    Creole Shrimp over grits 1/2025
    Sabrina S.

Came as a group to celebrate a Birthday in the bar area. Lovely venue and decor downstairs. Ordered a few drinks and apps. No Happy Hour menu available. Ordered their special drink - sidecar. Tasted ok, but the pour and alcohol was not much. The rim was covered in a layer of sugar, not sure if the drink was worth the price. The shrimp app was delicious - plump meaty shrimp cooked and seasoned well. The pork bites not memorable, as most pieces were dry. We had a great time.. seating was comfy and later in the evening , entertainment was on, as a wonderful singer sang some well known tunes. Awesome venue! Pricey drinks and dishes

My dirty Martini tastes delish... the drunken shrimp tastes delicious and the complementary bread was served warm I love the softness of the bread and butter melts in my mouth. The steak is soft and tasty. Ambiance, service, alcoholic drinks are presented well. Will be back again.

    Amazing presentation!

Absolutely would recommend Elevate to anyone looking for that over the top experience! Food, service and ambiance was spot on!

    Ribeye w/creamed spinach

Tried an Awesome place in Castroville which was so good! Full bar and live music downstairs w/the Resturant upstairs. Fresh sourdough olive bread Is complimentary which Is served hot. Had the lump crab which Is made table side and the ribeye w/creamed spinach. Everything was cooked to perfection w/lots of flavor.

The restaurant itself is lovely inside perfect for small celebrations or family dinners and the service is almost always excellent. I had a strawberry margarita, which was sweet and delicious, just the way I like it! One of my guests ordered a blueberry mixed drink, but they were accidentally served a peach drink. We notified the server immediately, and when he returned, it was the same drink with no straw or cherry. He mentioned the bartender had added blueberry mix into the peach drink rather than bringing the correct one. That felt odd and inconsiderate. If the drink couldn't be swapped or refunded, it would have been much better to simply be informed instead of receiving this unusual workaround. For my meal, I ordered the ribeye steak with asparagus and mashed potatoes as usual. Disappointingly, the entire plate felt bland. The seasoning was minimal, and it didn't taste like the Stone Werks meals I know and love. Steak and mashed potatoes should be a guaranteed win, especially for this restaurant. On the bright side, the calamari was perfect, crispy and flavorful. I'll still be visiting this location because I genuinely enjoy the restaurant. Hopefully this was just an off day, and things will be back to their usual high standard next time.

Maybe today was just an off day for the server Michael and who ever was in the kitchen. First things first, Michael the server. Dude you need an attitude adjustment big time. When you took my order for my food and drink which was for a glass of water and it took a long time to get said glass of water which you just dropped in front of me and it spilled on my hand and you walked away and I had to call you back for a straw of which you threw at me over another guest. Let me tell you buddy, if I was your manager today would have been your last. You were rude and disrespectful. Now onto the review of the food. Which is normally pretty good. Today I had a half sandwich and soup. The soup was cold and the sandwich had a ridiculous small amout of chicken salad on it for the cost. Now, I've run a kitchen or two in my day and this I am sure absolutely did not match what ever portion board the kitchen uses. My plate was taken away and returned by my server Michael again just plopped infront of me as he walks away not waiting to see if this was to my liking. So, today this establishment gets a thumbs down and a NY raspberry.

The place was located in a small plaza off the side of some main roads, and we gathered for a class team building event. By that I mean beer and burgers. The entrance beckons you to come on in, what with its neon sign and all. The walk up feels rustic, and the door makes it official: you're entering an awesome place. There's plenty of seating and every night has something else to offer. I enjoyed the breakfast burger which was delicious. I liked the quality of the bread and the contrast of a well-seasoned patty. The fried egg was prepared beautifully, and the yolk covered the fries waiting below on the tray. The place is military friendly in terms of the bill and our sever, Rebecca, was not only fast and friendly but very welcoming and knowledgeable. Some folks decided to try their hand at Karaoke and had the stage to themselves. I liked that the TVs also had the lyrics up so that you could sing along without having to turn to face the stage. All in all it was a great place to grab a bite and build rapport with colleagues.

We arrived at 12:45, and by 3:00 p.m. only about half of our group had received their food. While the servers themselves were polite and professional, this issue falls squarely on management and whoever approved the reservation knowing they could not reasonably accommodate it. To make matters worse, the food was overpriced and similar to food court food. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this restaurant. If I were the manager I would've comped the whole party. This is not a way to run a business!

There were a number of tables that needed bussing but the kids behind the counter weren't making any effort. We ordered their main burger- The Big Juicy.  The burger was pretty pricey for being alone, not a combo. 2 of us got combos- which was another $5. We got sides and drinks. Tots and rings. Both sides were good. Tots were nice and crispy and fresh. The onion rings were big and crispy. You got a decent amount of both. We were shocked my the size of the fried mushrooms- which is the main reason my wife wanted to come here. She had heard it was prob the best in the city. See the pic below for the incredible size. I don't know where they found mushrooms this size. Now back to the burgers. They were fine. But again, not really worth the size.  We prob won't be back except my wife did say if she was in the area she might grab some mushrooms on to go.   Extra info: Any extra sauces costs extra. Except for mayo/ mustard and ketchup. Also- they do not offer a military discount.
