Fantastic coffee shop! It's not visible off the highway, but if you see this, you definitely need to stop in! The sweetest pup greeted us at the door & definitely made our morning! They have an amazing cinnamon roll latte. We also purchased some coffee beans that I'm excited to try!

Absolutely amazing experience! What a spot! Local gem. The coffee was unbelievable but on top of that we got to meet some locals and hear stories about the town and its history. We are visiting from CA and wanted a local experience and we got one!

What a neat find! It is the only game in town, but still worth a try. I prefer dark roasts, black, so I am choosy about the roasting and the taste of the actual coffee. It's okay. But they seem to have a lot of sweet fancy concoctions that folks who prefer coffee that way really like. Prices are fair. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. Decor is cute and the place is clean. I'll be back since I work so close by.

A very cute coffee shop located in the historic district of Burton TX. The location is great, just a few mins drive from the highway 290 and a few mins walk from the Railroad Depot. Their cold brew is very smooth and if you're a latte lover, they offer a wide selection of syrup flavors for you to pair with. It's a family friendly, kids friendly coffee shop and I love how they blend the history of town into their interior design.

I loved the hometown little cafe and the environment was just comfortable and pretty overall. Whether it's the kind hospitality or the delicious coffee and scone this place is just everything you'd need on a pretty day.

Run- don't walk- to this coffee shop. Note the adorable entrance and outdoor seating area.

They offer some yummy treats as well as sandwiches. You can also sign up for their reward program and earn points every time you come in. There is music on Saturdays and just a great meet up spot. The down side is the seating, backless stools are not the most comfortable. I saw someone on crutches that had a hard time getting up on one. Maybe it is to stop people from staying all day and working? I am not sure. There used to be a couch in there and that was nice to just sit and visit. There is also an outdoor area with picnic tables and chairs outside at tables (with backs on them!) They roast their own beans and every time I have had a coffee it was perfect. The location is a little weird, wish there was one in town but, worth it for sure!

Since then, I've become a loyal regular, drawn back time and again by the magic of this hidden gem. I adore this charming little spot, with its inviting atmosphere that's perfect for lingering over a cup or simply soaking up the laid-back vibe. Fellow coffee lovers, you're in for a treat! It's incredible when you think how these beans are roasted and then shipped halfway across the world in order to make it to your cup. We contacted Alex to set up a time to sample some pourovers. It was great to hear his heart and how he came to be at District. We were grateful for the stories of him partnering to empower roasters from Costa Rica, Salvador, and other places. Every type of roast has a story behind it. Not to mention that he is able to supply us ground beans at a good price. Also impressed with his service and care for us as customers. Given that weve had to give up so much in the coffee drinking experience we try and get what we do consume to taste as fresh as possible so weve turned to getting our decaf beans roasted locally. Weve tried a couple of places in Houston and just recently came across District Coffee. Once we checked their website and made sure it was swiss water processed and not bathed in paint stripper chemicals we decided to give them a try... the head roaster Alex is a humble guy who has a family operated business near the 249/Cypress area. I drove out to the District headquarters to pick up a pound of decaf and Alex gave me a tour around the facility which was modest, but professional. Before i left, Alex asked about the reason for decaf and i explained that we mix it with regular to create a half caff blend and with that he walked over to a bin in the shop and pulled out an additional bag of whole bean half caff blend of their signature roast and said it was "on the house" since i had come all the way out from the Sugar Land area. Wow. Now that was unexpected and also very nice considering gas costs near four bucks these days. We just had a pour over cup of that this morning and it was very, very smooth. If the regular whole bean decaf is anywhere close to the smoothness of this signature half caff roast we will most likely add District coffee to our regular rotation of coffees for our morning routine. Thanks Alex. Good luck to you and your family and we'll spread the word about your brand. Take care.
