Tasty food! Burger, stuffed mushrooms, Japanese steak bites. Every bite was so good that we completely cleaned the plates!

So surprising to find such a gem so far away from a major city. Worth the drive so it shouldn't be…read moremissed. Owner opened the front door to welcome us in, his wife was at the hostess stand. Great, great service all around. Beautiful day so we sat outside on the patio so we could take in the view and beautifully landscaped grounds. One of the coolest cigar bars that I've ever seen. Prices are on the high side but not only do you get quality, you get all the sides with it so it all equals out. Beef Wellington was excellent. Cooked perfectly, delicious mushroom tapenade, and flaky crust. delish! The sides were all excellent and cooked excellently. Salmon was the just as good. Just wish it was closer to Boise!

Made us feel so special. Food...drinks...dessert....outstanding. All of it. We started with a Reserve Lemon Drop (to die for!). Then we moved on to the Glassed Brussel Sprouts (I could've just done these and had been satisfied...outstanding once again). Then the wedge full salad came to the table and knocked our boots out of how yummy yum yum that was as well. We ended the night with the T-Bone plate, Prime Rib plate and the kids steak. Chefs kissssss to all 3. We couldn't leave without trying a dessert...we got the chocolate delicacy cake along with ice cream. So glad we did. Everything was perfect.

Dinner in the restaurant didn't disappoint- filet mignon with sautéed mushrooms was the BEST I've ever had! Service was spot on, making this dinner an incredible success. Cannot wait to go back!

Our server Brittany greeted us promptly and was very pleasant and attentive to our every need. My wife had the Chehalem Chardonnay and I had a glass of the Prisoner. Both were served promptly and were perfect. We ordered the Pepper Jelly Glazed Pork Belly as it sounded very unique. A word of caution though, the portion is very large with two big cuts of pork belly. The jelly glaze and seared crust on the pork belly was excellent and tasty. The pork belly itself tasted very good, but wasn't as tender as we expected. We expected a much more tender meat. That isn't to say it was tough (it wasn't) or very good (it was!). However, this is very rich for an appetizer. It could really be a main entree! My wife ordered the special for the day, which was a surf & turf with scallops and a "Denver cut" steak. She ordered the steak medium (defined by Brittany as pink but no red). She said the scallops were perfectly cooked. Tender and tasty. However, the steak was medium rare at best. Brittany agreed that it was not medium and took it back to correct. When the steak was returned, it was better, still not medium, but acceptable. That's when my wife discovered how fatty the cut of meat was. A large part of it was all fat and not edible. I on the other hand ordered the 8-Oz Double-R Ranch Tenderloin, medium rare+. It was perfect, juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. Cooked perfectly. We ordered a side of Asperagus which was delicious, but again be aware, the portion was more than enough for two and probably could have been shared by 3 or 4! In conclusion, the service was impeccable (Brittany A++!), the food was good (but should have been great), wine was excellent, and ambiance is perfect!
