Perfect! ...and the caffeine works! Yeah they're pretty far from us but we go out this way anyway. They customized my preference the last several times we've been here. Really nice of them. Cool menu with options. I appreciate their fast teamwork too! I love the coconut boba with double espresso shots. I always forget if I have that in the afternoons, I'm awake straight through the morning. Sometimes I need to be, but the zombie buzz lingers. That's how I know their coffee "works" :P They've got tables and a standing bar with charging outlets suited for nomads. It's usually clean walking in and they greet you right away. UPDATE: The white girl wearing glasses with short blonde hair behind the counter screamed so loud at me that my 5 year old son who was using the restroom heard her. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE! Her behavior is extremely unprofessional and intolerable. I have spent so much money at that store and now I regret every dollar. I regret bringing my 4 - and 5 year old children there as they were terrified by the employee's rage and outbursts. The girl has zero self controll and needs to find a different career as customer service is not for her. We have been meaning to try out Bloom for some time but don't venture out to Harker Heights/Killeen often enough. Today was our opportunity. We walked in and were greeted immediately by the young lady behind the counter. I was so excited by their extensive menu. Recognizing some things I'd grown up with. We were impressed by the offerings and excited to try everything. For our little one, a small cookies and cream bingsoo. My husband ordered the original milk tea and I went for the brown sugar milk tea. My little one loved the bingsoo. So did my husband. They scarfed that bowl down in matter of minutes. I tried it also. Would definitely recommend. The milk teas were...not as good. The original milk tea had an odd flavor to it. I noticed my husband making a face when he took a sip. I offered him mine in trade. The brown sugar milk tea is nice albeit slightly strong in flavor. My husband had about half of that and called it quits. We will probably be back to try other things and the bingsoo was a hit. If at first you don't succeed, keep trying all the things on the menu. read more

Looking for a good little boba cafe? Check this place out! Reminds me of the cafes in Korea! It's bright and a beautiful space. The wooden finishes on the tables and benches are a nice touch. The menu is huge and a little intimidating when you walk to the counter but they have printouts of it too. The girl at the counter was sweet and welcoming. I ordered a taro with milk tea with boba and lychee jelly and a mango iced tea with boba. The milk tea is nice and creamy, no watered down flavor, the tea has a sweet mango flavor, not an artificial overly sweet taste either. They have different ramens, board games and a few snacks. Overall looks like a cute place to study. I'll be back to try their other desserts too. This was my first visit to The Bloom. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The wait time for my order wasn't long at all. I had a chai latte and a liege waffle, topped with ice cream, fruit and drizzled with chocolate syrup. Both were yummy. read more

I walked in and asked for ramen with cheese & egg and they said it was $2 extra.... $1 for cheese??? Come on now. Also, none of their smoothies are made with real fruit/aren't fresh. I thought that was normal for a small Killeen shop but I see new places opening with ONLY real fruit. Everyone should spend their time there. Workers here also seem underpaid and frightened of management. I saw a girl who used to work there and asked her why she doesn't work there anymore... WAY underpaid!! If you're charging me $8 for a smoothie... I want these workers to get paid. This is ridiculous. I've been visiting The Bloom for over a year now. What a fantastic, diverse and amazing experience I have had each time! Boba (tiny tapioca pearls) drinks, coffee, Bingsoo (shaved milk ice that is SO amazing), Thai tea, waffles and ice cream. Yes, this tiny shop really has so much to offer. In addition the service is fast, professional and always with a smile. They offer an incentive card (punches) for purchases. I am going to visit the locations in Killeen and Copperas Cove to see if there's any difference but I am willing to bet it will be JUST as good! read more
