The entire service had such an authentic, relaxing vibe. The soothing coffee & milk soak, detailed callus removal, nail shaping, cuticle care, and the espresso sugar scrub all felt so high-quality and intentional. The coffee butter mask and collagen-infused socks made the whole experience feel deeply hydrating and premium. To top it off, they even served me a Vietnamese coffee, which made the whole treatment feel extra special, authentic, and thoughtful. The massage was heavenly -- slow, relaxing, and not rushed at all. I could feel they really cared about giving a calming experience. Another customer arrived at the same time as me and received a full set of acrylic nails, yet she finished before I did. All I requested was the removal of my acrylics and regular nail polish. The technician assigned to me repeatedly left me unattended to go eat and seemed visibly annoyed that I chose regular polish instead of gel. She did not properly layer the polish and rushed through the service. I was told that regular polish takes longer to dry and that I should have chosen gel instead. Despite paying $45, my nails never fully dried. By the time I left, they were clumpy, smudged, and ruined. I asked multiple times for assistance or a solution, but no one helped or attempted to fix the issue. Overall, the service was unprofessional and disappointing. I am never coming back here again.

I didn't want to write a review, but I feel like what I noticed today is the last straw…read more When I first came into the salon, I had waited 40+ minutes to officially be seated with a nail tech, and I didn't mind it TOO much because I had no plans later in the evening and they treated me with a kind 10% discount for the wait. What started to be slightly upsetting though was the nail tech telling me they are unable to do the art I wanted (simple painted flower) and suggested several stickers for me to go through uncomfortably while she's working on my hands. All throughout the prep process I felt rushed to find the sticker I wanted (obviously took time because I wasn't expecting to even have to find stickers in the first place-) and it would have been nice for them to at least help in suggesting which stickers of hers would match the best with the image I gave her, but I finally chose the stickers, and when i first sat down she had let me know she can do a try-out/test nail to test a color she suggested out of the blue because "she doesn't want me to end up with a color i don't want". When I told her the stickers I wanted once she was done with the prepping, she suddenly felt panicked, looking at the front desk several times and complained to me how i "didn't know what i wanted" (suggesting i took too long choosing) while telling me she won't do the try-out/test nail color because she doesn't have time, pointing to the front desk of literally one customer in line; telling me she has only tEN MINUTES left of her time. I was shook because I legit spent almost an hoUR sitting around and now she's complaining and ruSHING the process!! She quickly glued the stickers and put on a top coat and called it a day. I thought to myself maybe she was just new.. but today (about 2 weeks later) I noticed when my nail grew out, she had actually buffed/drilled my NATURAL nail deeper than needed when trying to make the gel x seamless with my natural nail (image attached below). I'm actually so upset by this and will never be coming back again. I was a fan of this salon chain but maybe its only good at santana row/sunnyvale areas, nOT morgan hill.

And the lady who did my nails (I wish I got her name) did my nails so fast and with precision, I was in and out within 30 minutes. Then I came yesterday with an appointment with Leo because I saw that he does design and let me just say, he was so attentive of my needs and made sure that I was okay throughout the whole process. And let me just tell you, im terrified of letting anybody do design on my nails due to bad experiences in the past but Leo changed that fear. My nails look so cute and it's exactly what I wanted and more because he tried a new cateye technique and it is so cute! The vibe in the area is also good too as everybody there was so sweet and they also have snacks available. I am now recommending this place to everybody I know and I'll definitely be coming back. I was in chair #4 and somehow got skipped while two technicians started working on my friends first. I waited about 30 minutes before anyone even came to me. When the technician finally came (short hair, usually at the front greeting customers), she rushed through my pedicure. In less than 20 minutes, she said she was done cleaning my nails and ready to paint. Meanwhile, my friends weren't even close to being done yet that's how rushed my entire service was. I had to stop her and ask her to clean the sides of my toenails, especially my big toes, and she refused, saying it could cause infection. I've had plenty of pedicures before and know what a proper cleaning is. What she did was the bare minimum basically just cutting my nails. (I could have done this at home) She barely touched one side of one toe and then told me to "clean it at home." That's honestly ridiculous. Why am I paying for a service just to be told to finish it myself? What made it worse is this is NOT the first time this has happened with the same technician. Months ago, I asked for the same thing and she actually stopped mid-pedicure, left, and came back with a waiver for me to sign saying I'd be responsible for any infection. I gave her the benefit of the doubt this time thinking it was a one-time issue, but clearly it's not. This time, instead of a waiver, she took a picture of my toes with no explanation and NO PERMISSION, which was extremely weird and uncomfortable. On top of everything, the callus removal was uneven one foot was done more than the other. The entire service felt rushed, careless, and dismissive. Being skipped, rushed, refused basic service, told to finish the job at home, and having photos taken without explanation is not okay especially when I'm paying for the service. I will not be returning. TAO, handle your employees because this is one of the reasons you're loosing costumers.
