We waited 35 minutes for a table. As soon as we got to the table, we ordered an appetizer and our food. We got the cheese curds, which was gross tbh. When we got our food, the steak was RAW! I ordered it cooked medium. The pasta was also stale, and the green beans were nasty. We called our server and showed her, she said it was the 3rd time it happened that day. She took the steak and said they would remake it. We called her over and told her to take it off. She then said "I wish you would've told me before I sent it back" in a very passive aggressive way. And she then claimed she wanted to give it to her dog. After that, we asked for boxes and the check. They didn't take it off, only gave a $10 and $3 discount. The steak was 14.99 and we showed her. She said "do you really want me to go back for ONE dollar?" And we were stern and said yes. Still left her a 7 dollar tip. Worst experience ever

We got here late for a Friday evening, and a place is packed! Nonetheless, we were seated with friendly staff, and our drink and food orders taken right away. An excellent cocktail menu with a lot to choose from! The food menu has a lot of comfort type food and reading it all makes my stomach growl and anticipator hunger! The food did not take long to come out, and there was plenty of it! We shared the Monte Cristo and the chicken pot pie and let me tell you, both were extremely tasty and bountiful! Rich flavors and enough food to send you home with leftovers. The place is clean with clean restrooms. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time and by the end of dinner, we were stuffed! Very affordable and you get a lot for what you pay for!

Steak and chicken tenders with hot honey sauce. Broccoli cheddar casserole. Buttered corn..fried

Let me start off with saying our waiter and trainee were really good. I ordered the steak and chicken tenders with hot honey sauce and side broccoli cheddar casserole and corn. My partner got ribs with chicken tenders (same as me) with baked potato and cheesy fries. This was probably one of the worst meals I ever had. My steak didn't look "real" no grain to the meat what so ever and looked like the synco meat (meat glue to make it look like steak). The broccoli casserole was real dry and not cheesy at all. Corn is corn so that was good. Also the spinach dip love that so please don't ever change what's going on with that. The place itself is real nice like the dark vibes and the presentation. But the food is something I'm not going to go for again. I'm just disappointed with my meal today such a shame I had to pay for a meal we only took a couple bites out of.

My second time ever eating at cheddars and it was nothing like the first time. We were seated in less than 10 minutes which was not bad but we didn't get drinks for probably half an hour after that. We ordered an appetizer and also ordered our food. I'm not kidding you it took 40 minutes to get our food and the waiter brought our appetizer after our food had arrived. He was a nice man and took the appetizer off our bill. About our appetizer even though it was free, they forgot the chips and didn't bring any type of dipping sauces but we didn't complain. At this point we had sat so long we were just glad the food finally made it. The food itself was great. Our server was good but the wait times were horrible.

Rib eye. And fries. Very tasty broccoli also

This was my first visit to this establishment on April 8, 2025. A friend and I met there for lunch. It was busy and crowded at lunchtime, but we were seated right away. There is ample parking. There is very nice ambient light. The decor is relaxed. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu is long enough to have many good choices. I had a ribeye steak with fries, and my friend had fish and chips. The steak was cooked to exactly medium rare. The fries were very tasty. The fish and chips were very nicely done. Prices are very reasonable.

Stopped by for a work luncheon. Their staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to split our checks seamlessly. I got the Cajun chicken bowl. It was flavorful and the chicken was tender. It might be worthwhile to get extra pico on the side.

    Complimentary glazed croissants. Really yummy.

Our waitress Danielle was so patient and catered to my 11 month old grandson nicely. The complimentary glazed croissants were so good. We started with the queso which came with salsa too. The chips were thin and crispy and the queso was good. The salsa was tasty and not too hot (my daughter appreciated that). She got the salmon and loved it. I got the fish and chips. The fries came out cold so she brought me some more. The fish was nicely breaded and flaky. We got the strawberry lemonade which was refreshing. Pieces of strawberry made it more delicious. Free refills too. Is this the best meal I've had recently? Nope. But it was good and service was top notch.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for what would be an unforgettable meal. The rustic charm of the decor, combined with the lively buzz of happy diners, made it feel like a home away from home. I started with the Shrimp and Grits, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, plump, and juicy, seasoned to perfection with a subtle kick that danced on my taste buds. The grits were creamy and rich, with just the right amount of buttery goodness, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that left me wanting more. Next up was the Fried Chicken and Waffle Jr. Plate, a true masterpiece. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned with a secret blend of spices that elevated it to new heights. The waffle was fluffy and golden, a perfect vessel for soaking up every drop of syrup. While I do wish they used Vermont maple syrup grade A, it was by no means a flaw, it only added to the charm of the dish. The Sweet Tea was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. It was refreshingly sweet, with a hint of lemon that brightened each sip and left a lingering taste of summer. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every need was met with a smile. Their genuine hospitality added to the overall experience, making me feel like a valued guest. Frank's Chicken and Waffle is a culinary gem in Albuquerque, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal that will delight your senses and warm your soul.

My husband's grilled catfish salad was huge and genuinely delicious, not an afterthought like it can be elsewhere. Sides were a bit mixed. It wasn't like a soup how we are used to, it was sort of thick and slimy, the flavor was a little too different. 1 star dish to be honest. We threw it in the trash. The jambalaya was a little better, but it still wasn't great. It actually made it to like a 3.5 star quality dish; it was good enough to eat, so we ate this. The fried oysters were pretty good, especially when dipped in their spicy tartar sauce, 4 stars for this dish. I might actually crave this once in a blue moon. Their Mac and cheese had so much potential. It was thick and creamy how I like it, burned cheese on it was great, they attempted to put som cajun seasoning in it that you can barely taste, but the part that docked them points the most was the Mac was overcooked probably sat on a heat lamp for a very long time. The fries were soggy after only a 5 minute drive. They also use styrofoam, which I personally don't like eating from due to the forever chemicals that leach into the food when it's hot. Also after spending $40 and asking for an extra sauce I got charged a dollar. I mean okay I don't thin the side sauce was worth the dollar but also the sauce that came with it was only filled half way. I mentioned that am still I was charged the buck. The lady up front had an alright demeanor, the lady cooking in the back seemed really sweet and asked me how i found them, had a smile etc. I think they should have someone like that cashiering.
