I have now used Saigon Towing twice and both times zero complaints from me! This last time Yong told me that I didn't even need to be at the place where my disabled car was at, he would pick it up himself and meet me at the dealer where I needed to get it repaired. He was early for pick up and delivery and saved me a ton of time and money in the process. Unlike most towing professionals, Yong is very approachable, pleasant, well dressed - you don't feel intimidated, greasy, or in need of air fresheners when working with him. Tip: Be patient, English is NOT Yong's first language, politeness is. At least you don't have to be fluent in pidgin to communicate effectively. The key and this is critical, after making the initial call to confirm the tow, to follow up with a TEXT message with the make, model, color and license plate of your car, as well as the specific address and time for the pick up and delivery. When using text messaging, Yong is VERY responsive and follows up well. I was getting heads up on early arrival time, ETA for delivery, when he actually arrived - all in real time via text messaging. I was so impressed that I gave him a nice tip and so should you IF you receive excellent service, especially considering the lower rates he charges than most. read more

Walt rescued me when my wifes car broke down. Charged me less than 90 dollars to tow the vehicle to my residence on Hickam Air Base. It was a holiday and he was busy. Had to wait a while but the service was excellent . Great value no price gauging. I will recommend his services to my friends and co-workers on Oahu. read more

Used them today. Called them earlier this morn to tow my car in Kalihi @ 10:30 am. When I reached Kalihi @ 10:15 am I called them that I was there. 10:43 am & 11:12 am I called because the tow truck still was MIA. Owner said tow truck was coming. 11:17 am called again cause still MIA but now no answer & went to voice mail. I was in the process of using another tow company when tow truck finally showed up at 11:20 am. I was referred to this tow company by my car insurance agency. Afterwards, I made a complaint to my insurance company as this was unacceptable customer service. I didn't even receive a courtesy apology from the owner so he deserves this morbid review. I gave this a 1 star review because his tow truck finally showed up after 4 phone calls & a 1 hr delay even with advance notice. Price is cheap but again when you pay cheap you get cheap. read more

Forget the rest call the best....... these guys saved my day. And it was in fact cheap.

Had to get a tow yesterday and my mechanic recommended Saigon Towing. Called a few places and they said they could be there in 1-3 hours. When I asked the price Saigon was the best and he came through in less than 30 minutes. Family company, his son has a Towing company as well. Would recommend Saigon Towing. read more

I had a pretty crappy experience maybe because my tow was from Sand Island access road to maili YES west coast.... my husband was suppose meet this guy at around 10am... he was NO SHOW, than my husband decides to call me at 11:30am ( which is his lunch break ) to ask why didn't the guy show up... I called him and he told me " oh, no can pick up were too busy right now...... about 1-2pm..." then I told him call me before he goes. At about 12:40pm I was putting my daughter down for a nap and no I didn't have my phone on me. I missed his call and He called 3x I felt really bad, so I called him back at 1:05pm no answer, I called the driver back no answer. Finally at 1:11pm, the driver answered and he was PISST. Snapping at me.... I'm not too sure how you guys got NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE but I didn't get any of it. Yes i understand i didnt answer his phone BUT i was expecting the call after 1..... wouldn't even give these guys a star truthfully. My husband paid cash so I called the boss and informed him and all I heard from him was " MY DRIVER TRIED TO CALL YEEEEEEEWW!!" in a nasty, unprofessional way!! I guess you get what you paid for. read more

Car died. They are responsive, fast, and good at what they do. Great, painfree experience. Highly recommend!

Fully recommend, had to get my totaled vehicle towed and Saigon Towing was extremely helpful in getting my car into a fitted apartment parking stall. Very reasonable price that I appreciate. Will definitely call and recommend for any future towing needs. read more

I was referred here by the repair shop i currently go to. I called yesterday and gave the man my information. He however was booked for the day but i did however call late in the day so i didn't mind. He gave me a really good quote and told me to call the following morning to schedule a towing. This being the following day, i called in the morning just as instructed. Might i add, they answered right away every time on the first one or two rings. He said he'll pick it up the next hour. When he arrived, he called me and i came outside with money and my key as he's towing it to my mechanic. I was happy to see what a honest man this was. He gave me change and was very polite and respectful. As well as very reasonable quotes. Thank you very much. For all my future towing needs, i will be back. read more

Thank you, Norman, for your quick and efficient service! You were very kind and helpful in a stressful situation.

I called them to have my car towed. The guy who answered gave me a 45 minute wait time. The tow truck driver arrived about 30 mins later. They were pretty fast for a Friday night. I totally recommend this business. read more

Fast and reliable , for BMW not as reasonable as reviews by truck owners. Nevertheless, reliable and punctual . I would call him again !

Saigon was recommended by my auto shop, K&Y Auto (who is also VERY VERY awesome!) and he responded right away, was super professional and polite. He came exactly when he said he would and did a great job. Hopefully, I won't need towing services again, but if I do, Saigon will be the first that I call. read more

My cars clutch went out and I just needed a tow from my house to a place 3 mins from my house. And they are not too far my house either. They're like 10 minutes from my house tops. For 1 they were gonna charge me $140 and I thought that was slightly unreasonable, compared to what other people have been charged. They had also told me that they would be at my house in a 45 minute time frame. So I got a call saying they were there shortly after I had called, but I wasn't home yet. Then I call again letting them know I would be there in a few and then they tell me that no one was there. And that they had someone heading down but he said he was just gonna turn around. He said he didn't want to come anymore because I must've been confused.... I'm a 19 year old kid that just needed some damn help. read more

I hate calling towing companies.. especially since one was in the news this week for doing sketchy things... my mom didn't have roadside assistance so I had no choice. Auto shop recommended and I was hesitant tbh... BUT the price was better than any other I've ever gotten, and Yong arrived so quick. In addition, he was SO helpful making sure my mom got EVERYTHING out of the car. I hope I never have to, but If I do I would definitely call them again. Super nice, non intimidating , and patient service. Loved it, and made the whole situation less drama. read more

I don't know what everyone else is talking about but Cheap Towing refused to pick me up. I broke down on Kam Highway right before getting on the Pali, literally right before that intersection, about 4:00pm. I called my boyfriend who found Cheap Towing on yelp and called them, solely because of their great reviews. Within minutes they called me and asked where it was that I'd broken down exactly...then he said "Ooooh...yeeeeeah, you can't be on that road, yeah? You don't want to block traffic." Naw, really? I explained that I couldn't exactly help that since my car had literally just died in the middle of the far left lane. Long story short, he was saying a bunch of things about police and maybe I should call them, blah, blah, eventually saying, "Yeah I don't think I can get you." I asked, "So...you're telling me you can't tow my car?" The guy replied, "Yeah, I don't think I can send my driver there." Being totally standed in the middle of the freaking highway with irritated motorists honking at me, he was wasting my time at that point so I didn't bother to bargain with him any further and hung up to call another Two Truck company -- I won't say who but...they'll treat you like a "Very Important Person." -- they were super, SUPER helpful! ;) I mean, a bunch of other people have good experiences with them...but I barely even had an experience with the company due to the fact that he just didn't want to pick me up on the Pali. It wasn't like I was in friggn' Waianae or something. I won't be calling them again. read more

Our van broke down one sunny afternoon, and it was my job to call the tow truck while guy tried to fix the car. In the space of about an hour, I called about two dozen tow truck companies. I stopped calling after Cheap Towing. This guy is seriously the cheapest out of ANYBODY out there--by about half the price! I didn't expect the name to be so true. I suspected a marketing ploy. But lo! Cheap towing is really cheap! We had him tow our van to Oscar's Auto Repair in Kalihi--also highly recommended. read more

Not sure what everyone is raving about on here. I was stuck at Walmart PC at 5:30 in the morning. Asked a friend to send me tow truck company numbers so I could find someone who could help me out. They opened at 6 so I called at 6:01. I explained that I was stuck and needed a tow. All he said was, sorry I'm busy today I can't get you. How can a tow truck company be busy the entire day when they just opened?!?!?! If you ask me, sounded like he just woke up and wasn't ready to start his day. I will never use this company for anything. You get what you pay for, and the company name says it all! read more

Completely recommend this company! Fast, friendly and available! I locked my friends keys in her car and called around for a locksmith, it was already 11pm. Calling around I got a bunch of grouchy half awake phone reps that said they couldn't tell me the charge until the job was done. Some had a flat rate of $100!!! So we ended up calling Cheap Towing. They charge a flat rate and where very knowledgable and quick. They where there in just 15 mins & had the keys out in 2! Plus the guy who helped us was super nice. Definitely recommend this company for all towing and locksmith needs!!! read more

It took a while to get in contact with this towing company since the line was always busy. When I finally got an answer, the owner told me to text him my address, and a tow truck would show up in 30 minutes. I texted him my address, and kind of expected a reply. After waiting 15 minutes, I got kind of nervous so I called again and he confirmed the tow truck was on it's way. Sure enough, it showed up 30 minutes after the initial call. The guy driving the tow truck was very friendly and helpful. The tow went by quickly and without problems. He charged me $60, and I tipped him $10 for a total of $70. I would give them a 4.5 if I could since I didn't really receive a confirmation on my text, but I would hate to give them a 4 just because of that so I rounded it up to a 5. read more

Where do I start... My wheel cylinder went out in Nuuanu and I looked to Yelp to find a decent tow guy, since my friend was busy on a tow already. The dude was a little late, didn't speak great english, BUT he was a stud. It was INEXPENSIVE and he was a stand up guy. Talked a lot about himself and for some people that's not what they like, but he was just being himself. Really down to earth. He actually took my truck to Kaneohe THEN dropped me off in Kahalu'u!!! Say What?!! Service with a smile and didn't even try and charge me extra. I tried to give him more, but he wasn't having it. MUST call!!! read more

This really is a great towing company. Stand up people. Car broke down on the ala wai at 530 traffic when the bridge in Aiea broke down and closed H1. We called around for cheap towing cause we needed it from Waikiki to Millilani. He said it was 90 flat! What a deal! Took him an hour to get to Waikiki but I expect every tow company to take a good hour. Once he came the side logo said Saigon towing? But it was the same people we called. The earlier reviews were right about their English not being good. But who cares when u can get a cheap tow? Ill surely be calling then again if I break down. Thanks! read more

I see that there are some mixed reviews on here, so I just wanted to share my experience since it was excellent. The owner Young answered my call quickly, gave me a straightforward estimate which was way cheaper than others I had just gotten, arrived when he said he would, and performed the tow efficiently. The price was right so I used him again the next day and the service was even better. Young dropped my girlfriend off at her work on the way to the mechanic, and also waited for me at the mechanic for 15 minutes then offered me a ride back to my work. At the end of the day I try to do business with people I trust. Young is a solid dude who you can trust. I will always use him moving forward and would highly recommend you give him a shot if you need a tow. read more

I called them twice, first time was last mon out by North Shore, the guy on the phone was rude, and asking all kinda stupid questions, and finally he said was too far from town, unbelievable. Second time, which is today, just called them again, was rude as last time, this time my mom's little car couldn't start, and is parked inside of parking structure, and they said is too diffcult to tow, I explained to them i have seen cars been towed out from the same parking structure, simply they just don't want your business or just some easy jobs. Never call them again, so ridiculous. Makes me wonder how they stay in business. read more

They came about 30 mins late but as soon as they got there Jason had the car hooked up in less then 5 minutes and we were on our way. I paid $90 to get a tow from Pearl Ridge to Honda Winward Auto Body Shop. This is Hands down the most affordable tow I've ever had.
