bbq beans were only okay, oddly enough as cold leftovers they were much better. The Mac N Cheese was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. The Mashed Potatoes were very good. The spicy Cream Corn was excellent, they weren't lying it has a spicy kick! Funny enough the best thing was the Cornbread. It was fantastic, some of the best I've had. The worst thing? The sauces. They all were not good at all. The most tolerable one is their regular sauce, still a c minus. The service was good, but I was asked how I was doing about a hundred times. Still everyone was friendly. Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? If I was in Lansing then Yes. It is quality bbq cooked by someone with skill. I just might bring my own bbq sauce.

The tables on the side of the building are not as exciting as the seating at the front of the building. Our waiter had such an energetic vibe and was very polite. We had water within a minute of sitting down. Our order was very fast. Easily within 10 minutes. Very impressive! I loved the southern fried chicken with the mashed sweet potatoes. Their cornbread was so moist and had a nice flavor. The breading on the chicken was perfectly cooked and had a nice sweet flavor. We decided on the bread pudding for dessert which was easily a shareable item. So much flavor and wasn't too overly sweet with the candied pecans and sweet drizzle topping. Flavor was very well balanced.

We had some vidalia onion dip for an appetizer which had a good flavor. My entree was the cajun shrimp and grits. It has been a long time since I have had this dish from a restaurant done well enough to like. It was delicious. My only complaint is that the shrimp come tail-on... i know thats a thing these days, but ive never liked it. Anyways - the greens were tasty, the cornbread was good, and main portion.... delectable. We sat on the patio area. There was a nice breeze, and we joked about some of the people being scared of the sunlight because it was a bit darker inside.... Great food, great experience.
