The ambiance was definitely a family feel. This cute mom and pop shop is definitely a go to for me because I love supporting small businesses and I really like their service. The mom was eating but got straight up to the kitchen to make my order The pop came out and gave me my smoothies with the biggest smile and I just couldn't help but smile too and that's why I gave this place 4 stars. I knocked one star off only because I have yet to try the food. But tasting their smoothies and for their price, really brought me back to home. It's a bit of a tight space so if you have a big family (4+) and they already have people seated, it might be a bit tight in there but it definitely looks like a great place to relax and eat and enjoy your own food. I do plan to eat here soon but I just ordered some drinks to go. My smoothies were delicious and I definitely plan to come back.

I found the shell of a cockroach in my beef stew.If there's roaches in the food trust and believe there's an infestation in the kitchen.

I found a cockroach in my beef stew! I'm so pissed and disgusted. If there's roaches in the food then trust there's a full infestation in the establishment.

Family owned business, good food, decent price, excellent service! I was on a quest for pho and wanted to try all the pho restaurants in town (which wasn't that many actually). Due to their operation hours, it was hard for me to come here for dinner, after tried and missed couple times, I figured my best shot would be during lunch. This place is extremely underrated. Tucked away in between bunch of restaurants and businesses in this stripped mall, they're easy to miss if you don't pay attention. I showed up at lunch several times, and never seen more than 4-5 customers at once. Not sure if people prefer to get the food to go rather than eating here. I've had the pho, grill pork spring rolls, and the Vietnamese coffee with boba from here so far. The pho has a good flavor, however, it doesn't come with any basil (the only reason y I don't come back here for the pho after the first time), and the bean sprouts already come inside the bowl, so make sure to ask for none when you order if you're not a fan of bean sprouts. Their spring rolls are good too, just make sure you request fish sauce cuz I think it comes with peanut sauce instead. Might be surprising, but they have the best boba I could find around the area. That's why I keep coming back to get my boba fix. One interesting fact: the restaurant is owned and run by a Filipino family. It used to be owned by Vietnamese, but the previous owner moved back to California. The new owners loved the food and restaurant so much, they offered to buy it and had the previous owner teach them how to cook everything. Their 2 adorable kids are at the restaurant to help out a lot, they definitely remind me of myself when I had to do "child labor" for my mom to earn my plane ticket to the States haha (kidding of course, please don't report my mom!)

The beef pho, egg rolls, and literally any banh mi on the menus go so hard. If you're not familiar with banh mi, then get the barbecue pork banh mi. And get the mango peach green tea! I normally gravitate towards milk based drinks, but it pairs well with the beef pho. It's not watery at all; very peachy and you can still taste the green tea flavor well. I reccomend adding lychee jelly in it! The owner is also very friendly

Decided to give this place a try and it did not disappoint!!!! The Pho tai was legit the best I've had in a while! Spring rolls and the sauce was perfect! Everything was tasty! Small place you order at the register and pay and seat yourself. I will definitely come back I hear the banh mi is terrific I'll have to try that next! They also have loads of boba tea

My husband and i have been looking for a better Pho place with more boba options, and let me tell you this restaurant does not disappoint! They have so many options for boba. The Pho was fresh and delicious! We also ordered spring rolls with beef instead of shrimp! Everything was so fresh and clean! i appreciated walking in and it smelled like clean incense rather than food! It was quiet and yet welcoming! We will be back!

Recently moving to Killeen I've been searching for a Thai tea smoothie /boba that I can obsess over & I'm SO glad I found this place! I was not able to experience the full dine in experience due to COVID19 but nonetheless, the owner had amazing hospitality & I will definitely will be returning to try more of the menu! GREAT experience!

Didn't take a picture of the spring rolls because me and my friend scarfed it down. But we both got the bahn mi and the bread was one of the best breads I've had with my bahn mi. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the meat was warm on the outside but cold on inside but it wasn't raw. Will definitely be back to try it again perhaps the chicken one.

I guess if you have never had Pho before, this would consist to be ok. But pho here is not pho. It's water with box seasoning. .

01.24.2024 - Banhi Mi Boys - Killeen, Texas - I'm here right now waiting for my order. It's their…read moresoft opening and I bought their Grilled Pork Banh Mi. That's all for now. I took a copy of their menu and sat and waited. Then I later realized that I wanted Patè. It's not on the menu but the ladies at the counter were nice enough to add it with no fuss. I just can't imagine without patè. The menu looks promising. Lots of choices like spring rolls and wings. It looks good. But since this place is named Banh Mi Boys, I'm assuming their sandwiches should be the star of their menu. Let's see! I bought it as take out. So if you want patè, you need to ask. Which is not a problem. I'll continue my review when I take the sandwich home. I'm in a hurry to get home. Took a bite and the bread is actually toasted. The amount of veggies ratio to meat is fine. My preference would be to have more of the pickled veggies. The pickled veggies must've been made in house. It tasted fresh and crunchy. I guess what I'm use to with the California Banh Mi is a little different. I'm use to deep marinade into the meats but this will do for now since it's a soft opening. A bit too charred for me on the meat but then again Texas region they like that sort of stuff in their bbq. So I take into account that the cultural influence in the area. They've added fresh cucumbers, cilantro and jalapenos. Overall they have a nice looking menu. I would probably prefer a little more Patè. The pork meat would been better if it were sliced thinly. I like more veggies. Maybe next time I can say it when I go in for my next round. So far it's good. Im trying to not be overly picky. Been to so many Vietnamese restaurants and Banh mi places, I know what I'm looking for. It's a soft opening so I'll keep my expectations to as it is. It's brand new. I'm looking forward to trying the other stuff on their menu.

I saw an advertisement on Instagram about this spot and really wanted to try it. I gave 3 stars…read morebecause I was so excited about trying this place and I ended up getting disappointed but it's partially my fault because I didn't consume the food while it was fresh. I think it was about an hour before I got to eat it and the fries aren't something you would warm up, if you know what I mean. I was really looking forward to trying this and it just didn't give what it was supposed to, for me. The service was good tho and quick, the young ladies at the front counter were very sweet. The ambiance in the restaurant was very family feel and clean so I can definitely appreciate that, not to mention the artwork on the walls are beautiful. I ordered over the phone and it was quick & efficient. The order was of a steak & egg bahn mi, a char siu bahn mi, an order of Cajun crack fries and steak & egg fries. I enjoyed my char siu bahn mi, I'd give it a 7.5/10 - mainly because my bread buns were a little hard which made it a little hard to chew but it was still delicious. The Cajun crack fries was referred to me by the young lady on the phone and it was good, tho I didn't really eat the fries, I mainly ate the chicken and bacon that was in on it (because I didn't eat it fresh, the heat created some condensation inside the plate and made the fries soggy). I have a feeling that if I had it fresh it would have been better, it's why I gave this review 3 stars. My husband had the steak and eggs and although he did not enjoy it (he didn't like that when he'd bite into the sandwich all the meat would come out), I finished all of his food (lol). The steak was a little tough but I love the egg on it too. I hope to try this place again, another day so I could give it a more justified review. I do recommend this place though.
