I had Cheapo Plumbing install two toilets over the Christmas holiday. Last night one of the toilets clogged. I called them this morning and explained that one of the toiled clogged. They accused me of throwing something down the toilet and said I needed to pay them $200.00 to unclog it because it was the weekend. I explained I had no problem paying the rate, only if they actually found something and if they didn't...could I pay them the weekday rate of 120.00. The plumber proceeded to tell me if they didn't find anything then it might be the sewer line and they would need to charge me more. He was so aggressive I just told him it was okay. I paid them $1200 for both toilets and they didn't even want to help me even through I was willing to pay them. read more

Mike the owner of this service was quite sure he gave recommendation on how to tackle a quick toilet seal repair would cost. I feel that he could have itemize the receipt showing cost of the toilet and cost for the labor, instead of pricing it out a flat 800.00. Cost of avg is repair 250-550. American Standard toilet is about 220.00 Wax toilet seal is 15.00 Labor varies but should not be over 500.00 The issue I have is that the customer whom I referred is a senior citizen on a fix income. I was hoping that they see this opportunity to do a great service without having to feel to gouged for a repair bill. I called to see if we can mitigate this and possibly apply my military discount so that she can get a break, and without hesitation he refused for a job already completed. I am not happy that it cost this good friend of mine money and not feeling satisfied for the service they rendered. I will not be referring this company to anybody else in my community and in Suisun where I live. He is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. He quoted me over $200 (approaching $300)to replace the innards in my toilet. That is crazy as hell. Our toilet got clogged and I reached out to roto rooter and they put me on a dispatch board. So I went to yelp to find someone more personable, I spoke with Mike and explained to him my issue and he had Kody out here in 30 minutes. Kody was very respectful. I found out that they are a family owned business. Kody had the pipes clear in 3 minutes, and half of the price of what rooter was going to charge me. We had a water heater replaced by Michael Pagan a few years ago. The work was terrible and not up to code. The pipework and soldering was not professionally. The mounting brackets was not done correctly. There are too many issues to list. It was done safely. Apparently if the cost is under $700 they are not required to do the work up to code. Friday evening I come home from work to a slow dripping shower head in my master bathroom. By Saturday morning it was a steady leaking stream of water, so I called Cheapo Plumber. Michael was very professional He asked what year the house was built, and if I wanted to text an image of my shower knob to determine if he had the type of part needed for the job. Within minutes he provided a quote and set up an appointment to come over. Prior to arriving, Michael did warn me that the price would be cheaper to come out during the week vs. the weekend (Hmm...let's see...pay the weekend rate or pay an extremely high water bill because of this steady water leak? They quoted us $6000.00 to replace our sewage pipe and main water line due to a leak we found in our front lawn. Needless to say we got a second opinion and paid a fraction of what they quoted. It turned out none of our pipes needed to be replaced, a portion of the pipe just needed to be reattached. Additionally, I was told the initial service would cost $150 to diagnose. They left our property saying they needed to get a camera. Never used the camera at our property and charged us an additional $100. We purchased a kitchen faucet from Lowe's and wanted it installed. After looking up local plumbers I called cheapo and their voicemail stated they were all booked the day of but would be getting back to me later to schedule. Sure enough I received a call later in the day to set up the install for the morning. They came with two installers who were very professional. They did the job within 30 minutes. We found a small leak from a part they installed right when they were done so waved them back and they were able to diagnose and stop it. The only reason not 5 stars is they are not cheap even though their name would make u believe that. Definitely on the higher end of the quoted installs I received after when I called a few other places after. That said their customer service and speed are great so if you need something done quickly and professionally they're worth a call. read more

It's always a great feeling to find and support local family businesses. Cheap O plumbing provided fast courteous service at what i consider a reasonable price. I've used some of the big name plumbing services around Vacaville in the past and wound up disappointed on price and quality of workmanship. The big guys would always try to up-sell me on services and longterm contracts. This is not the case with Cheap O. I had some minor plumbing needs: 2 failed pressure regulators, and 2 leaking shutoff valves that needed to be replaced. There was some concrete cutting that had to happen as well in order to get to the root if the problem and prevent future issues. Michael put me on the schedule for first thing next morning. He was in time and ready to roll. I won't quote specific dollars, but i walk away feeling that i paid a fair price for the services I received. I now consider him "my" plumber, meaning i no longer need to consult the phone book for any future plumbing needs. Mike's my guy! read more

I had a copper water line rupture that was attached to my sprinkler system outside. Where the pipe burst was conveniently behind my stucco wall which needed to be cut to access the repair. I had to shut off the water and didn't have time to repair myself given my circumstances. I called several different places, it was 5pm mainly everyone closing, but these guys picked up the phone listened to my problem I had and gave me a price over the phone which was very reasonable for me. I was given the opportunity to have them come out right away or first thing the next morning at 830am which I thought was nice. I called on a Sunday to have a new faucet put in our kitchen. The guy right off the bat cops an attitude. I told him I purchased the faucet at Home Depot. He then goes on a tirade telling me he ONLY installs Moen and is a registered dealer...he has the fixtures STARTING at 350.00. I could buy the same one at Lowes for 150.00. He then tells me he will NOT guarantee his work from leaks due to an inferior Chinese product.. whatever.. he also states that it would be another 250 plus to install.. and I had to sign a waiver for him to do the work... yeah ok red flag number 3. I told him my wife (who is a lawyer) would be happy to look it over.. another attitude.."I don't deal with lawyers" Bottom line, I called another plumber this morning at 8 am and it was done by 11 NO problems.. and for 200.00... leave your attitude at home... would NOT recommend. read more

Highly recommend Michael and his crew. Great work, great prices. Had a pipe in the wall behind the kitchen that must have been leaking for a long time, wasn't found until the hot water line to the faucet broke. It caused major damage to the 2×4 framing, the drywall, also mold was growing. Michael and his crew came in on Thursday demo'd the kitchen and started drying everything out. Friday they started at 730am new plumbing, new garbage disposal, new sink, new faucet, new cabinets, new countertop, new flooring, new paint, new 2×4's and drywall, they changed the layout of the kitchen to make it an open space like we have always wanted. I couldn't be more satisfied with a plumbing experience. Had a pipe leaking under my house, and started to smell sewage coming from the vents. Called for an estimate, Mike came out and went into the crawl space to find out what's going on. Ended up being a broken drain pipe flooding my crawl space. Gave me a price, I went back and forth with my home warranty and insurance, of course naturally doing everything in their power to not cover the damage to my house (save that for another review lol). After all the back and forth decided to call Mike back and have him start the work to take care of this problem before it gets any worse and causes more damage. He and his crew came to my house same day I called and knocked out the problem in a few hours. They're all chill to talk to and kick back, not sure why a few of the other reviews said anything about an attitude problem ‍, maybe y'all need to stop being so sensitive.
