Fun place. Close to home. Food is good as well. When we want to get out and have a drink and play a few games, this place is right up our alley

As always, the Rusty Nail never fails. Looks like they rolled out their fall menu which include what I ordered: Pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw ON the sandwich (only way to eat a pulled pork sammy) and I got the black widow, which includes lemon juice + whiskey + blackberry . And it is 10/10 - made by the one and only Spencer lol! Everyone here gives exceptional service and always has a great vibe! The owner is super down to earth as well and really puts effort and quality into his business. Love this place

Always enjoy The Rusty Nail. My husband loves the Hangover burger and my favorite is the fish tacos. The beer selection is nice and the whiskey of course is a plenty. Service is always amazing by bartenders and servers. Honestly everything is excellent here.

Took a drive fine Potranco to join my friend for her birthday at this bar and grill. Didn't know what to expect. It's located in a well lit shopping strip next to Pizza Hut. Everything from the staff, the drinks, the music was great. The music was a mix. Sometimes good country, sometimes 90s and sometimes current hits. They have a large bar. Plenty of options. Drink prices aren't too steep. They can make you well drinks or cocktails. They also have beer in bottles and on top. For those that like seltzers, they have a few available. We did try the fried pickles. They were good. Great tasting batter. They have inside and outside seating. There's games available and darts.

The food was presented well and tased great, service was slow considering it being busy and not enough servers, bar tender was very helpful. The Ambiance was inviting and cozy, great meeting place

My friend and I have been here twice and it was an amazing experience both times! We always get the skillet que so and we love trying their different drinks. The manager Steven is just the nicest and the atmosphere is so fun. This place is best for you and just a few friends; def not a big group type of thing. The bathrooms are always clean and back patio area is cute too with connect 4 and prob some other games. We haven't tried too many bars that made us feel as good as this place; even the patrons that come in are super cool and fun to be around.

Country speakeasy? Maybe. This place is pretty cool. Where country and speakeasy meet. Craft cocktails or draft beer. Good neighborhood bar feel. Did not get to try the food but it did look good. Definitely recommend if you haven't been.

Tried this place with some friends whom have eaten here a few times and took their recommendations and glad we did. This place had good solid food with good flavor and good sized portions and it's really tasty food to be honest. The burger had really good flavor and was cooked medium to my liking. The fries were great and the drinks were on point. The service was a bit slow but probably caught them on a busier day or maybe someone called in because our friends who were with us said, this is the slowest service they had ever received. So will give them the benefit of the doubt that it was an off day. However, if you live or are passing by, this is certainly a great place to eat and or hang out and have some good food and drinks. Will definitely be back again!

We walked in got our temps taken by a very nice lady, we took a seat and the waitress came right over. She told us the drink specials for the day and we ordered our drinks. She came right back with my wife's Peach Long Island which was delicious! And my Old Fashioned, which was one of the best I've ever had! But it was very short.... we ordered our food which took about 15 minutes. I got the breakfast burger and once I put it together it was a monster sandwich! But it was great, meat cooked perfectly lots of bacon and fresh veggies! My wife got the steak fingers and fries and she really liked them, and the fries are so good! We also got an order of the fried pickles, they were hot, fresh and crispy! The staff here is great very friendly and helpful! They also sanitized tables after people left which is nice! Very clean place and I'm happy they opened back up! Will definitely be back!

Food was recommended by a friend but was completely different from what was said. The chicken tenders were as thin as chicken skins.

The crab side appetizer was phenomenal, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the lobster risotto was hands-down mouthwatering. Every bite just kept getting better and better. What really left a bad taste, though, was the review situation. Some of the glowing reviews feel a little too cozy to be credible. One is from a lady who runs a company the restaurant pays into every year, regularly travels with the owners, and hands them a "best of" award annually. Then a review from the husband. Another review is clearly planted. There was also a negative Google review that was quickly followed by rave reviews from friends.. Convenient timing. If this place is truly as amazing the new reviews state, why the need to rally friends for damage control? And why didn't those people feel inspired to review it before things went south? Something feels off here. The inside-circle energy here is loud and proud.

There was a sign to seat yourselves. OK. We sat down and the bartender brought us menus. Us and a group of three were the only customers. Brought us waters. While looking at the menu, a server comes over and asks if we wanted appetizers or go straight to order. Straight to order, please. The husband ordered the brisket pot roast. It came with asparagus and what he thinks was puréed squash. I had the pecan chicken. Panko breaded with pecans and a bourbon sauce. Maple and bourbon were the flavor elements. Came with baked Mac and cheese and sliced slightly charred carrots. This was really good, as was the husbands plate. Warm Sourdough bread and butter is served with the meal. We split a Caesar salad. The salad was OK, the dressing was a little tart and served on the side. I'm taking a slice of chocolate cake to go. As I peek into the bag, it is a generous slice with strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream. Stay tuned. The restaurant is part of the Hillside Resort. Looks like a bunch of rooms. When we were about to leave a group of women came in and sat at the bar. I told the bartender we'd heard about them through Texas Eats. He said 'are they still showing that? That was about six chefs ago!' All righty then. I'd say it's worth a trip to try.

Reservations were made ahead of time for 4 and upon arrival we were were seated right next to the large open windows. Ordered the Berry Patch cocktail- nice and refreshing with a splash of mint leaves. Menu wasn't overwhelming and had a nice assortment of dishes. Starters ordered - pork belly bites and fried Brussels sprouts. Both highly recommend! Dishes ordered- salmon, pork chop, pot roast, and steak. Pork chop and steak were not dry, but juicy with lots of flavor. I loved pot roast growing up , so I had to order it here. Although tasty, texture was a little chewy and tough. Also would have enjoyed a little more helping of vegetable/potato purée underneath the roast. The salmon dish looked fabulous, but was slightly salty. The sweet bun that accompanied each dish were delicious! Service was good. I'd come back to try the pork chop next time around.
