Since I've been coming here. I've had the tea which is really sweet I mean really sweet. In the past I didn't have an issue with the dried and burgers. In my last experience to be honest the fries tasted like old grease. Which gave me a little heart burn. Which I haven't had in a very long time. But As you know when you're hungry you will eat. So I ate them. But it was not enjoyable if that makes sense. This was by far the bad experience I've had here. There was an older man her waiting at the winding wasn't sure why he stayed at the window so long. But other than that I hadn't had any issues here. I love checkers. Since a kid. So this once experience will not take away from the many experiences I've had here. I love it here. read more

They have the BEST Diet Coke, our food comes perfectly as asked when ordering and delivery. The service is amazing, everyone is so nice and efficient. This place is terrible. Ordered a burger with a toasted bun, only half of the bun was toasted, the half that wasn't had GREEN MOLD on the edge. I couldn't believe it. Before this (which was the end all for my relationship with Checkers) I'd get home to find my order either wrong or something missing completely. They are not cheap and to have items missing from your order is frustrating. I checked the hours of this location on line and it said 10 AM to 3 AM. I arrived to the store on April 2, 2018 at 10:40 PM and there were dishwashing racks, or maybe soda racks, propped up in both drive-through's. There was a white female smoking what I assume is a cigarette walking back into the store. Absolutely ridiculous. What kind of staff do you hire? Maybe the owner should look into this a little more if they want a reputable or even profitable business. read more

Understaffed and a bit slow but the "fast food" is way better than anything McDonald's or Burger King offers.

Worst customer service ever. I've been to plenty of checkers and always received great service but these employees are rude. They start fights with customer and an ex employee admit they sometimes spit on people's order and make orders wrong intentionally. Last night they only had one car in the drive thru and it took 15 minutes to even place my order. After I placed the order they rudely asked me to wait. I'm one to never really go on reviews and type my experience but this has happened multiple times. I really love checkers but with this experience changes my perception of the restaurant. My mom went to pickup our dinner here last night and she had to practically beg the lady for a drink holder for our drinks because the lady wouldn't give her one initially. And the final straw was when she got home and we were missing a burger! What kind of service is that?! We paid for a burger we didn't even receive. It's super frustrating and unacceptable. Horrible service. I ordered a sweet tea. It tasted like sugar water. The woman at the Window rushed me to order I was only there for 30 seconds and she rushed me. Kept saying what you want. Between the dates March 25th 2016 and April 15th 2016, I worked as a Shift Manager for Checkers on Babcock Street. During that time, I have seen the worst restaurant business codes I've ever seen or heard of. From my first day, while doing paperwork on their computer, I had a cockroach crawl onto my hand as I was using the mouse. That would not be the last time I would see and come into contact with cockroaches. Throughout my time there, I've seen them crawl out of the tomatoes that were then place on the line to serve, crawl out of the buns, and crawl down the walls. When I brought this up to the Store (General) Manager, she laughed and said "it's part of the food business". I followed up that with the District Manager, who tried to convince me, and maybe herself, that they were Palmetto Bugs, saying that Palmetto Bugs are "safe' and "definitely aren't cockroaches". Most of the employees don't behave "professionally". They called each other "cunt" over the intercom, got into fights/arguments with customers, and even shut down the store because they couldn't handle too many customers and were getting frustrated. Whenever a rude customer left, they would call them every name in the book. Next, they would have the problem of giving away too much free food. They wondered why their costs and loss was so high, but they didn't realize they gave food out daily to their friends. Even a few times, we were forced to make "free food" and their friend was served fast and correctly, while a paid customer was given the shaft (wrong order, slow, cold, etc.). They gave away so much free food to one customers, that when the repeat free customer came back, they refused her free food and the customer nearly called the police. Checkers also has a problem of employee theft but do nothing about it. Their closing manager would constantly steal from the register, yet since they were short staffed, they kept him on. Lastly, the only reason I worked there was for the money: $10+ hour plus overtime. Other than that, I would've never worked there. I highly recommend not to eat there, I don't care if they gave it to you for free. All I can say is roaches!!! DO NOT EAT THERE!!!!! DO NOT EAT THERE!!!! DO NOT EAT THERE!!! read more
