Forgot the name but it has a spicy sauce with jalapeños and great kick!

Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Food was tasty and fresh. We ordered 2 subs and price was excellent. Definitely visit again and try some additional great options!

Loved the very casual comfortable atmosphere, appreciate the option for bar service, and the creative menu! My party of 5 enjoyed all that we ordered (5 diff sandwiches) and the price was about $80. I was inspired to recreate two of the sandwiches at home and they were great. The bread I would say is the highlight and difficult to find a replacement when making your own. Their ingredients were fresh, abundant, and well thought out. Slightly lower rating due to the price but it is average range for eating out.

They never miss. PeriodT. Regardless of the sandwich, it's always a banger. Great service as usual too. Can't wait to be back for my next Cheba meal

Here for the cheeeeese!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. The food, drinks, employees, and atmosphere all can't be beat!

Kali Mist Piner...with a sprinkle of turkey meat I guess..

My mom and I walked in, and the vibes and customer service were amazing.. Ordered four sandwiches, two Midwest and two, Kali Mist. I'm not sure what happened however, there is ONE thin slice of turkey meat, and a CRAP TON, of lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickle and sauce, and an extremely thin sliced piece of bacon. My sandwich is supposed to be a Turkey Sandwich however, it's more so vegetables, with the slice of turkey being an afterthought. Being that each sandwich costs a little over $11, I was highly disappointed... If I wanted a veggie sandwich, I would have ordered one, being that the options were available. It's a one and done for me... sadly We really wanted something other than, Jersey Mikes... I digress

5-0 (ALL THE PIG, BABY)

We walked and were greeted right away by an energetic person at the register! He answered a few a questions for us and we ordered our food. Went to get our drinks and wow the selection was great! Kool-aid they have Kool-aid!! My wife said it could have used more sugar tho lol! We received our nachos and damn they were good! Crispy chips, ton of cheese, jalapeños, onions, olives (eww IMO) with Ranch and Buffalo sauce!! Right after our Sandwiches were served. I got the Acapulco Gold (BBQ Chicken) it was perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken with lots of yummy veggies! My wife got the 5-0 (ALL THE PIG, BABY!!) And she loved it! Lots of tender meat, fresh veggies and lightly toasted bread on both! The restaurant is pretty large it even has a full bar in the front! The area was clean and it was loud and lively! We'll definitely be back to try some more sandwiches!

I've never had a bad visit to Cheba Hut. This location is a little smaller than its sister location, but has just as many vibes. The staff were just as cool, the place was clean, and the sub sandwiches were simply fantastic. No notes, just perfection. This time around, my fiancé and I tried the Acapulco Gold without onion and the Apollo 13 without tomato, and just like every other sub we've ordered from Cheba Hut, these were hits. The Acapulco was bursting with fresh ingredients; the crisp veggies and tender chicken tasted so amazing with the barbecue sauce that we were sad we only ordered a 4" sub. We won't make that mistake again. Though it was delicious, we agreed the Apollo 13 was even better. We'd figured that it would be good, just not THAT good. This was probably the best Greek inspired anything I've ever had. They managed to create the PERFECT blend of spices and dressings to absolutely nail that Greek flavor profile. Absolutely fantastic. Regardless of the location, there is zero doubt in my mind that we will be returning to Cheba Hut. I maintain that this is my favorite sub shop and I don't think there's another place that can beat them. If you haven't already, go support this insanely amazing chain.

No one out Chiba's the Hut!!! I can't stay away. I'll get the large MidWest Best next time. I can see myself licking holes through the paper wrap. Had a warm reception and learned our clerk does marketing too. Good chap. Service was consistently great. No wait despite a busy lunch rush. Enjoyed TV, Cartoon Network, Chine and lady's rugby. Had fun conversation with my young teenage daughters. My oldest thought Goofy looked like Snoop Dog. I'm so proud. More sarcasm in my pics. Cheers Chebans.

The Best Tastin Toasted Subs! Don't let the decor or menu deter you cuz their sandwiches are bomb. Order up at counter and food will be delivered to your table when ready. Ordered : Kali Mist Blunt on wheat with no house shake or cheese- Yum, yum, yum! Roasted turkey breast, bacon, chipotle mayo, jalapeno, avocado, tomato, lettuce, onion, and pickle. All my faves in one sandwich. Bypassed on the cheese and shake dressing since I'm sensitive to dairy. And not spicy at all, have a high tolerance lol G-13 blunt on wheat- roasted turkey breast, roast beef, bacon, chipotle mayo, provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and shake dressing. Delicious ! We have visited a few times and have thoroughly enjoyed their sandwiches. No complaints. Service was awesome as well- friendly and they check on ya to make sure you are satisfied. Highly recommend

I heard on social media how this place was like a stoner's Quiznos, so of course I had to come scope it out. The options for subs are pretty awesome, and I specifically went with the "Griefo." It was absolutely delicious. I'm so disappointed that I didn't come here before. The jalapeño cream cheese took it to a whole different level. I washed it down with some fruit punch koolaid and some Doritos. The perfect combination when you're flying high. The ambiance was so cool. There was artwork and stickers all over the walls, and they even had a full bar that opened up to the outside. Service is slow, but there is a sign that warns you that it takes them a long time to make your order. I don't know why, but it's worth the wait for sure.

This place is simply amazing!!! I thought I was walking into a regular sandwich shop. No no buddy, this place is like a bar/good food/cool vibe on steroids. I ordered the 8 inch Spicy Club sandwich which looks amazing! Tons of options for you. Came out fast and hot! Was looking for a place to sit when I saw the bar. Ordered a local IPA from the Bar Manager Mario. Super friendly! The sandwich was decently price for the quality. My beer was on tap and going for 6.00. For a fresh, local draft IPA, I'm ok with that. The atmosphere is very chill. Not loud or crazy. But they have a lot of pop culture nostalgia posted everywhere... From Rick and Morty to South Park to Cheeky & Chong. Customer service is top-notch. From the cashier who took my order, to the bar staff, to the food servers that gave me my sandwich. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. I love it when employees seems happy and polite, you can tell that is a good work environment. Location is pretty decent, it's in the corner of a shopping center in Alamo Ranch down the street from a H.E.B. So the parking. Overall, I think this place is amazing. It's not your typical commercialized sandwich shop. They have sports and animation shows on the TV. Come have a beer or cocktail/mocktail and have great time.

This place I can truly say is still one of the best sandwich places in San Antonio. They never miss, the service is always excellent. 10/10 STILL.

Pretzel nuggets with honey mustard dipping sauce

I know everyone likes Jersey Mikes down the street but they are all delulu and need to be at Cheba Hut. One, they have way better ingredients and sandwich combos. Plus the garlic bread is to die for. Always start with some pretzel nuggets to share. They are my kids fave too! Get a pinner (medium) Kali Mist sandwich and wash down with one of the many fabulous beers on tap. I had mango cart on this visit ;) Staff is always friendly, food is always quick and a good time had by all. Stop by the Cheba Hut! You will not regret it. P.s. they have three types of kool aid :)

I had the avocado toast, while my parents ordered the croissant sandwiches. Everything was delicious, and they absolutely loved their meals. I also really enjoyed the coffee. It has such a distinct flavor, and I highly recommend trying it. Of course, we could not leave without taking home several pastries and desserts. The cookies were dangerously addictive. Honestly, skip Crumbl. The flavors here are so much better, and the cookies are just as beautiful as everything else in the bakery. The baklava is also amazing and absolutely worth trying. The café itself is sweet, stylish, and inviting. It is the perfect little spot for breakfast, coffee, or an afternoon treat. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the Alamo Ranch area. They gave us numbers for our table and brought our food and drinks out to us. I really liked how they did Nutella crepe- not overly sweet but just enough of the Nutella and you could enjoy taste of crepe. The baklava latte was tasty but I somehow wished it was in an actual mug since I was dining in the restaurant. My niece enjoyed her salmon toast a lot. My niece ordered a peach smoothie and mango fruit pastry she liked. My brother liked his Turkish coffee okay. The owner came out to check on us and I thought that was humble of her to take our empty plates for us. I would come here again.

After they placed their order I stepped up and placed my order for a number four Lil John no tomatoes and cheese. No drinks, no chips. I stepped back and noticed all of the orders pending. So right away I know it's going to be a wait. Soon after I placed my order, a mom and her little girl come in and place an order. I noticed a lot of people walking in who had placed mobile orders. When the orders start to be completed, the family of three go up and grab their lunch. Then the staff member calls a number four "something something something"couldn't hear him. A woman quickly gets up, grabs the sandwich and walks out, crumbling up the receipt, and not even looking at it. I walk up to the counter and I ask what was that order? He said oh, it's already been picked up. I had a sinking feeling it was my order but OK. Next the lady and her daughter get called for their lunch. They walk up there pick up their lunch and walk away. I look at the counter where they're preparing the sandwiches and there's no little John sandwich being made. I walk up and ask the gentleman again about my sandwich. He asks me my name. I tell him and he says, "could it be under another name?" I said absolutely not. He asked me how I placed my order. Was it an online order? I said no, I walked in after that family placed my order and then the little girl and the mother came after me. This means to me that he doesn't have my order or it means that they're not making the orders as they come in. The female staff member said, we're really busy; not an apology for getting the orders mixed up. My order wasn't complicated. It was a single small sandwich. If they were so busy, why didn't they have more people out there making sandwiches? I noticed Mr. Order-taker heading to the back after every order. Maybe he's taking lunch, but when you're that busy in the food industry shouldn't lunch wait until after the rush? They finally made "my" sandwich. After leaving, I spotted the receipt in the bag. I noticed the last 4 of the Visa card was not mine. I also noticed this person's order while similar to mine, had no mayo. It was placed much later than my order according to my bank info. Proving my theory. I called the store and spoke with the woman who claimed to be the manager. I recognized her voice (the one that said they were really busy). I explained everything I had discovered and that I understood mistakes happen, but not a single one of them apologized. She did finally apologize and offered to credit me for the sandwich, but that wasn't why I called. It was because of the way I was treated. I hope things change. I will also say, the sandwich was not worth the wait. I won't be going back to that location if I can help it.
