No reservations available at our go to Regazza for just my wife and myself, so we decided to…read morefinally try their little sibling next door. Came early-ish at 5:00 and there was about 50% of the seating available. Looking over the menu we agreed to get items to share vs doing individual items. Lots of options and the usual spousal "what do you want, idk what do you want" and we agreed to start with just one wings and one flatbread. Unfortunately as we are about to order they put on order of empanadas and the artichoke dip on the pickup counter and I blurted out, "and those". Then the food arrives...too much??? See pics. Well I can say not one bite went to waste, though it took two days(leftovers) to finish it all. We stayed only 2 minutes away and actually got another to go order of the dip again for the second night. PS we paid a few bucks for extra crostini(sp?) for dip, and used them all, highly recommend. Everything was great, the dip was to die for as were the empanadas. The place was packed by 6, and while only two employees handled it all they did a great job and earned a generous tip, which ain't easy from me. Place is cute and has a cool hangout vide with decent beer and very good wine selections. Gonna be hard choosing between our two favorite Donnelly, heck Valley County, eateries but at least the same folks will benefit.

This restaurant is in the Hotel NoBo in Lake Cascade, Idaho. We happened to be passing through and…read morestayed at the hotel. The front desk clerks raved about the restaurant and the chef. They felt he was the best in the area. They serve small portions which is fine. My wife and I enjoyed the dinner and the desserts. You can tell that the chef is on top of his game. The restaurant has a nice, open feel to it. Relaxed atmosphere.

We came for our first stay in Valley County in 3+ yrs. I'll review hotel separately…read more Ate upon arrival at 7 on Friday. Place isn't large but tables were open, though it filled before we left. There was one server and 2 in the back, so our waitress was busy. She did well, on service, though not overly attentive, but she was spread thin and we didn't suffer at all from a lack of attention. Menu was just the right size for size of the place and staff with Burgers, Sandwiches, Steak, and Pastas. Wife and I shared 3 items, French Onion Soup, Wedge Salad, and the Bacon Bison Burger with homemade chips. The burger was outstanding for $14, cooked right and flavorful, and the chips were a pleasant surprise. The Wedge , $13, was ample and tasty, though the very top of wedge had to be discarded and was obviously wilted. I'll state here, I fully understand Valley County should be graded on a slight curve, and lettuce is a tough one, but I'm sure cook noticed when cutting. Rest of lettuce was good. Rest of salad was also. Lastly the French Onion Soup was not great. Basically the onions were not cooked long and slow enough to develop flavor, heck they were firm. We will be eating here again, as the food and service overall was good and the location is nice and awful convenient. Prices was inline with what you get and for Valley County. Service was good, but I'm sure it could be a bit better with an extra server on busy nights, so they can have more time. I was surprised to see no real info on hotel site regarding restaurant or a link on their website so I'm not sure how many people know this is available while visiting Cascade.
