The coffee is delicious, depending on whose making it. It is not consistent. Baristas come out and ask you what you want like you're supposed to know their menu. Just had a cappuccino with oat milk and a ham 'n cheese croissant with everything seasoning. It was buttery and flaky just like a croissant should be. I delighted in every buttery bite. However, no cap, not enough foam in the cap...puccino. Lampasas didn't get the crowds they were expecting probably because of the cloudy skies forecast. We were on our way to Grapevine from San Antonio and were taking 281 north to have a more relaxed trip. I was wanting some iced coffee and saw that Alamo Coffee was on our way so decided to stop. The staff were very nice and the place looks brand new. If you go into the store, they have clean restrooms which are an important find on a road trip. They also had water and other drinks available. We got the cold brew with chocolate syrup and enjoyed them. The coffee flavor of their cold brew is very bold which I like. They have a drive through as well if you rather not go into the store. read more

We went in for coffee, but soon found out that they had so much more!!! The environment is like a fancy Barndomenium with a fun outside seating. Going thru town on long trip back to Nevada. So glad I stopped in for a cup of coffee and snack. First, the two ladies who were working Mason and Caitlyn were extremely nice and friendly. Tried one of Masons home made Lemon Blueberry Muffins. OFF THE CHART KILLER. Loaded with blueberries and did not fall apart while eating. Promise it was not her first muffin. They had brownies, cookies and pastries. And the coffee was strong and smooth not like the kerosene they offer and at the big chain. You will not find a cleaner and more sanitary business anywhere in the U.S. And the bathroom was spotless. You will never go to a public restaurant or business and find a cleaner bathroom. All the decor in the entire place was very classy, comfortable and made me feel very comfortable. Came here on my fiancé's birthday for the first time and we loved it! We both had the BLTA and as someone who doesn't normally like avocado, I really enjoyed the sandwich! We dined in. After getting our drinks and food, we sat in the car and gave the food a try. Salsa for the casadilla was so good I went inside for more. Great ambiance, customer service, and a great place to come to sit and work. I've never heard of them closing their lobby due to a staff shortage. A large coffee chain that just opened in town, off the main hwy, closed their lobby already due to that and that's not something I've seen before.
